What happened when Israeli evangelists met Muslim refugees in Sweden - ONE FOR ISRAEL
Israel was chosen by God to serve as a vessel - to bring his oracles (the Scriptures), to bring the Messiah to the world, and to show what God is like. Israel was called long ago to be a light to the nations. So it is our heart at ONE FOR ISRAEL to take the Gospel message out from Zion to the world.
We have been sending teams of Jewish and Arab students from our Bible college out to the nations to share the Gospel. One team was recently in Sweden, reaching out to Muslim refugees. They have returned with some amazing stories!

Jewish-Arab mission team report back from Sweden!
"Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by
the gospel of peace." (Ephesians 6:14-15)
Remarkable things happen when Jewish and Arab Israelis go to share the gospel together. Many European countries, like Germany and Sweden, have thousands of Muslim immigrants and refugees from countries closed to the gospel. But what happens when someone approaches them in Europe, speaking Arabic, and saying they are bringing a message of peace and love from Israel??!!
Our bold team of witnesses shared the gospel on the streets of Sweden, and saw two Muslims put their faith in Jesus! In one incident, one of the girls had prepared hearts with the words "God is love" in Arabic and English, and handed one to a lady wearing a burka. She took the heart and asked where they were from. "Israel" came the reply. With that she gave the heart back to the girl, and turned to board a bus. But seconds later, she changed her mind, got off the bus, and came back to talk to the team.
"For so the Lord has commanded us,‘I have placed you as a light to the nations so that you may bring salvation to the end of the earth.’” When the Gentiles heard this, they were thrilled and glorified the word of the Lord; and as many as had been inscribed for eternal life believed." (Acts 13:47-48)
Above you can see our team leading worship in Hebrew and Arabic, as we worship back in our Bible College here in Israel.
As a result of a previous trip to Germany...
One of our graduates, Sharbel Dakwar, went on a trip like this to Germany while he was a student at our Bible College. As a result, he made the decision to return on a long-term basis, and has dedicated his life to serve among refugees there. He has been living and serving in Germany for a year now, but the mission trip he had joined as a student was a stepping stone to his calling.
On a different note, there have been some truly groundbreaking developments and surprising statements coming out of the recent conference in Bahrain. As Hananya Naftali (Messianic Jewish adviser to Benjamin Netanyahu) said, Israel has been waiting for these words for 70 years. Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Foreign Minister of Bahrain openly declared,
“Israel is a country in the Middle East. It is part of the heritage of this region. The Jewish people has a place amongst us.”
