Phyllis Ford: "Word of the Lord for 2016 and for the Month of January - Part 2"

THE ELIJAH LIST
Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
We've been receiving many awesome, prophetic words for the New Year...and they are quite longer than normal, since it's an overall scope of whole year. This is one such word by Phyllis Ford that we decided to break into two parts since it was quite lengthy.
We are in a new time of awakening as Phyllis shares here:
"So prepare your heart in this hour to receive this new planting. Allow the weeds of the past to be pulled up. Let My words become new life and strength to you now. Come away from all that has tried to taint and pollute your fields and receive a new refreshing. For now is a re-digging of wells, and the ground is being prepared and new seedlings are being planted. Great life shall spring forth in this hour for those who are hungry and are ready for this new time of awakening.
As in her Part 1 word, there is a lot to this article...and you may need to read it a couple of times to take it all in...as there are many prophetic nuggets in her word.
Hey! Now one last thing. The "What is God Saying for 2016?" conference has JUST ended and NOW YOU CAN ORDER THE CDs, DVDs OR MP3 DOWNLOAD.
Friends, this truly, truly, truly was the best conference yet and I've NEVER EVER heard so many positive words coming forth from God's prophets. Our speakers were: Chuck Pierce, Jane Hamon, Dutch Sheets, and Dr. Alveda King (niece to Martin Luther King, Jr).
Here is the link to purchase the full message sets in DVD, CD, or MP3 audio formats:

Below is Part 2 to Phyllis Ford's Word of the Lord for 2016. To read Part 1 click here.
The following is a compilation of dreams, visions, and utterances I received from the Lord concerning the coming year 2016.
His Words: Your Dry Ground is About to Become Your Watered Garden with Rapid Growth and Harvest
We are seeing everything that has built up in 2015 come to a complete tipping point. For the bowls of prayer, petitions, and decrees have come before the Lord and the Lord is about to move on behalf of His people. The events, even the tests and trials that were experienced during this phase, have been the ground for that which the Lord is establishing now.
The Lord is saying, "For now the dry ground is about to become your watered garden. Your proving ground is about to become your breeding ground. For I am clearing the ground and I am cleansing the ground. I am planting in this season of your life, and you shall see it and you will taste its harvest. For I am rebuilding upon you in this hour, so that you may walk in My abundant life. (Photo via Pixabay)
"Now there will be a turning over of the soil and the seeds will be planted deep within. There will be great growth, and behold the bumper crop season will take place. As quickly as it is planted, so shall it also come forth.
The harvest will be like nothing you have seen in times past. For this is a part of the accelerated course that has come upon the land, and there will be rapid growth in this season."
The Lord let me know that 2016 is a time where we will not be overlooked. For even in this month there will be opportunity to grasp, to redeem time, and to move forward onto new ground. If we allow this window of time to go by, playing last year's games, we will watch everyone quickly pass us by and we will wonder where the time went. That which some of us tried to cover and hide will be exposed before all.
God then gave me key words, and they were as follows. These are not new concepts, but the emphasis on these things will begin in January and continue to carry forth throughout the year.
Kingdom Convergence
This will be a joining of giftings, callings, and anointings that the Lord will gather in this hour for optimum results. It will be about Kingdom-minded people joining together to bring about radical change. We will see a cross-pollination of people from various nationalities, regions, and background. These will be a fierce group of Kingdom people who will be fearless and focused on getting the job done. (Photo via Pixabay)
There will be a converging within the Church structure and groups specializing in particular areas for the purpose of having a greater impact and influence upon Kingdom expansion and growth. Many streams will gather and begin to flow together. There will be a blending as God's people as they unify to do greater works.
Tipping Point
Watch how when the efforts of many move together a tsunami wave of momentum is created, having much impact. It will begin in January and go throughout the year. You will see people connecting people, purpose, time, and energy along with great moves of God's glory touching others on new levels. There will be those who will be carriers of the glory realm coming together.
The bowls of the prayers of the saints will be tipped over, taking others into greater realms of prayer movements. Prophetic voices, priestly sounds of worship, and apostolic words of sound doctrine will purge and purify those coming out of deceptions, bringing them into great deliverance.
Breaking Ground
I had a vision of ground-breaking ceremonies (which included ribbon cuttings). The Lord said that all the Heavens would rejoice over the new ground breaking forth in the spirit realm. (Photo via Pixabay)
There is a fresh new boldness coming upon the land that is likened unto when Caleb went forth to take new ground. There will be new, fresh revelation in the area of spiritual warfare that will break new ground as well. Old battles will be finally be dealt with and old generational curses will be broken with fresh new victories.
Beautiful People
I had a dream where I saw a group of people arising out of the ashes of the pain of the past and they were coming forth as lights. There was such a beauty upon their countenance. I inquired of the Lord, and a few days later He said, "I am taking a people who have come out of the ugliness of experiences and bringing them forth as a beautiful people. For those who will come out of drug addiction, alcoholism, mental oppression, and emotional struggles will be made whole and new. They will see things in a new way and in a new light. For their past will be overcome by My love towards them."
I saw among them young people who came in groups, and they looked like clusters of light. I saw some of which were previously looked upon as dangerous, but have since been changed by the presence of the Lord, and they were led by other saints who have had similar experiences.
Reformation Winds & Heavenly Centrifuge
I had a vision of a whirlwind. It turned in a circular motion, and as it turned in great speed, the furniture in the room was literally hurled around. All of a sudden it stopped, and once it did, everything was laid in order. The Lord said He was about to set things in order, ushering in an apostolic and prophetic order that will change churches and even house meetings.(Photo via Pixabay)
People will be gathering together with a hunger for His presence and hearts crying out for transformation, and it will take place in the house both apostolically and prophetically. In many ways God will see to it that things fall into their proper place.
Wealthy Place
There will be a transition for those who have been in heavenly places with the Lord into a prepared place of abundance. This abundance will produce wealth vehicles that will come forth to strengthen and catapult the Kingdom work into a sound place emotionally, financially, physically, and mentally. A soundness and restoration will begin to come upon the people of God. We will see transfers of wealth and finances that have been previously promised and now will be currently manifested in the lives of God's people.
Exposures of Wickedness
At the very onset of this New Year we will see an uncovering of wickedness. The Lord will uproot and uncover the lies of the enemy. Infiltration and hidden alliances will be uncovered from within the government and different organizations. From CEOs to presidential candidates with strange bedfellows, all will be uncovered due to their refusal to change. The crossover into 2016 will hold heavy consequences, and many who have been warned will see that God is not playing with them. (Photo via Pixabay)

Other Prophetic Insights Concerning 2016: Uprooting the Spirit of Folly & Seduction
Another issue the Lord began to speak to me about is the spirit of folly and how it relates to the spirit of seduction. Many times we think that the opposite of wisdom is ignorance. We all know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. That word fear also translates to reverence and respect for the things of God. Well, our refusal to follow God, respect God, or acknowledge God is a fool's response. A fool says in his heart there is no God. The opposite of wisdom is not ignorance, but folly.
Folly develops into mockery, founded on a disrespect and disregard for the things of God. It is an end-time enemy which is tied into the spirit of rebellion and seduction. If Psalms states that a fool says in his heart that there is no God, we must realize that the spirit of seduction entices us to turn away from God, and the spirit of folly tells us to embrace a path without Him.
When Paul talks to the Galatians, he says, "Galatians, who has bewitched you?" because they did not walk in Abraham's faith. The word bewitched meant beguiled, to seduce, or entice. The desire for ungodly things will lure the hearts of men in other things and move them away from the things of God – away from their faith and into a mindset of unbelief where we have given into desires as if God does not exist or the fear of God is not in us.
This lure is not just a sexual lure; it includes ungodly mammon, addictions, and tangible obsessions. We cannot serve two masters. We cannot serve the things of the world and the things of God. We must be careful, for the things that we allow ourselves to possess can, in the presence of these unchecked desires, take possession of us.
This is why Moses and Elijah stood before the people telling them to make choices. When the children of Israel were taken into captivity, they were first taken in their hearts before they were physically taken away. This is why we must pursue Christ Jesus, making Him our heart's desire.
(Photo by Linda Harris-Iorio "The Lamb Returns as a Lion"via elijahshopper.com)
So, we have to guard our hearts and minds against the works of the flesh. We must not allow ourselves to become overly focused upon the things of the flesh, so that even small things will not become idols and graven images that have been placed above the things of God. Be ready as we approach an age that looks to the earthly satisfactions rather than godly answers to everyday dilemmas.
The Lord's Strategy for Uprooting the "Lies" of the Enemy
(The following is a revelation that, when studied, will only further reveal itself.)
The Lord revealed a strategy in prayer using a combination of Scriptures that tie together as one. It was concerning His unveiling plan to uproot "lies." He began by stating that the spirit of pride operates as the spirit of Leviathan, which is described as twisted, misleading, or crooked (or making crooked the circumstances of a matter).
Leviathan is also the author of many misunderstandings. Isaiah 27 says that God will pierce Leviathan with a sword (God's revelation of His Word). It then it goes on to say to sing about the fruitful vineyard, that He watches over it. Here in this prophetic word, the planting of truth and understanding a sonship identity uproots the lies of the enemy. Then it goes on to unveil the Scripture of Job 41, which says a hook will be used to draw out this Leviathan ("spirit of lies").
The Lord showed me in a dream that the hook was a connection to a season in time. In 5776, the Hebrew letter vav, which is said to represent the number 6, means to hook, to fasten, or to stake into the ground.
We have now entered the time when the new Hebrew year unlocked and uncovered God's plan to destroy that spirit.
And so, we move on to the Scripture of Isaiah 22, which unveils the opening of a door that no man can shut. That door takes us to a time prepared in God when this enemy will be overturned. So, we see in that same chapter a man named Shebna (which represents pride) who is taken out of position and replaced by the fastening of another who has the heart of a loving father, named Eliakim.
When you line up these Scriptures, we see a prideful spirit of Leviathan who is destroyed by a revelation, followed by a worship (a new sound), a replanting of truth, unlocked in time, and the leadership representing the Father's love replacing the evil that was overthrown.
Isaiah 27:1-3 (NLT) In that day the Lord will take His terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan, the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea. "In that day, sing about the fruitful vineyard. I, the Lord, will watch over it, watering it carefully. Day and night I will watch so no one can harm it." (Photo via Pixabay)
Job 41:1-3 (KJV) Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? Or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? Canst thou put an hook into his nose? Or bore his jaw through with a thorn? Will he make many supplications unto thee? Will he speak soft words unto thee?
Isaiah 22:20-25 (KJV) "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah: And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house. And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons. In that day," saith the Lord of hosts, "shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off": for the Lord hath spoken it.
Great Grace
We all know that where sin doth abound, grace also abounds. The Father's heart and those He will raise up in this hour with great compassion will be there to catch many in a new net of love and forgiveness. This will mark a season of leadership with great humility that will, through love, literally usher a people into the gates of the Kingdom like never before.
Weighty Gates
As we enter this new chapter of righteousness, we cross a line of demarcation. This opens a weighty gate where the weightier matters are accessed and balanced with God's divine timing for fulfillment in order. A great wisdom will be unlocked, and this wisdom will lead and direct us through uncharted waters of which we have never traveled.
We will know what to do and how to do it during this time. Some didn't have the grace to cross over into 2016, and we must be grateful. We must also understand that we have been given access. The access we have been given carries with it a wisdom. Wisdom in this hour will be a principal thing, and the fear of the Lord will make its mark at the beginning of this New Year.
His Words: You Shall be Changed Under An Umbrella of My Glory
"For My people shall receive great healing and deliverance under the umbrella of My glory. For my glory shall fall and My people shall hear the words that I am speaking to them. They shall hear individually and collectively as the words are released under that canopy of My anointing. They will hear My words of healing and cleansing. Major yokes shall be broken. (Photo via Pixabay)
"The people shall be transformed. For this is the time that My people shall be set free. For no longer will they come under the umbrella of My glory, My anointing, or My power and leave the same. I shall loose a lasting change and transformation upon them like a fire. For this is the hour of deliverance, and My people will come out of darkness and walk in My light. For it will be My power on the people, and My majesty will extend upon them."

Doug Addison: "New Levels of Peace and Provision for Transition" - THE ELIJAH LIST

Doug Addison: "Prophetic Word: New Levels of Peace and Provision for Transition"

by Doug Addison
Nov 12, 2015
Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
Here is another "spot on" word from our friend, Doug Addison. Many prophetic voices have spoken recently about the number 11, as we are in the 11th month and is symbolic of transition. Doug shares here:
God is giving clear signs to help guide you through the transitions, so watch for them. Expect to see provision and greater resources become available to you. Be willing to let go of the old to open up the new. In most cases, you will need to take a step of faith for these new doors of opportunity to open for you.
We are in an important "transition time" in the Church where God is telling us over and over again that we are moving out of the old and opening up the NEW that He has for us.
Read this crucial word by Doug...and learn how you can get positioned to transition into the new!

This month of November is a time when we will see many spiritual changes. November is the 11th month, and the number 11 is symbolic of transition.
September 23, 2015, was Yom Kippur, the most holy day on the Jewish calendar. Jewish people believe that this is the day the Books of Heaven are opened over our lives and over leaders and nations. God releases our destiny for the next year at that time.
Many people were promoted to a new level in the spirit or in maturity this year. Along with this comes a major transitional shift that takes time to work out the new plans in our lives. (Photo via Doug Addison)
Because of all the transition happening over your spiritual life, new spiritual gifts are being given to you and new angels are being assigned. As this happens you might not be as familiar with them or know just how things work just yet. As our callings and assignments change we cannot assume that we can do things the way we used to.
Watch For the New
As we enter into a new season we need to embrace this:
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past" (Isaiah 43:18).
It is important not to assume that we can do things the way we did before. Consider what happened to Moses when God spoke to him to strike a rock and water would miraculously flow from it (see Exodus 17:6). Then later, in a new season, God told him to speak to the rock and not to strike it (see Numbers 20:7-12).
Unfortunately, Moses used an old way of doing things and hit the rock instead of speaking to it. Even though the miracle happened and water flowed from it, because he did not follow God's instructions it limited him in fulfilling his life calling.
God is giving clear signs to help guide you through the transitions, so watch for them. Expect to see provision and greater resources become available to you. Be willing to let go of the old to open up the new. In most cases, you will need to take a step of faith for these new doors of opportunity to open for you.

Angels of Peace and Provision
On October 6, at 6:33 AM, I had a spiritual encounter and I was taken into a trance-like state (see Acts 10:10) that lasted 33 minutes. An angel came into the room and laid hands on me and imparted peace and spoke words from Matthew 6:33-34. The angel spoke the words, "Don't worry," as God's presence and peace enveloped me and formed a shield or force field, like a coat of armor.
(Photo by Jennifer Page "Angel Among Us" via elijahshopper.com)
But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:33-34
As I came out of this spiritual experience, I heard the Holy Spirit say that people everywhere are getting this impartation of peace and provision to rise above the storms happening right now. Whether you are aware of an angel or not, receive this by faith that God is giving you new levels of peace and the resources you will need to get through this time of transition.
Fear Versus Wisdom
We are entering into seven years of new, divine opportunities to advance God's Kingdom and receive repayment for losses over the past 14 years (since 2001). I released this last April in a prophetic word titled "Don't Hold Back."
Many people have told me that they were holding back on decisions, buying houses, moving, taking jobs, etc., because they believed the economy was going to crash last September. This kind of thinking is usually motivated by fear and will actually cause things to crash in your life. It is important to get on God's timetable and to forget some things that are no longer relevant for this season.
We need to understand the difference between fear and wisdom. When your decisions are motivated by fear you will not have a plan. When you are using wisdom, you will have heard from God and you will make decisions with divine intentions. (Photo via Pixabay)
Operating out of fear can cause you to hesitate or hold back and possibly miss God's timing. There are times that you may need to use wisdom and put things on hold. But this usually comes with peace (not fear) and God confirms it with a plan or solution.
God is releasing divine solutions and it is not the time to hold back, but to move forward with confidence. Listen to God as plans and strategies are coming for the next seven years of blessing.
Enter Into God's Rest
Last month I released a prophetic word that over the next 24 weeks, through March 9, 2016, it will be important to pull back and get a new strategy. I want to encourage you to respond to this by taking time to rest and get refreshed. As you do this, you will see new plans come to you that you will need to succeed in 2016.
Blessings,
Doug Addison

Worth The Price - The Great Commission, Part 12 - Rick Joyner

Printer-friendly version

We now understand that having koinonia is essential for the true New Covenant life and for fulfilling The Great Commission.
In the New Testament when someone believed in Christ, they were made disciples, not just converts, and their discipleship began with being “added to the church.” This was far more than just being added to the membership roll. Every part of the New Testament body of Christ is called to be a functioning part of the body to which they are connected. They have a role to play in the life of the body.
It is hard for anyone to discover their gifts and callings in the typical church service, much less have a place to function. Again, these larger services can have an important part in the life of the body, but the real building of the church, which is the place where church life really happens, will be the smaller groups.
Many Christian leaders are fearful of special “clicks” forming from small groups. This can, and likely will happen. But it is part of the maturing process that they will grow beyond if they have a secure and healthy leadership. Our human bodies are formed this way. All of the cells that are meant to be heart cells need to be connected within the heart, and the heart must be connected to the rest of the body, if it is to live.
If we are overly fearful of small groups separating themselves, then we are not mature or secure enough in the Lord to be in leadership. Without a leadership that walks in faith instead of fear, koinonia will not happen. Without the freedom present that enables some groups to separate, the control spirit will be too great for authentic koinonia. Therefore, a secure and mature leadership is crucial for church life.
All relationships go through phases and challenges before becoming mature and stable. Churches do too. If we think that we will wait out the problems and jump in when things settle down, we will not fit in when we try to jump in. The process is essential. The more intense it is, the greater we can expect the purpose and koinonia to be. As we enter more deeply into the time when all of society is falling apart, the koinonia in the church is going to be a strong lifeline to many and become one of the most valuable treasures on earth. It will be well worth whatever price we have paid for it.

SHARED ANOINTINGS (c) Morris E. Ruddick

SIGN

SHARED ANOINTINGS

(c) Morris E. Ruddick

"Elijah said to Elisha, 'Ask! What may I do for you,
before I am taken away from you?' Elisha said,
'Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.'"
2 Kings 2:9

Elijah's God-encounter in the cave which followed his
exploits against the prophets of Baal and Asherah began
a transition for Elijah's ministry, as well as for Israel. After
challenging Elijah's hideaway with the words: "What are you
doing here;" the Lord then restored him to fulfill his next task.
Soon afterward, Elijah was connected with Elisha as his
protege and the process of Elisha's nurturing began.
(1 Kings 19:16).

The authority of Elijah's anointing shut up the heavens and
brought judgment on a reprobate Israel. Then his daring
confrontation with evil changed Israel's spiritual climate. In
so doing, God's people began coming out of the closet.

So when Elisha asked for a double portion of Elijah's spirit,
it was no small thing. Elijah bore a disruptive anointing; an
anointing that short-circuited the inroads of evil. His authority
in the spirit stopped the sorcery in its tracks. It had no equal
in that day.

The fulfillment of Elisha's request for a "double-portion" was
evidenced not only by the startling miracles of his ministry,
but by the angelic host unveiled around him in his encounter
with the army of Syria (2 Kings 6:17). 2 Kings 13:21 then tells
of a burial interrupted by a band of raiders. The dead man was
abandoned in the tomb of Elisha and scripture indicates that
when "he was let down and touched the bones of Elisha, he
revived and stood on his feet." So Elisha's double-portion of
Elijah's anointing not only worked unusual miracles, it commanded
the authority of a host of angels and carried a presence that
even transcended his death.

God's highest priorities are always about His people. For
both Elijah and Elisha, their greatest accomplishments
involved the impact on the spiritual climate to mobilize God's
people and impart the prophetic wisdom as advisers to
protect those known by His Name.

These dynamics raise two very important issues. First is what
Elisha reached for: a dimension in God beyond the incredible
spiritual threshold that operated through Elijah. The second
is the issue of the anointing itself, and with the anointing the
authority, available for the challenges within the church of
this day.

The release of the anointing comes at a cost. It involves a
stewardship. The stewardship is in the reach one makes for
God's presence; which in turn abides in the place of His glory.
The operation of the anointing requires a God-perspective,
which means adjusting our mind-sets, to thinking according
to God's order and standard. The release of the anointing
manifests when operating in the Spirit beyond ones human
capacities. Shared anointings come from mentoring and
cooperative assignments directed by the Spirit for the
purpose of the community at large.

Operation of the Anointing

Jesus taught his followers how to apply righteous power in
corrupt settings. This is the way of the Kingdom. It begins
with our thinking. "Let this mind be in you which also was
in Christ Jesus." Phil 2:5

The anointing flows when there is not one vestige of
variation between God's order and purposes; and our
actions or words. It is an emptying of ourselves in
humility to allow the unhindered flow of the Holy Spirit
through us.

"Who emptied Himself, taking on the form of a
bondservant." Phil 2:7

Jesus taught His followers to abide. Jesus spent hours
at night in prayer with the Father. He imparted the
wisdom that He always did what He saw His father
doing. "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who
abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for
apart from Me you can do nothing." John 15:5-6

Upon His resurrection, a new thing happened. Jesus made
the Holy Spirit available to all believers (John 14:26-27).
The ongoing release of the Spirit follows the pattern of
Jesus in spending time with the Father and abiding. Many
were those who followed after Elijah, but only Elisha
stayed the course to embrace the "double-portion."

The Release of the Anointing

The anointing serves as a catalyst, an igniter of
righteous power. Abiding in the place of His presence,
the place of His glory penetrates the veil. It is the
place where the supernatural power of God to trump
evil is revealed.

Yet the anointing is released when what we see in
the Spirit-realm is put into action. From his place of
abiding Elisha discerned the very words the King of
Syria spoke in the privacy of his bedchamber. From
that he advised the King of Israel. So in 2 Kings 6
when the armies of Syria came by night and surrounded
Elisha's city, he knew exactly what was unfolding and
he knew what he was to do.

Joseph the Patriarch, a slave without position, brought
blessing to the household of Potiphar. Genesis 39
indicates that everyone saw that the Lord was with
Joseph and made all that he did to prosper. Joseph
knew what it meant to abide in God's presence, but
as a faithful steward Joseph put in action what God
showed him. He carried the mantle of his great-grandfather
Abraham, as a catalyst of blessing to those around him,
indeed to the nations.

Shared Anointings

Individual anointings are multiplied exponentially
when combined and released with the anointings
of others. The scope of Elisha's mantle expanded
as Elijah mentored, nurtured and prepared him. It
is the reason why biblical community represents a
safe-place to foster the diversity of gifts and
anointings; where they are allowed to incubate
and work together. However, since Jesus' resurrection
and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, shared
anointings have taken on an even greater potential.

The charismatic revival of the late sixties and
early 70s began when believers hungry for more
of God, began gathering to seek Him more diligently.
What resulted was shared and passed on by the
laying on of hands. Ripples went out that became
a torrent of revival as the anointing was imparted
and the presence of God manifested to satisfy
the growing hunger of those not satisfied with
the status quo.

Over the years, within my calling in the marketplace,
I have been given opportunity to apply my gift and
impart my anointing as a consultant to a number of
respected ministries, ranging from CBN to Oral Roberts,
to Morris Cerullo to Marilyn Hickey. In each of these
cases not only did result come from the application
of my gift; but I emerged with a dimension of the
anointing from these ministries I had served.

When anointings merge to serve God's purposes,
new dimensions are released on each side.

Many years ago, I received a prophetic word from
a minister I had never met before who had no
awareness of my situation or background. His
words to me simply were: "You sir, have a spirit
of prosperity on you. Financially, you may be
broke or you may be a millionaire. It doesn't
matter. Prosperity is not about money; but comes
from within to bring blessing and increase to others."
That word came not long after I had lost my position
with a firm I had been working for. My financial
situation at the time was not good.

Yet, the words of truth this man of God spoke
penetrated the darkness trying to enshroud me
at that time. It bore significantly on assignments
I had had in the past bearing on opportunity and
increase for my clients; as it has become foundational
to the role I now serve with the persecuted church
within God's purposes in making them the head
and not the tail.

Yet, what has resulted, as a consultant, a board-member
and a teacher-mobilizer comes from shared anointings,
which combine the dimensions of my own anointing
being blended with the unique dimensions of those
I have served and am serving.

As a young Christian, I was greatly influenced and
mentored by two incredible men of God. Both might
be described as world-class prayer warriors; men of
faith. Yet one also had a unique anointing for
developing strategy; while the other's distinctive
anointing was tied to being a catalyst for revival.
Now over forty years later, prayer, developing
strategy and revival are still by-words of the way
my anointing operates.

The more you impart to apply and give your anointing
away, the more it grows. It is a dynamic of the Kingdom.

The Cost and Application

The issue comes down to two factors. The first is the
cost of the anointing. The second is in applying the
anointing. The anointing of an Elijah or Elisha does not
come passively. It is developed and nurtured. It flows
with ones gifts and calling.

Every believer has a sphere (2 Cor 10:13), an area of
influence of their anointing. Within the boundary of
that area of influence is the authority to break asunder
what Paul refers to as the bondage of corruption.
Presumption in operating outside that sphere is
asking for trouble. The bottom line ties to changing
the spiritual climate.

Daniel excelled professionally and spiritually in a
culture of sorcery to the level that he was described
as ten times better than ALL the sorcerers within the
king's realm. From that juncture and standard, there
came stages of challenge: the king's dream; walking
in the fire; and the lion's den. Changing the spiritual
climate will not generally go unchallenged. However,
there comes a point in prevailing when one's spiritual
authority becomes established.

So it was, later in Daniel's tenure as advisor to the
court. It was in that context that the handwriting
on the wall manifested. It was a major shift from
the lion's den and walking in the fire. The handwriting
on the wall parallels Joseph's promotion alongside
Pharaoh, when the anointing prevails and has established
God's authority in a domain. When it does,
everything changes.

Yet, the mantle bearing the anointing will require
a cost. Many years ago, a great man of God I studied
under told the story of a young man who came to him
and audaciously told him he "wanted" his anointing.
Very few in that generation had an anointing to equal
the authority this man of God wielded. His response
to the young man very simply was: "Are you willing
to pay the cost?"

We impart and share the anointing generously.
However, to fully embrace the anointing of others,
a cost will be paid.

Sometimes the cost already has been paid at the
point of impartation and reflects a "next step" for
what the Lord has planned. That very much has
been the case with the persecuted segment of the
church we have been honored to be working with.
They have been through and have been purified by
fire. Elisha had been prepared by the best and was
ready for the double-portion.

Yet for others, the impartation will result in having to
face and then walk into the fire. It has never been
about man's glory, but God's; and His alone. The Word
of God tells us that God is a consuming fire. His presence
does not "abide" with the soulish. It disrupts and then
consumes it.

God's anointing applied will bring change and the
restoration of the order required to establish His
purposes. The key for the Elijah-Elisha impact, the
"double-portion" in today's time of turbulence, is to
be found in exercising the anointing through community.

We need the authority of Elijah's anointing to shut
up the heavens and bring judgment. We need God's
people to come out of the closet. We need those
who are either aligned with or overwhelmed by the
world to arise and take their place among the remnant
of the faithful, who have been applying their anointings.

It is time for the spiritual climate to be challenged
with the explosive power of shared anointings from
God's chosen.

The release of the anointing
involves stewardship.

Shared anointings ignite one another and bring
enlargement. This type of prophetic stewardship
requires a consistent priority of spending time with
Him so that our perspective is a God-perspective. It
means defining our gifts and like Daniel, becoming
the best in the sphere we've been given. That means
operating in the Spirit beyond our human capacities.

Entering this dimension requires focus given to mentoring
and cooperative assignments directed by the Spirit that
provide opportunity for shared anointings to manifest at
the community level. This premise will evoke what will
manifest as revival, as the fullness of His presence takes
root.

"I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing.
And I will cause showers to come down in their season;
they will be showers of blessing. Also the tree of the field
will yield its fruit and the earth will yield its increase, and
they will be secure on their land. Then they will know that
I am the LORD." Ezek 34:26-27
