LoveMusic! - Carrie Underwood & Michael W. Smith Sing "All Is Well"- CMA Country Christmas, ABC

Carrie Underwood & Michael W Smith Sing "All Is Well"
CMA Country Christmas, ABC

Dec. 14, 2018 (Jerusalem time)

Greetings LoveMusic! Christmas celebrants,

On Dec. 1, 2014, a very special ABC TV Christmas show was broadcast. My good wife Laurie and I watched it, as we annually enjoy any Christmas show that lifts up the Name of Jesus. And you know whenever Michael W. Smith is singing, His Name will be lifted up.

We were really delighted with Carrie Underwood joining in for the performance. They did a fantastic job together! Carrie was awesome!

As you listen, bless the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart, soul and mind, knowing that only because of Him can we have the true peace, joy, and love that Christmas represents. After all, Jesus (Yeshua) coming the first time means He is coming back again.

Oh, how I look forward to that day - when He comes not as a babe in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger, but comes riding on His mighty white stead, leading the saints from all generations to take up His rightful throne in Jerusalem, Israel, on the mountain of all mountains, where His throne will be established. He will rule the nations with righteousness and truth!

Come again quickly Lord Jesus, Yeshua HaMashiach!

Ahava (love) and shalom (peace),

Greetings LoveMusic! listeners,

With the Lord Jesus Christ on the throne, we can be assured of His protection, provision, and love in our lives. No matter what is happening around us, knowing He reigns is assurance enough that indeed "All Is Well".

What a beautiful song. What a beautiful voice. What a day to rejoice in Jesus our Lord, Savior of the world.

Listen. Be encouraged. Know that Yeshua has come, and is coming again.

Merry Christmas!

'Jesus Is Calling': Carrie Underwood's Powerful Las Vegas Memorial at the CMA Awards
11-09-2017
CBN News Benjamin Gill
Country music stars came together for the prestigious CMA Awards Wednesday night, just one month after 58 people were killed at a country music festival in Las Vegas. Almost 500 others were also wounded in that massacre.
The country music world sought to honor the victims throughout the evening, starting at the very top of the ceremony with a powerful performance of "Amazing Grace" by Eric Church.
That was followed by plenty of awards and a rousing group performance of "Hold My Hand" by dozens of country stars.
But the most poignant moment of the evening came when Carrie Underwood performed the classic hymn, "Softly and Tenderly Jesus Is Calling," in memory of all the victims of Las Vegas.
Underwood was overcome by emotion at one point as photos of the victims appeared on the screen behind her.
Her voice began to break up, and she became so emotional she couldn't continue singing the words.
The "In Memoriam" section of the show began with photos of country singers and members of the community who passed away in the last year. But when photos of the 58 people who died on Oct. 1 were displayed in the background, that's when Underwood grew emotional.
The moment captured the hearts of many viewers, who posted about it on social media:
While Underwood did not sing the entire song, here are the lyrics to the traditional hymn:
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,
Calling for you and for me;
See, on the
portals He's waiting and watching,
Watching for you and for me.
Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!
Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading,
Pleading for you and for me
Why should we linger and heed not His mercies,
Mercies for you and for me
Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!
Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing,
Passing from you and from me;
Shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming,
Coming for you and for me.
Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!
O for the wonderful love He has promised,
Promised for you and for me!
Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon,
Pardon for you and for me.
