"Great Movements Have Been Born and Nurtured in America - The Dragon Will Not Prevail" by Rick Joyner, The Elijah List

True and Biblical New Covenant Church Life is Still a Vision and a Hope!

As covered, the biggest gate of Hell was opened into the Church when positions of authority in the Church became based on the approval of men rather than God. This began in the early fourth century when the Emperor Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire. Officials of the empire were required to be Christian. This caused all manner of ambitious and evil people to enter the Church to gain favor with the government, not because of a true conversion.

The corruption of the faith deepened when rituals began to supplant the reality of the truths they were given to celebrate. Instead of having communion with the Lord and His people, they could just take communion and seemingly fulfill their spiritual obligations. By this, life in the true faith was supplanted by mere rituals.

Then the Scriptures were removed from the life of the Church. They were read only in Latin, which the common people could not understand. The Church slipped even further into the deep darkness of the Middle Ages, often called The Dark Ages, for that reason. For over a thousand years the Church languished in a place where superstition and human alliance opened the door for the antichrist spirit to dominate. This caused the Church to practice things that were the opposite of the teachings of Christ and the apostles.

The slide into the darkness was gradual over centuries. The Reformation that began with illumination from the Scriptures was also gradual.

After more than five hundred years of reformation, true and Biblical New Covenant Church life is still a vision and a hope more than a reality. To the degree that great souls have pursued this hope, there has been life and the power of redemption, reconciliation, and restoration recovered by the Church.

The City of God

The vision of the city that God, not men, was building compelled Abraham to leave everything to follow this dream into unknown places. This vision caused him to be willing to dwell in a tent when he could have afforded the greatest palace. The earth and its treasures were eclipsed by his heavenly vision to the degree that "here he had no lasting city" (see Hebrews 13:14).
In contrast, the Great Harlot of the Book of Revelation was the Church betrothed to the Lord that gave herself to "the god of this world." She succumbed to the temptations that satan offered to Jesus and every sojourner since—the temptation to bow down and worship him, or do things his way and he would offer the world. The false Church took the offer.

However, the true Church took the way of Christ, the way of the Cross, laying down their lives rather than compromising their devotion to remaining chaste spiritual virgins who would wait for the Bridegroom.

So the devil and his bride, those he had seduced like he had the first Adam's bride, became enraged at the true Bride, the true saints.

As we read in Revelation 12, the dragon poured out a flood to devour the true Church. This flood was the Inquisition that is estimated to have killed 57 million declared "heretics" because they would not bow the knee to the papacy. However, these were not heretics, but rather true saints. As we are told: "the earth opened and swallowed the flood" and "the wings of a great eagle were given to the women and carried her away into the wilderness to be nourished by God" (see Revelation 12:14-16).

America, the Great Eagle - Great Movements Came From America

The earth "opened" when the "new world" was discovered, becoming the wilderness to which the persecuted Church fled to be nourished by God. The "great eagle" in this passage is America, as the symbol of America is the eagle.

This is why a large percentage of the first colonists to America were those fleeing religious persecution in Europe. They sought religious freedom in the new world. This is why religious freedom is at the core America's purpose and why all of our other freedoms are linked to it.

America was a wilderness, but since its discovery the faith has been "nourished" in her like no other place. Great movements that touched the Body of Christ worldwide have been born and nurtured in America. To be a haven for those suffering religious persecution is one of the main reasons we exist. This is why the attack on religious freedom remains a primary way the dragon still seeks to destroy America.

But the dragon will not prevail.

"Great Movements Have Been Born and Nurtured in America - The Dragon Will Not Prevail"by Rick Joyner, Fort Mill, SC

From the Desk of Steve Shultz:
Steve ShultzMaybe it's just me...but I LOVE GOOD NEWS!
The GOSPEL, after all means "Good News!"
So I'm addicted to it...Good News, that is.

That's what this Word is all about. For centuries, satan has been trying to pervert, block, destroy and isolate the Church from the Gospel. But to no avail.

Here is a quote from Rick Joyner's Word—and this involves America (as well as the entire Church):

Great movements that touched the Body of Christ worldwide have been born and nurtured in America. To be a haven for those suffering religious persecution is one of the main reasons we exist. This is why the attack on religious freedom remains a primary way the dragon still seeks to destroy America.

But the dragon will not prevail.

Let's PRAISE GOD! He will never let His Church fail. Though the gates of Hell try, they will never prevail against THE CHURCH. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List go here.)

Prophetic Wisdom for Braving the Coming Storm - R. LOREN SANDFORD

U.S. Capitol Building
U.S. Capitol Building (Flickr/Roman Boed)
I have been hesitant to release this publicly since I began sensing it some months ago, but I feel that at this point I must. Christians must be forewarned and positioned to be peacemakers, reconcilers and purveyors of hope in the face of the trouble to come.
I have long known that at some point Barack Obama would face a crisis to his presidency that would rock the nation. I expected it in the third year of his administration, but I confess that I've never been good at hearing specific dates from the Lord. I now expect it beginning in the third and into the fourth years of his second term. Many issues have already surfaced, as have many scandals that would have sunk any previous president, but so far none of these has seemed to coalesce into something worthy of "crisis." Witness the Fast and Furious debacle, the truth of what actually happened at Benghazi that is now surfacing via those who were on the ground during the attack, the scandals surrounding the Secret Service (from soliciting prostitutes to incompetence that allowed a runner to get all the way into the White House), as well as the IRS scandal and the resignation of its director, Lois Lerner. It has been a growing list. I have sensed with some dread that, in these last two years of the current administration, corruption will be exposed and turmoil will erupt at such a level and depth that we simply won't know how to deal with it.
It would be a mistake to make the president responsible for all of this, although he bears a significant portion of the responsibility, as do his predecessors. No matter what anyone tries to make of it, know that this is not a racial crisis, but rather a crisis of fundamental integrity, and that it extends to both sides of the congressional aisle. What is coming is the culmination of decades of erosion in the moral fiber of the nation, our rejection of God, of godly principles and the relentless pressure of a culture of self that leads us to vote for whoever promises to give us the most at the expense of personal responsibility. Additionally, we increasingly tend to elect those who advocate immorality in the name of individual rights and freedoms. In the end, God's ways work and man's ways don't, but mankind has always had a difficult time accepting this as truth.
The enemy of our soul has always been an opportunist who stands ever ready to fill the vacuum left by godly people who either abandon the biblical standard or neglect to stand forth and pay the price that raising the prophetic cry against immorality and corruption exacts. Charismatic and evangelical Christians, committed to the historic faith, will pay an ever higher price for our stand in the days to come. How we choose to respond will make the difference between being permanently marginalized on the one hand or walking in victory on the other (and ultimately enjoying favor with God and man) in the midst of a time of increasing turmoil.
It's time to play our role as prophetic Daniels to our Nebuchadnezzars and as Josephs to our Pharaohs. As they did, we can become assets to a lost world, demonstrating the love and power that flow from our Savior and our Father God without compromising our integrity or entering into idolatry. It's time to position ourselves to receive and minister to a growing stream of the hurting and the broken without judgment, condemnation or bitterness. More than ever, it will be love and grace that win the lost, not cries of judgment and destruction. It's time for us to shine.

Why Who You Fellowship With Is Important - SpiritLed Woman

Why Who You Fellowship With Is Important

Fellowship. What a great word! It comes from the idea of two people sitting together in a ship. These two men or women would be companions, working or relaxing together, sharing community and conversation. Together they could enjoy the strength of relationship and experience the smooth sailing that camaraderie brings.
But what would happen if one of the men in those close quarters was not a nice guy, but instead rude and arrogant? What if one of the women in that boat was a constant downer, endlessly complaining about her troubled marriage or deviant children? The ride would be rough, to say the least. Fellowship like that could cause you to look for the nearest port of call or even tempt you to jump overboard!
It’s important who you fellowship with; that’s an obvious truth. The Bible says, “Do not be deceived: ‘Bad company corrupts good morals’” (1 Cor. 15:33, NASB). But this Scripture can apply to more than the people you hang around with.
What if we considered it in light of the attitudes we fellowship with? If we were to check the passengers that are on board in the cabins of our hearts, whom would we find there? Would it be the stowaways of discouragement and depression? Perhaps we would find pride, bitterness or faultfinding.
Maybe you have never thought about fellowship in this way before, but the attitudes we stow are as important as the company we keep. We fellowship daily with our own thoughts, and the attitudes that develop as a result of them, like friends, affect our behavior. If we are bound to a negative thought life, are we not fellowshipping with darkness?
The Bible says, “Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?” (2 Cor. 6:14). This Scripture is clearly speaking of our human associations, but it’s interesting to apply the truth to our fellowship with our own attitudes.
If we are listening to the voices of anxiety, we may be fellowshipping with the darkness of fear. How can we launch out into the deep places with God if fear is rowing against us? That fellowship would keep us anchored to the shores of safety and comfort.
Or how could we set sail with negativity as our navigator? We would find ourselves seeing everything through a dense fog and then be surprised when we arrived at the wrong destination. Clearly, not the kind of fellowship we need!
Because we are with ourselves 24/7, we are feeding our spirits all the time. Therefore it is important to know with whom—or what—we are fellowshipping. If faith comes by hearing (see Rom. 10:17), what do our hearts hear us say? Does the inner fellowship of our attitudes increase our faith, or do we discourage ourselves and provoke our own unrest?
Faith does indeed come by hearing, but so do doubt and fear. If I hear a negative report, these two shipmates are all too ready to climb on board and set sail with me. There on the open sea of my soul, I wrestle with the fellowship of darkness.
How much better it would be to voyage with the peace of Christ—to descend into the bottom of the vessel and find Jesus at rest there in spite of the storm around me. How inviting it sounds to raise the sail of hope and embark on a journey, knowing that joy and wisdom will travel with me. This is the fellowship I long for.
Of course there may be times when pirates invade our fellowship. The hostile takeover of our serenity is often a real threat. We must be diligent to carefully watch the compasses of our thought lives so we do not wander into enemy territory. Random thoughts, like pirates of the seas, will try to enter your boat and ride with you, tormenting your mind and heart.
If you had to take inventory of the passengers on your ship, what would you find there? Are you on a five-day cruise with criticism, perhaps? This little cabin boy seems to hitch a ride on many of our vessels. How easy it is to point a finger and judge what we see in others while at the same time excusing ourselves from similar flaws!
Or would your inventory reveal that you have braved the open sea with anger as your co-captain? This is one navigator that will steal your peace and take you in the wrong direction.
Whatever you find in the hold of your ship that causes you to fellowship with darkness, throw it overboard now! We are called to fellowship with the light. We do that by inviting Jesus’ thoughts into our minds and asking the Holy Spirit to pilot us into the safe waters of the Word of God.
Paul prayed that “the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit” would be with us all (2 Cor. 13:14). Those are companions we can safely take anywhere!

Kim Clement - Prophetic Alert February 22, 2014 - Prophetic Alert

Prophetic Alert
February 22, 2014 - Prophetic Alert

The Spirit of God says, My people have cried.  My people have cried out for an answer and this is what I have to say, says the Spirit of Life.  A veil has been placed upon this nation and I did it.  I did it so that for a season My people would wonder and faith would increase, for in darkness faith grows.  In despair, faith grows.  I did it.
But now, My fury has ended.  Hear Me, for I have found a man after My own heart.  I have found a man after My own heart and he is amongst you.  He is one of the brothers but singled out for Presidency of the United States of America.  But hear the transcription of God upon the heart of His prophet – how the gold has become dim, the stones of the sanctuary are scattered at the head of every street.
The precious sons of Zion, valuable as fine gold, are now regarded as clay pots and those who ate delicacies are desolate in the streets and those who were brought up in royal scarlet now embrace ash heaps.  Is this what I wanted?  My people were brighter than snow, whiter than milk.  They were like sapphire in their appearance and now they are stricken for lack of fruits in the field.  The hands of once compassionate women have cooked their own children and their children have become food for them.  Your children have become food for who were once compassionate women.
But My fury is fulfilled, says the Lord, and I have now kindled a fire in Zion.  I have kindled a fire in Zion, in America, in nations throughout the earth, and My fist is about to smack down on Russia, for out of the rebellion of the Ukraine, which was seen by My prophet, shall come out of those ashes, beauty – shall come out of that sadness, joy – shall come out of those garments, praise, says the Lord.
I have searched for a man and a woman who would stand in the Oval Office and pray and call for the restoration of the fortunes of Zion.  I have looked for a man who would pray for the restoration of the fortunes of Zion.  Therefore, if you hear My heart, says the Lord today, I will take you on a journey.  I will first take you to Israel, whom they would give Jerusalem to his enemies.  Why would they give half of Jerusalem away?
This will not happen, says the Lord, for I will take you on a journey today into Jerusalem, where it shall be prophesied through song by My prophet what I intend doing in Jerusalem and in the United States of America at the same time, says the Lord. I am restoring the fortunes of Zion.  I am restoring the fortunes that were the inheritance of My people.
I am restoring the fortunes of those that are the elect of God and have been stolen from.  You shall eat your delicacies again and your children will no longer be your food.  You shall not use them and take them out of the womb anymore, says the Lord.  Watch how I change everything, for there shall be those who are in justice.
There are those who are in a strong position – I’m just hearing this now – in the highest court in the land – the Supreme Court.  Two shall step down for the embarrassment of what shall take place for I wish to place in the highest court in the land, righteousness.  And they shall attempt to put others in to endeavor, to reach their endeavors, but God says, hear Me tonight.  Hear Me today – I have this whole thing planned out according to My will for it is now time for Me to restore the fortunes of Zion – the fortunes to those that had it once, you are going to get it back.  This is My promise, says the Lord of Hosts.
Let us go to Israel.  Let us now go to Israel.  Let us go to Israel, where there is a single woman crying out and praying for the peace, for the prosperity of her land.  Listen to her as she prays out, for this is happening now and I am hearing her prayer from the hills outside of Jerusalem.  This is actually happening in the Spirit.  (Hannah sings)
This man has stood in Jerusalem.  This man that I saw in the vision, a man that came out of a vision, please hear me.  I was standing in my garden.  Suddenly the Spirit came and removed from my eyes, scales. I was praying for America and I was praying for Israel – nothing unusual.
Suddenly behind me, starting behind my back, going in the form of an arrow, were hundreds of thousands of people.  And I turned around and I was stunned at what I saw.  This was not just a mere dream, but this was a vision.  And so I raised my hand like this and every one of them raised their hands.  I looked back and they were doing the same thing.  I shouted and they all shouted.
They were one; they were one; one party, one party of people.  It continued until I realized that in the unity of these, amongst them stood one that God had set aside to be the leader of this nation.  I said why am I hearing this so soon?  Surely You would show me a little bit of it closer to the time.  And the Spirit of God said to me, this man has a humble stature but he is a genius.
And then I heard “gold.”  I wasn’t sure if this was attached to his name, but He said to me, he will restore the fortunes in this nation because of his brilliance.  I couldn’t quite see his face because that was not allowed because there was a mist that covered all the people and he was amongst them.
And the Spirit of God made me look at him, and He said, this man will throttle the enemies of Israel.  This man will throttle the enemies of the West, and there are highly embarrassing moments that are about to occur for many, many politicians in this nation.  There will be a shaking amongst the Democrats in the upcoming elections, but unsettling for the Republicans.
Why is God doing this? For God said, I am dissatisfied with what emerges from both parties.
And then there is a nation, He showed me, He took me, itching for a new kind of war with America.  They will shout, “Impeach, impeach,” they say, but nay.  This nation shall come very subtly but he shall not come in the time of President Obama.  They shall come when this new one arises, My David that I have set aside for this nation – a man of prayer, a man of choice words, not a man who is verbose, who has verbosity, who speaks too much.
They will even say, “This man is not speaking enough,” but God says, I have set him aside.  They will shout, “Impeach, impeach,” but this shall not happen, and then, God says, highly embarrassing moments when another Snowden arises and people will become very afraid.
They’ll say "we have no protection" and then God says, am I impressed with your weapons of war?  Am I impressed with the strength of your men’s legs?  Ha!  I have said I will bring this nation to its knees, and God said, you have been humbled, and yet some more, and then you shall hear the sounds of great victory.  For where are the people gathered?  Where are My people gathered?  Where is the sound of unity from My people?
In this next week, this man shall begin to emerge, and in the following two weeks, which is a three-week period, he shall slowly come to the fore.  For they are saying, "how do we kill the giant? How do we kill the giant of debt?  How do we kill the giant of socialism?  How do we kill the giant of human secularism?"
I have placed that man amongst you, a humble man.  And as Samuel stood before the brothers, and they had rejected David to come because of his age – take all these little remarks I’m giving you – they are gems.  The name and the word “gold” – remember that.  A man that is amongst them but is young.
And God says, these that shall reject him shall be shocked at how he takes the giant down.  Now hear me please.  The giant of debt, the giants that have come, the brothers of Goliath, stand in glee watching America.  “We will cripple you.  You will lose your credit.”
But God said, watch, I said 20,000.  Look not to Wall Street; however, observe.  And they shall say, "what is your plan for this giant?" And he will take a simple stone (remember the name) and he will hold it up and they will laugh at him, but the plan is so brilliant, says the Lord.  It could only have been given by Me.
California, you are dying because of a drought.  Watch My sign, watch the sign of rain for I told you there would be severe wind from above and all the states that are affected by this severe weather have been set up for a shaking of My Spirit and an outpouring of My Spirit, but California, I am looking at you.
Gold – stone – California and small of stature, and God says, once you recognize the man that I have raised up, pray, for the enemy will do everything in his power to put a witch in the White House.  Did anybody hear what He just said?  For Jezebel has chased away the prophets and even Elijah.   Now I have said, go back, for this shall be dismantled so that there will be no more corruption in the White House, says the Spirit.
America, freedom is yours in the Spirit!  Israel, freedom to reign - America, righteous judgment and a great shaking of the Spirit in America!
The Spirit of God says, one more thing I want to talk to you about – that little dwarf in North Korea.  I’m getting a little tired of him. I think I’m going to go and pay him a visit, says the Lord.  You watch and see what I do and that will be a big sign that the man that I’m sending with the stone for the giant is emerging, says the Lord.

US Tax Dollars Funding Palestinian Corruption?

US Tax Dollars Funding Palestinian Corruption?

JERUSALEM, Israel -- You may have heard the phrase, "your tax dollars at work." For years, American tax dollars have been working to bring peace to the Middle East -- by going straight into the hands of the Palestinian Authority. But are American taxpayers getting what they paid for? That's the question being raised following the latest charges of Palestinian corruption.

Palestinian Feud

Yasser Arafat's former economic adviser, Mohammed Rashid, started a feud recently with P.A. President Mahmoud Abbas when he told Al Arabiya, Abbas is worth millions.

"Mohammed Rashid said in the interview 'if I gave him $20,000 to survive from where did he get now, $15 million in his bank account?'" said Bassem Eid, head of Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group. Now, according to Eid, Rashid and Abbas are accusing each of other hoarding millions from the P.A. coffers. The feud puts a spotlight on a system in which foreign nations donate billions to the P.A. with little oversight.

"No one knows, for example, how much the security forces -- and presumably according to Palestinian sources -- 50 percent of the budget goes to them," Hillel Frisch, a professor at Bar Ilan University and an expert on Palestinian affairs, told CBN News.

"The problem with the Palestinian Authority is the tremendous subsidization at the expense of the American and European taxpayer," he explained.

"It's one of the few countries in the world that is subsidized to the tune of 40 percent of its budget," Frisch said. "That means that corruption is not only an in-house story, it's a story that affects the European and American taxpayer."

Despite the lack of accountability, the United States keeps sending money. In April, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton defied Congress and released $147 million.

Lawmaker Demands Answers

Rep. Louie Gohmert wants answers from the State Department and the Palestinian Authority.
"In one of our meetings in the West Bank, I said, 'Look, do you understand that when you're not spending the billions of dollars that you've received from countries, particularly the United States, to provide homes for your own people, who are homeless -- how do you expect us to keep funding you?'" Gohmert said.

Gohmert says the money fuels the conflict. "You know, it really looks like when you squander money and don't help the homeless have homes, that you are trying to keep this hatred, keep this anger going so that the feud keeps going," Gohmert noted.

"Why should we fund that? Well the answer is, 'we shouldn't,' he concluded.

So far, the Obama administration seems silent on the issue.
