Ex-LGBT Will March on Washington This Weekend to Celebrate Freedom

JESSILYN LANCASTER  CHARISMA NEWS
Last May, a handful of people gathered near the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to share how Christ set them free from homosexuality.
On May 25, they'll meet again. This time, they'll have hundreds added to their ranks proclaiming that freedom is possible.
Charisma News spoke with several "Overcomers," that is, men and women who have left homosexuality, including Freedom March Founder Jeffrey McCall. You can listen to their stories by clicking on the podcasts at the end of the article.
Since 2018's inaugural march, the group led a rally in Los Angeles and has two planned in St. Paul and Orlando in addition to D.C.

As for D.C.'s second march, McCall shared how the movement has shifted in the last year and what he expects in a few weeks.
Charisma News: How are you feeling now that you're approaching the anniversary of the original Freedom March?
Jeffrey McCall: I am so excited. The first Freedom March actually landed on my birthday last year, so every year for my birthday, I get to celebrate the birthday of the Freedom March. It's just so exciting to see how much the Freedom March has grown. I can't believe just how close it has brought people from all over the country. It's created the "Freedom Family" with overcomers uniting from all over the country.
CN: How has the movement changed over the last year?
JM: The movement has grown so much. We are just continuing to share the testimonies of people who have left LGBTQ lifestyles to follow Jesus. We continue this movement, but with new people getting to share every year.
CN: What have you changed about your tactics in planning/executing the march?
JM: We have changed the march to have more testimonies together in between worship and opened up time at the end to minister to the people.
CN: Why hold Freedom Marches in multiple locations?
JM: It was actually M.J. Nixon's idea to travel and take the March from D.C. to other cities. We thought it was a great idea to pull people together for cities in their states to host a Freedom March and publicly proclaim Jesus in their own areas.
CN: What miracles are you seeing on the front lines?
JM: We are seeing miracles. People from all over this country are leaving LGBTQ lifestyles to follow Jesus Christ. When they see us, what we're doing and standing for, it shows them the power of God and that He wants us too.
CN: How are you battling principalities in cities like D.C., LA, St. Paul and Orlando?
JM: When we come united, it's like the power of the blood of Jesus goes before us, and principalities can't do anything. Whether we contend in cities with spiritual powers or not, we know that we have the victory, and we walk in with our heads high knowing Jesus chose us, and we walk out of that city knowing we have accomplished what God destined us to do in that city.
CN: What are your goals for this year's marches?
JM: My goals for this year's Freedom March is to grow and have more of the body of Christ to come out and support us! We want all brothers and sisters in Christ to come hear the stories and to unify with us in marching, proclaiming, 'Jesus is Lord'!
CN: What has the Holy Spirit told you about this upcoming march?
JM: The Holy Spirit has shown me these three marches this year—D.C., St. Paul and Orlando—will really put the Freedom March on the map. It will have really explosively grown this year and will begin the revival that will occur in the LGBTQ community!
CN: How has the Holy Spirit fulfilled previous dreams/visions about the marches?
JM: The Holy Spirit has truly fulfilled the dream of what I saw the march becoming. It's been awesome because I received a word that people would come alongside me and help me, and that word came true! Without the Freedom March board, it would not be what it has become today. It's been amazing teamwork!
CN: How can people get involved?
JM: People can get involved by helping us with donations and prayers. We have to raise a lot of money to put these things together. We actually have all the people we need to fulfill these marches; we just need financial support. We would also like people to keep us covered in prayers. Our website is info@freedomtomarch.com; we also have a "Freedom March" Facebook page.
CN: What else would you like to add?
JM: We are all so honored to share what Jesus has done in our lives. We all left the LGBTQ life to follow Jesus, and our surrender is producing great fruit for the kingdom of God. We are so excited that many more are coming out and experiencing the freedom from sexual bondage that only Jesus can give. He is a chain breaker, and He has paid for all to be free! So we hope everyone comes out and supports what we are doing!

Sex (Part 1 of 2) - the Evil Side - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Sex

(Part 1 of 2)

- The Evil Side

Now Think On This
Steve Martin

“And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper…” (Romans 1:28, NASU)

This Now Think On This message has a simple title: Sex.

Why so simple? Because the basics of life for sex are not complicated. Thus the simple title.  (Please notice though that there will be at least two parts to this message, being this is obviously Part 1.)

As you read, I want you to know that I do not adhere to PC (political correctness). You’ll find none here. Nor will there be any confusion present. There is nothing more clear and direct than what we are to know about sex.

You believe God. He tells it like it is. It is definitely not rocket science. He has no intent to lead us astray or make it hard to understand Him.

You don’t believe God? Then I suggest you go read something else, because you lost it right out of the starting gate.

If you don’t believe something that has been proven over, and over, and over again to be the truth, then you will go on living the deceptive lie that has swallowed men and women to the point where they believe anything about anything. How much more deception can there be? Especially when it comes to sex.

One look at the results where we have finally arrived, in our free societies, and you know that there is not much left at all to be deceived about.

So what are we made to think is ‘normal” sex today? With full exposure in all its forms, we are being taught (notice how the hot water has been rapidly heating up, and yet the frogs inside the soon to be boiling pot on the stove have no clue) – that all is OK. I’m OK. You’re OK.

It is all around us – the late-night, though ever earlier - TV reality and drama programs; movies that used to be rated XXX when I was a teenager, now get an “R” rating, and even some PG-13 shows are pushing the line further across the “don’t go there” marker passed decades ago.

Cute looking books with nice covers are available in almost every book store, family-themed included (except in the few remaining Christian ones that have not shut down yet for lack of support) teaching our kindergartners that it is normal for “Mommy and Mommy to love each other” and “Daddy and Daddy teach us the way to go, to walk there on.” Their new gospel has replaced the most common sense one, given to us by the Creator of sex Himself.

Talk about common sense, or lack of it? Even my Dad knew that I knew, when he handed me the plumbing pipes, as I helped him in my middle school years, that the “male end goes into the female end" of the pipe, when joining together to get a good fit. Or connecting the garden hose to the faucet. Didn't take much of a brain to figure that out. Simple human anatomy science at work.

Don’t dare allow any of the “righteous ones” to speak out against that though, for that would be judgmental. And we each shouldn’t judge one another or how we want to live.

Love that is love” is always right, right? Simply put – “No it is not.”

Out-of-marriage sex – starting as early as possible, with anyone, and then going on even after leaving your wife or husband, after 30 years, to just play around. Now you are free?

Marriage? Millennials don’t know what that word is? “I don’t need to be committed to one person. What happens if we don’t love each other, or even like one another, after a year or more of living together? Then I won’t have to go through a nasty divorce like my parents did when I was eight.”

If unwanted life happens to happen, we can get rid of "it" tomorrow. It's just tissue. We'll go to Planned Parenthood, for they have the way to keep my body my body.

Or Liam will marry William, and Emma will partner with Olivia, and if we all want to live together, no problem. You can even be Bruce tonight and become Katrina tomorrow night! (Or is he/she another name? Can’t keep up with it.)

What fun it will be! Until at least when the inner emotional pain, sexual diseases and other unnatural results, result.

How crazy has it gotten?!

And then there is the astronomically expanding quantity of easily accessible, 24/7 Internet, affecting all levels of society.

Just today I saw this article published by a leading Christian news organization, CHARISMANEWS, where incidentally I get most of my accurate, up-to-date-good news.

“Research has shown that early summer brings a peak in porn searches on the internet. While the reason for this is unclear, with 68 percent of men in the church viewing pornography on a regular basis, it is likely that these men are being exposed to more triggers in the summer months. As the weather warms up, people dress in Summer clothing.

For someone who struggles with pornography, this can act as a subconscious trigger that leads them into a downward spiral to going online and acting out. Some other possible explanations are that people have more time on their hands or are around family, which could bring up childhood triggers.” (Source: Porn Use Skyrockets with Onset of Summer” 6/6/2017 KINGDOM WORKS  CHARISMANEWS. Full article and further material below.)

Sex trafficking and prostitution has hit all the major (and minor) cities of the USA and throughout the entire world. Young girls, some just barely over the age of 12, with the average age being 13 in America, are lured into giving their bodies even to older, much older perverted men. CBN News had a report on their 700 Club, with Pat Robertson, this week of a woman who described her horrible years trapped in the evil, sinful destruction of young lives. Most “clients” didn’t even care that she was 13 when the horrible abuse in sexual perversion began with her.
Thus in our sex-crazed, unstoppable, uncontrollable access to anything, we have convinced ourselves that this is now OK, that the Bible is totally outdated and obsolete, and we have found the freedom, the better way, for our enlightened cultures.

No more laws. No more commandments. No more legalistic rules to hold us down. Yes, freedom is fully ours! And if we want to change it next week, we’ll just go right ahead. Majority rules! We’ll just get our lawmakers and judges to do it, or we will vote them out (if elected) or have them removed!

No one has been left unaffected, unless you have lived on a deserted, middle-of-the-Pacific island for the past 20 years.
There you have it. Part 1. Come back in a day or so for my next message.

There is good news.

With pornography use reaching its height during summer months, churches are being called to provide a program to disciple their men on sexual integrity.
Research has shown that early summer brings a peak in porn searches on the internet. Some other possible explanations are that people have more time on their hands or are around family, which could bring up childhood triggers.
We live in a free society where we don't dictate what people wear, but there are thousands of men in desperate need of accountability and discipleship so that they can respond to these triggers in a healthy way.
In 1 Corinthians 10:13, Paul says: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, and He will not permit you to be tempted above what you can endure, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it."
If you've ever struggled in this area, you've probably been looking for that way out and wondering, Why haven't I found it yet?

Facebook Backpedaling After Banning Christian Mom for Posting Bible Verse - JESSILYN JUSTICE CHARISMA NEWS

Facebook backpedaled after shuddering activist and Christian homeschool mom Elizabeth Johnston's account for posting a Bible verse.
"Where have I been? I was banned from Facebook for 3 days because I quoted what the Bible says about homosexuality," she shared on her "Activist Mommy" page. "Facebook is now censoring Christian speech! Facebook allows the most vile speech and photos yet censors Christian speech and the Bible. I'm out of 'Facebook jail' for now, but the threat to delete my page if I continue to speak on this is still very real. I will not be intimidated. You can physically place me in jail for all I care...I will not be silenced. You can read what I wrote below, which Facebook deleted. Let's see if this post gets deleted. Please share far and wide with the hashtag #FacebookCensorsBible #Censorship #biblecensorship #christiancensorship #Facebookcensorship."
The media giant later apologized, saying the temporary freezeout was a mistake.
Johnston says the post in question was more than 6 months old at the time Facebook banned it.
Her censored post quoted Leviticus, which calls homosexuality an abomination and detestable.
Once Johnston's page was restored, she says she was banned again for calling out Facebook for its liberal bias.
Though Facebook has since apologized, it appears Johnston's battle is far from over. Shortly after Facebook's apology, she says reports began to flow in that some forms of censorship were still occurring.
"I am gathering evidence," Johnston wrote Feb. 23. "Please send me any information or screenshots or explanations you have to show me how my Activist Mommy page is being censored. One person told me my videos had no share buttons on them while everyone else's do. Another woman just told me nothing happens when she clicks share on my posts, while she can share other people's posts (angry emojis). I realize some of you can still share my posts, but FB may be able to control the amount of sharing. Somethin's smelling rotten to me! (Sick emoji) This is a national news story right now. It's time to lift the skirt on this biased social media censorship! Help me by sharing and praying!! #ActivistMommy #censorship #BibleNotHateSpeech."

Zadok, Christian Churches and the LGBT Split - JASON AND DAVID BENHAM CHARISMA NEWS

Zadok, Christian Churches and the LGBT Split

JASON AND DAVID BENHAM  CHARISMA NEWS
An interesting separation is taking place in the Christian community today over homosexuality and gay marriage. One leader opposes. Another affirm. Yet most just sit silent.
But not for long.
The agenda to impose participation and celebration of the gay lifestyle—and all the expressive events surrounding it—is more aggressive than ever before. It has steamrolled through the spheres of culture (education, media, business, government, etc.) and now it has the church ("the last man standing") in its crosshairs.
Why? Because the church is the "pillar and foundation of the truth" (1 Tim. 3:15c).
The good news is, these attacks are revealing which Christian leaders truly walk in the presence of God and which simply enjoy a platform for Him.
But regardless, no matter how much care and concern true believers have for homosexuals as precious image-bearers of God, the agenda to eliminate Christian witness on sexual morality will take no prisoners.
Now more than ever before in our lifetimes, those holding to a moral, biblical orthodoxy must prepare for a bold stand. Will the radical agenda to transform America—and the entire Western world—topple two millennia of Christian teaching on marriage and sexuality?
Not if the Zadok priesthood has anything to do with it.
So who the heck is Zadok, and what does he have to do with sexuality and gay marriage?
It sounds random, but it's truly profound. Hear us out on this.
In the time of Israel's captivity in Babylon (605-535 B.C.), God gave Ezekiel the prophet a message for His people, explaining the many reasons their nation was destroyed and the people were taken captive. The main reason above all the rest was they had weak priests who refused to stand against the evil of their time and lead the people to truth.
Listen to what God said to Ezekiel: "Her priests have violated My law and have profaned My holy things. They have made no distinction between the holy and profane, nor have they shown the difference between the unclean and the clean" (Ezek. 22:26a).
The priests refused to tell the truth about right and wrong, so the people went astray. The "church" wasn't being the church. Her leaders refused to clearly distinguish between God's way and the world's. They mixed the holy and the profane. Maybe they didn't want to come across as "bigoted" or "hateful." Who knows?
Now enter Zadok and his descendants. He was a godly priest who was faithful during the time of rebellion under King David, while the other priests simply went along with the cultural current of the day (1 Kings 1-2). As a result, God blessed Zadok and his sons for toeing the line.
Ezekiel prophesied of these "sons of Zadok"—a remnant of priests within the priesthood who spoke truth to the people. These guys were the ones in the middle of all the other priests who stood up and spoke the word of God clearly, leading the people toward the truth instead of away from it. No matter how strong the influence of culture was upon them, the sons of Zadok remained—and would remain—steadfast, teaching the way of God in truth.
"But for the Levitical priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept the charge of My sanctuary when the sons of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near to Me to minister to Me. ... They shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean" (Ezek. 44:15a, 23).
The Zadok priests made clear, moral judgments about right and wrong, while other priests clouded the truth and refused to show the way of righteousness. (As former baseball players, we'd call all these other priests R.O.Y.s—which means the "rest of y'all." In baseball, fans pay to see the stars play while the R.O.Y.s simply make the game happen.)
Keeping with our baseball analogy, the Zadok priests were the stars, while all the other priests were just the R.O.Y.s
But (and that's a big but), the R.O.Y. priests were still part of the game. Check out how these guys continued to serve in the temple, but God clearly distinguished the Zadok priests above the rest:
"He said to me, 'This chamber that faces south is for the priests who have charge of the temple. The chamber that faces north is for the priests who have charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, who come near to the Lord to minister to Him'" (Ezek. 40:45-46).
The R.O.Y. priests got the platform, but the Zadok priests got the presence. Though the R.O.Y. priests still served in the temple, they had to keep their distance. But the Zadok priests were able to draw near to God—because they remained faithful to Him and His ways during times of rebellion.
Today, New Testament believers are called to be a remnant of priests.
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, so that you may declare the goodness of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" (1 Pet. 2:9).
The question is, which priest are we, and which one do we want to be?
Will we be a Zadok priesthood—those who shine the clear light of God's truth into a darkened world that desperately needs Him? O will be just be like the R.O.Y. priests—those who refuse to teach others the difference between the holy and the profane?
The radical LGBT agenda is forcing the choice.
So as the separation in the Christian community continues, it will be much easier to see difference between "priests" who've chosen a platform and those who've chosen God's presence. {eoe}

Mexican Evangelist Says God Can Heal the Lesbian Soul - J. Lee Grady CHARISMA MAGAZINE

Isabel Contreras
Isabel Contreras (Unidad Cristiana Querétaro)

Fire in My Bones, by J. Lee Grady
Isabél Contreras was the most unlikely person on earth to become a traveling preacher.
Raised in a Catholic family in southern Mexico, she became an atheist at 14, explored satanism during high school and began living la vida loca—the crazy life—when she became an amateur volleyball player. She drank heavily, embraced a lesbian lifestyle and even sold her body as a same-sex prostitute during the three years she lived in Mexico City.
But all that changed when she found Jesus at age 21. No one had to tell her to stop having sex with women. "Immediately the Holy Spirit told me this was wrong," Isabél says.
After her conversion she invited 25 of her athlete friends to a dinner and announced that she was a Christian. "You are welcome to join me," she said, after inviting them to her charismatic church. "Otherwise you can pretend you never knew me. The old Isabél is dead."
Her lesbian friends weren't happy with the drastic change. They even hired a girl to try to seduce her, but Isabél didn't fall for the scheme. "I knew I would never go back into that life," she says. "I knew my decision to follow Jesus was all or nothing."
And thus began an unusual journey for a woman who has become a respected minister in a male-dominated country marked by its machismo. Now 54, Isabél has planted two churches. From her base in La Paz, in the Baja peninsula, she has preached in every state in Mexico and in five other nations.
At the ReeNueva women's conference held in the city of Querétaro last week, her passionate preaching had women cheering—and laughing at her frequent jokes. "Christ is in you!" she shouted. "God put you where you are so you can give people the anointing; Satan and his demons are afraid of that!"
Being a minister is not easy for Isabél, even though she has traveled for 20 years as a prophet and Bible teacher. When she visits a new city she often learns that she's the first woman ever to preach there. Some male pastors have angrily confronted her, telling her that God doesn't anoint women to share the gospel. She usually reminds them of the biblical story of Balaam.
"If a donkey can speak for God, so can I," she says.
Isabél has become popular, especially among women, because she doesn't even try to fit into the Latino cultural mold. She is not a fashionista, for sure. She doesn't wear high heels or fancy dresses. When she stands at a pulpit she typically wears functional work pants, a sweater and a simple key necklace. Her hair isn't styled. And she jokes about her weight—and then reminds people that she recently lost 116 pounds.
"I know what some of you ladies are thinking when you see me," she told the crowd in Querétaro. "You think I look like a dyke. That's OK. I don't care what people think about me. I am going to keep looking at Jesus until I look just like Him."
But it is Isabél's plain appearance and brutal honesty that win her audience. They love that she doesn't have a model's looks. They feel accepted by her, not threatened. So they listen carefully to her testimony and her prophetic teaching.
"God has told me that I'm a sign," she says. "The way I look, the way I am, allows people to feel comfortable with me and they receive what God is saying."
Isabél believes her homosexual struggle began at age 11 when an older girl molested her in a dark closet. But she also believes some women turn to lesbianism because they have been raped or abused by men—and therefore they view sex with men as painful or traumatic. This problem is especially serious in Mexico, where domestic abuse has become an epidemic and the rate of femicide is one of the world's highest.
While Isabél views homosexuality as sin, she has only compassion for people who struggle with same-sex attraction because it is often rooted in abuse. She has counseled countless people who found healing after prayer.
Some church leaders in Mexico believe God is using Isabél in a unique way, not only to offer healing to people who struggle with their sexual identity but also to the entire body of Christ.
"Isabel is breaking paradigms," says Claudia Cupido, co-pastor of Unidad Cristiana, a charismatic megachurch in Querétaro. "It is not often you find the combination of prophetic and teaching ministry that she offers. Now that she speaks freely about her past, she will neutralize the battle that many girls and women are facing."
