Today's Israel Inspiration

Here's an amazing insight into the name Jesse, father of King David. Jesse's name in Hebrew is Yishaiיִשַׁי composed of a Yud, Shin, Yud. In the Book of Deuteronomy (33:5), the tribes are described as being "united under a king" and those words in Hebrew are Yachad Shivtei Yisrael (יַחַד שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל), which forms the acronym "Yishai"! Thus in his very name, we see a hint of the royalty and greatness that was to come from Yishai through his son David, the king of Israel.

Putin's Actions in Syria and
the Prophecy of the War of Gog and Magog

With Russia’s military involvement in Syria growing, many Christians believe that Russia is "Magog" from the end of days' War of Gog and Magog, and that is due reason to pay close attention to activity at Israel’s northern border.

I have enjoyed seeing pictures and reading about Israel and the Jewish people.  I pray that the Lord will continue to watch over Israel and protect the land and inhabitants. I fear that our President's deal with Iran is trouble of the worst kind.  We have a year and two months before we vote on a new President. I pray we have a strong leader that understands we are blessed if we bless Israel.  That is a promise from God. He doesn't lie. My name is Ann and I am from Kansas in the United States.
Shalom,
