What Santa Claus Has to Do With Kenneth Copeland, Lou Engle, Che Ahn and Mike Bickle

As the legend of St. Nick begins to make the rounds ahead of Christmas, there's a deeper meaning in the man's life that united the who's who of the charismatic world hundreds of years later.
Kenneth Copeland, Mike Bickle, Che Ahn, Lou Engle, Cardinal Daniel DiNardo and John Arnott, to name a few, spent last week on their knees in Kansas City, Missouri, to celebrate major milestones in the international church. It was all part of Kairos 2017, a conference hosted by United in Christ.
Initially, the idea for the conference was birthed in Bari, Italy, where the Basilica di San Nicola holds some of Saint Nicholas' relics. The city represents a place of neutrality for the Catholic and Orthodox churches, which both consider the basilica worthy of pilgrimage.
As Matteo Calisi, the founder of United in Christ, bridged the gap between the Catholic church and charismatic leaders, he and others began to pray into the idea of renewal. For 2017, United in Christ wanted to honor the reconciliation between denominations with a time of prayer, fasting and celebration.
"We want to launch for the first time ever, Catholics and non-Catholics and Orthodox, Messianics and all other Christians, an assertive joint effort of prayer and fasting for the harvest for world evangelism," Bruno Ierullo, a pastor of a Catch the Fire church in Canada, as well as the vice president of United in Christ. "This is just like, amazing! There a lot of people just excited [for what's to come]."
This year contains multiple anniversaries:
40-year anniversary of the Ecumenical Charismatic Conference in Kansas City (1977)
50-year anniversary of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (1967)
50-year anniversary of the Messianic Movement (1967)
500-year anniversary of the Protestant Reformation (1517)
The event was held at Forerunner Christian Fellowship, International House of Prayer's conference center. Attendees also spent several hours in the 24/7 prayer room. The conference featured multiple panels, including lectures on diversity and unity in the church, marketplace ministry and more.
In addition to celebrating the past, prayerfully considered what the future may hold.
"We believe the journey of harvest will come," Ierullo says. "The body of Christ is in that hour. God is bringing His bride into almost like an Esther-like moment so to speak, into a beauty parlor kind of thing. He's adorning it, and she makes herself ready to meet the king, King Jesus, the bridegroom. We're in that stage where bride is perfecting herself, the bride is adorning herself in the beauty salon for that great day. We believe there is a bridal paradigm, and we're doing this, the body of Christ is readying itself. It's a lot of hard work to connect people, so we are here with that dream."
Ierullo says he believes the baton of previous revivals has now been passed to the next generation. The attendees agreed to intercede together for what's to come.
The key takeaway includes the "initiative for prayer and fasting together until the harvest," Ierullo says.
Attendees also sowed into United in Christ so the ministry could "win cities all across America, come to cities to help ministries and rally up troops for the harvest."

Chuck Pierce, Che Ahn Lend Their Voices to Genesis 12:3 Mandate - EUROPEAN COALITION OF ISRAEL CHARISMA NEWS

The European Coalition for Israel and the Forum for Cultural Diplomacy has commemorated the 50th Anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem with a high level U.N. breakfast briefing in New York with the Mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat, as guest of honor. The meeting, which featured a presentation by international legal scholar Dr. Jacques Gauthier on the sovereignty over Jerusalem and its Old City under international law, culminated in the handing over of an open letter entitled "Keep Jerusalem United as the Capital of the State of Israel" to Mayor Barkat by ECI Founding Director Tomas Sandell.
In adding their signatures to the letter, more than 50 senior political leaders from around the world, among them presidents and vice-presidents, are supporting Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem as the best guarantee for a united and open Jerusalem where people of all faiths and none can co-exist in respect for each other. The letter has also received support from deputies from all the five major political party groups in the European Parliament. The 50 political leaders were joined by more than 50 global Christian leaders from around the world, representing millions of Christian believers.
Signees include: Gordon Robertson, Steve Strang, Samuel Rodriguez, Chuck Pierce, Che Ahn, Mario Bramnick, Scott Bradshaw, Robert Morris, Ossie Millks, Patricia King, Helen Lynch, Mark Chironna, Steve Munsey and Jane Clement.
Dr. Jacques Gauthier explained that "title over Jerusalem and its Old City was granted to the Jewish people during the San Remo Conference of the Principal Allied Powers in April 1920. It was at this conference that the claim for the recognition of the historical connection between the Jewish people and Palestine, presented on the behalf of the Jewish people on February 27, 1919, during the Paris Peace Conference, was approved. The rights granted in San Remo were incorporated in the Treaty of Sèvres in 1920 and the Mandate for Palestine was approved by the League of Nations in 1922. These rights also included the recognition of the historical connections between the Jewish people and the City of Jerusalem and the right to reconstitute the city as their ancient capital."
"There is today a lack of understanding of the ramifications of re-dividing Jerusalem along the so called 1967 borders," Gauthier continued. "In fact, the 1967 borders are really the 1949 armistice lines [also called the green line] between the new State of Israel and Jordan. Dividing Jerusalem on the basis of the green line would not only displace the Jewish inhabitants in East Jerusalem, but it would also mean that the Old City in its entirety would no longer be part of the capital of Israel."
He also commented on the popular notion that Israel could not have title over East Jerusalem through military conquest by noting that this principle of international law does not apply in a situation where title has previously been granted in respect to a territory which was then later occupied by others through military means.
"Although Jordan illegally occupied East Jerusalem and the Old City in 1948, Israel could not be expected to lose title when they reconquered it in 1967 since it was already theirs under international law," he said.
He cautioned the U.N ambassadors in attendance at the breakfast briefing not to summarily dismiss the undeniable facts that had been explained to them in his presentation but to take them into serious consideration whenever new resolutions on the issue of Jerusalem are discussed in the future.
In his presentation, the mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat, spoke about Jerusalem as an open, inclusive and united city which is important for billions of people around the world. "In one square kilometer, there are more synagogues, mosques and churches than anywhere else in the world. When Jerusalem was reunited in 1967 no mosques were destroyed and no churches were taken down. We maintain openness and respect for all religions." He also reminded the audience that this does not exist anywhere else in the Middle East.
"Today, Jerusalem is a safe haven for persecuted minorities and a dynamic hi-tech city which ranks 26th in the world and a city which is safer than both New York and London."  He concluded his speech by saying that Jerusalem should not only be for the Jews but for the benefit of the whole world.
The high-level U.N. breakfast meeting marked the conclusion of an international campaign by ECI for a united Jerusalem which was launched at the Annual ECI Policy Conference in the European Parliament in Brussels on March 30th and which has gained international support ever since.
In the Gregorian calendar, June 7, 2017, marks the 50th Anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem.

Mike Bickle Meets With Pope Francis to Discuss Jesus - JENNIFER LECLAIRE CHARISMA NEWS

Some of the most recognizable names in the charismatic movement had a private meeting with Pope Francis on Friday. Mike Bickle, Che Ahn, Kris Vallotton, Stacey Campbell and dozens of other Protestant leaders from North America and Europe gathered at the Vatican.
According to Bickle, director of IHOP in Kansas City, the purpose of the meeting was to engage in an on-going dialogue about the pontiff's views on Jesus and Christianity.
"The meeting lasted a couple of hours. They gave us the opportunity to ask questions. The meeting was very warm and personal," Bickle told Charisma News. "I asked him about his views on the serious error and deception of universalism that claims that 'all paths lead to God' and other religions being saved without receiving the grace of God that only comes through Jesus. He assured me that he believes that Jesus is the only way of salvation."
Bickle asked him again pointedly, "Is Jesus the only way of salvation?" He described Francis as "very strong" in his agreement on Christ as the Savior of the World and emphasized his love for Jesus and the Scripture.
What about the pontiff's controversial statement about Muslims and members of other world religions claiming "children of God" status? Bickle was told Francis was referring to all humans being children of the creator and children of Adam not "children of redemption."
"The verse that was given to me was Matthew 5:44 describing the Father giving sun and rain to the just and unjust," says Bickle. "He is unhappy with the views of some of the Catholic leadership who do not honor or value the faith of Protestant believers. He believes that a close relationship with Jesus is the only hope for the nations."

Prophetic Destiny: 3 More Tests of an Overcomer - Che Ahn

Here are more tests to pass before you will see your prophetic dreams come to light.

Prophetic Destiny: 3 More Tests of an Overcomer

Get ready to step into a new season.
September 13-15 marked the beginning of a new year on the Jewish calendar (5776). While nowadays we use the Greco-Roman calendar system, I feel the Jewish calendar has prophetic significance, and I always sense something stirring in the spirit around this time of year.
Usually coinciding with Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), September is also a significant month for me personally: It's when I got married to the love of my life, when I was ordained and when I received a prophetic dream to move to Los Angeles.
This Jewish New Year is extra special because it is the Year of Jubilee. On the Jewish calendar, years are observed in seven-year cycles, with a sabbatical year on the seventh year. Then at the culmination of every seven cycles (a total of 49 years) comes the 50th year: the Year of Jubilee, when all agricultural work ceased, all land was returned to its original owner and all slaves were released into freedom! (See Leviticus 25:8-24.)
God wants to unload His immeasurable blessings on you in this New Year!
If you want to walk in the fullness of what God is doing, you must partner with His prophetic plan both for the church as a whole and for your own journey of faith.
On Tuesday, I shared the first two tests you must overcome to see your prophetic dream come to pass as you pursue your God-given destiny. Today let's take a look at the next three:
3. The Purity Test. In Genesis 39 the story of Joseph continues as he faced a test that every person has to go through: the purity test.
"Now Joseph was well-built and handsome, and after a while his master's wife took notice of Joseph and said, 'Come to bed with me!' But he refused" (Gen. 39:6-8).
Joseph passed the purity test with flying colors. What was his secret? He had the right perspective that was aligned with the fear of the Lord: "How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?" (Gen. 39:9).
If you want God's blessing and favor, you must flee from immorality—and run straight to the Lord!
4. The Prison Test. The next phase of Joseph's journey was another test of character. After being falsely accused of rape, Joseph was sent to the king's prison (Gen. 39:17-20). There he was sustained by the Lord as he kept his heart from bitterness due to injustice.
To overcome the prison test, you must persevere and hold onto hope that is anchored in God. Perseverance means fighting the battle while you are waiting.
Perseverance produces character (Rom. 5:3-5), and character is the key to supporting your destiny. Deep character comes through deep trials.
5. The Prosperity Test. Finally, through a series of God-orchestrated events—including extraordinary prophetic insight that came through the interpretation of dreams (Gen. 40-41)—Joseph came into a place of power and influence as his prophetic destiny unraveled (Gen. 40:38-44).
The final test boils down to how you handle prosperity and favor when it's given to you. It's not just about reaching your destiny but what you do with your destiny.
When God prospers you, it's your responsibility to intentionally give Him all the glory.
Joseph's story is a tale of trials and testing, but it's also a testimony of God's faithfulness to complete the work He started.
God has a dream for you! His thoughts for you are higher than yours, and you are called to greatness in His Kingdom!

"Prophetic Destiny: Five Tests Of An Overcomer" - Che Ahn

"Prophetic Destiny:
Five Tests Of An Overcomer"

Beginning a New Year of Jubilee: Get Ready to Step into a New Season!

This marks the beginning of a new year on the Jewish calendar (5776), as Rosh Hashanah falls on September 13-15 this year. While nowadays we use the Greco-Roman calendar system, I feel the Jewish calendar has prophetic significance, and I always sense something stirring in the spirit around this time of year.

Usually coinciding with Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), September is also a significant month for me personally: It's when I got married to the love of my life, when I was ordained and when I received a prophetic dream to move to LA.

This Jewish New Year is extra special because it is the Year of Jubilee!

Five Tests of an Overcomer

Everyone has a prophetic destiny and God-given dream that we are called to walk into. But the key is: you have to know how to go from your dream to your destiny.

Why is it that certain people reach their destiny while others get stuck in life? If we look at the life of Joseph, we can identify five different tests that you must overcome as you are prepared to come into your destiny. (Photo via flickr)

If you want to walk in the fullness of what God is doing, you must partner with His prophetic plan both for the Church as a whole and for your own journey of faith.

1. The Pride Test

"Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more." Genesis 37:5

When he was a young man, Joseph received a prophetic dream that showed he was destined for greatness. Yet he lacked wisdom when he shared it with his family.
The truth is that if you can't handle the vision and call on your life, you will never be able to handle the reality of the destiny. You must overcome pride by choosing humility (1 Peter 5:5-7).

When you are truly humble, you are secure in who you are. And this security will take you through the pride test every time you go to the next level of favor and responsibility.

2. The Potiphar Test

After Joseph was sold as a slave, an Egyptian officer named Potiphar bought him. Instead of resenting Potiphar, Joseph chose humility and worked in his household: "And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand. So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him." Genesis 39:3-4

ElijahList Prophetic Resources

How well you serve those who are over you is the key to overcoming this test in life. It could be a parent, a boss or a pastor – in any case, you are called to imitate Joseph, who did not work for Potiphar but for God.

"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men..." Colossians 3:23

3. The Purity Test

In Genesis 39 the story of Joseph continues as he faced a test that every person has to go through: the purity test.
"Now Joseph was well-built and handsome, and after a while his master's wife took notice of Joseph and said, 'Come to bed with me!' But he refused." Genesis 39:6-8

Joseph passed the purity test with flying colors. What was his secret? He had the right perspective that was aligned with the fear of the Lord: "How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?" (Genesis 39:9).

If you want God's blessing and favor, you must flee from immorality – and run straight to the Lord!

4. The Prison Test

The next phase of Joseph's journey was another test of character. After being falsely accused of rape, Joseph was sent to the king's prison (Genesis 39:17-20). There he was sustained by the Lord as he kept his heart from bitterness due to injustice.

To overcome the prison test, you must persevere and hold onto hope that is anchored in God. Perseverance means fighting the battle while you are waiting. Perseverance produces character (Romans 5:3-5), and character is the key to supporting your destiny.

5. The Prosperity Test

Finally, through a series of God-orchestrated events, including extraordinary prophetic insight that came through the interpretation of dreams (Genesis 40-41), Joseph came into a place of power and influence as his prophetic destiny unraveled (Genesis 41:38-44).
