Rabbi Tuly Weisz, Founder/Director/Publisher - Israel365 & Breaking Israel News - interview with Steve & Laurie Martin

May 7, 2019, in Bet Shemesh, Israel

May 13, 2019

Greetings Love For His People readers,

Laurie and I had the great privilege of being with our new friend Rabbi Tuly Weisz, and having more than a half hour with him. Rabbi Tuly is the Founder, Director, and Publisher of the well-known news reporting websites of Breaking Israel News and Israel365

As I told Tuly, Love For His People consistently shares these messages on our website, to further the impact of this wonderful work. I also stated that it is my belief that their reporting of events in the USA is even more accurate than what we get from news organizations located here!

We went to his Bet Shemesh, Israel office on May 7, 2019, as part of our recent trip to Israel. We realize and affirm that our hearts join with his in the desire to connect Jews and Christians for the Lord's work in the Land of Israel (see his bio below).

After listening to the interview, please consider adding Breaking Israel News to your email subscriptions (no charge) and Israel365. You will be encouraged daily in your support of Israel and the Jews, along with accurate and penetrating news articles.

Thank you very much, Rabbi Tuly!

Ahava and shalom,

Steve Martin

These 4 Biblical Prophecies Are Playing Out in Israel Right Now - CBN NEWS/RABBI TULY WEISZ CHARISMA NEWS

(Photo by Josh Applegate on Unsplash)
When President Donald Trump moved the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem many people of faith quickly recognized the biblical significance of such a move. Trump, like King Cyrus before him, fulfilled biblical prophecy, by recognizing that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state and that the Jewish people deserve a righteous, free and sovereign Israel.
However, this was not the first time in the modern State of Israel's short 70 years that it has played a role in the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. Many of the miracles we are witnessing in Israel today were promised in the Bible long ago.
The Ingathering of the Jewish Exiles From the 4 Corners of the World
It says in Ezekiel 34:13a, "And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them."
This month, for the first time, Israel has overtaken America to become the world's largest Jewish population center. The surge in the Jewish community is thought to have been fueled by returning members of the diaspora.
In addition, the total Jewish population has reached 6 million, which carries added significance as this was the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust.
Spiritual Partnership Between Jews and Christians
The State of Israel, however, was not born through Jewish toil alone. Rather, as prophesied in Ezra 6:14: "And they built, and finished it, according to the decree of the God of Israel and according to the decrees of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia." The state of Israel was birthed out of a spiritual partnership between Jews and non-Jews.
In biblical times, it was Cyrus' edict that allowed the people of Israel to return to the land of Israel and rebuild the Temple. In 1917, it was the British government's Balfour Declaration that turned the tide for the Jews in exile. Similarly, in 1948, when U.S. President Harry Truman recognized the state of Israel, he said, "I am Cyrus." In the cases of Cyrus, Balfour, Truman and now Trump, it was non-Jews serving as God's agents who facilitated the return of the Jewish people to their land.

The Jewish Roots of Thanksgiving – Interviews Available. Was the “American Dream” built upon a Biblical foundation? ISRAEL365

The Jewish Roots of Thanksgiving – Interviews Available
Was the “American Dream” built upon a Biblical foundation?
Every American kindergartner knows the story how the pilgrims on the Mayflower landed at Plymouth Rock in 1620 and gave thanks for their survival and success.  What most people don’t know, was that the pilgrims looked deeply toward the Bible for inspiration and established the Book of Books as the foundation for the New World.
No other group in history had ever felt that they were reenacting and fulfilling the experience of the Biblical Israelites as did America’s first settlers.

Bridges for Peace President Receives Jerusalem Covenant Award
Rev. Rebecca J. Brimmer 'has worked tirelessly to build relationships between Christians and Jews in Israel and around the world'

November 7, 2017 ------- Rev. Rebecca J. Brimmer, International President and CEO of Bridges for Peace (BFP), last week received the Jerusalem Covenant Award from Israel365. The award was presented, along with a commemorative copy of the “Jerusalem Covenant” book, which contains the signatures of more than 150,000 Christian Zionists proclaiming they believe Jerusalem should be the eternal capital of the Jewish people and state.

The Jerusalem Covenant was bestowed on Nov. 2, as part of BFP and Israel365’s Balfour Day conference: “From Balfour to Nikki Haley: 100 Years of Christian Zionist Diplomacy."  Close to 200 people attended the event, which was meant to train BFP’s top international leadership to be ambassadors for Israel.

The “Jerusalem Covenant” was originally composed by Supreme Court justice Menachem Elon upon the 25th anniversary of Jerusalem Day in 1992 and rests today in the Knesset. Israel365 has collected over 150,000 signatures onto the Jerusalem Covenant from more than 100 nations, from Albania to Zimbabwe.

“As the head of Bridges for Peace, Becky has worked tirelessly and with a whole heart to build relationships between Christians and Jews in Israel and around the world,” Israel365 Founder and CEO Rabbi Tuly Weisz said. “Becky is an ideal representative to share this special edition of the Jerusalem Covenant, which represents a powerful display of international solidarity between the Biblical city of Jerusalem and the world.”

The last Jerusalem Covenant award was given to Deputy Minister Michael Oren by Israel365 on Jerusalem Day.

Today's Israel Inspiration

In Deuteronomy 16:14, Hashem commands the Children of Israel to rejoice on Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles. This year, Sukkot begins at sundown on October 4th.  In the days of the Temple, all the nations of the world ascended the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to offer the Sukkot sacrifices enumerated in the Torah. One of the highlights of the seven day Sukkot festival was the Celebration of Water-drawing, the 'Simkhat Bet Ha-Shoeva'. On a normal day, sacrifices offered by the Priests were accompanied by wine libations poured over the alter. On Sukkot, water, along with wine was poured over the alter in a special ritualistic ceremony which evoked tremendous joy, song, and dance among worshipers. While the Temple no longer stands in Jerusalem, Jews in Israel and abroad continue to observe the joyous holiday of Sukkot with festive meals, new clothing and elated spirits. Unfortunately, there are far too many Israelis who do not have the means to cover their basic living expenses let alone the costs associated with observing Sukkot in dignity and with joy.

Vesamakhta B'khagecha': Rejoice in Your Festival

Students from 'Boys Town Jerusalem' perform this great rendition of a song from the words of Deuteronomy 16:14. These students yield from disadvantaged homes, but focus their energies on academic achievement and spiritual growth.

Was Moses Forecasting What Herzl Would Do With Modern State of Israel?

At the 120th anniversary celebration of the First Zionist Congress on Wednesdayevening on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Netanyahu highlighted the prophetic aspects of the State of Israel, namely, that the events in the Torah are a forecast of what will occur in the modern Jewish State.
