Israeli Ambassador Meets Rex Tillerson, Netanyahu Invites US Secretary of State to Israel - Yossi Aloni ISRAEL TODAY

Israeli Ambassador Meets Rex Tillerson, Netanyahu Invites US Secretary of State to Israel

Wednesday, February 15, 2017 |  Yossi Aloni  ISRAEL TODAY
Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, got a chance to personally congratulate new US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on the day of his confirmation when both men attended the National Prayer Breakfast earlier this month.
Danon was among some 100 foreign dignitaries invited to the annual event.
Danon and Tillerson discussed Israel’s treatment at the UN, and the Israeli thanked the Trump Administration for appointing as its new ambassador to the UN former governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley, who has vowed unwavering defense of the Jewish state.
On Tuesday, shortly after touching down in Washington, DC for his first meeting with President Trump, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu invited Tillerson to visit Israel in the near future to continue their discussions on pressing matters such as Iran.

Trump's Secretary of State Affirms Strong Support for Israel - Israel Today

Trump's Secretary of State Affirms Strong Support for Israel

Thursday, January 12, 2017 |  Israel Today Staff
Incoming US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Wednesday voiced strong support for Israel in his new role.
That was something of a relief. Tillerson was previously CEO of Exxon Mobil, and had for years done business with some of Israel’s Middle East foes.
But at his Senate confirmation hearing, Tillerson made no qualms about labeling Israel “our most important strategic partner in the region.”
He even took aim at outgoing Secretary of State John Kerry for being so hostile toward the Jewish state.
“The secretary’s speech, which followed that UN resolution (condemning the presence of Jews in areas claimed by the Arabs), I found quite troubling because of the attacks on Israel and in many ways undermining the government of Israel itself in terms of its own legitimacy and the talks,” said Tillerson.
When it comes to US foreign policy under Trump, Tillerson affirmed that “Israel is, has always been and remains our most important ally in the region. I think in the Trump administration, the president-elect already made it clear and, if I’m confirmed, I agree entirely and will support (Israel).”

Nine Members of Trump’s Cabinet Identify As Devout Christians - HelloChristian

Nine Members of Trump’s Cabinet Identify As Devout Christians

HelloChristian  Dec. 16, 2016
President-elect Donald Trump has now appointed nine members to the White House, each of whom profess publicly to be Christians. Is this a huge answer to prayer?
“For many years, we have prayed that God would raise up men and women of God to positions of leadership and influence in our country. However, since the end of the George W. Bush administration, there have been previous few answers to that prayer," writes Author and Pastor David Murray. "Who would have thought that Donald Trump might be the answer to that prayer?”
At the heart of these appointments is Vice President Mike Pence who has previously said “My Christian faith is at the heart of who I am” and “I’m a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order." Then there is Chief of Staff Reince Preibus, who has previously tweeted "Christ’s sacrificial work provides an example for us all, and we join with the Psalmist in saying ‘You make known to me the path of life.’"
Then we've got Attorney General Jeff Sessions (who is a Sunday school teacher at his family’s church), and Housing and Urban Development’s Dr. Ben Carson, who believes that God spoke clearly to him that Trump would be president.
Further to this, there is Education’s Betsy DeVos, a Christian committed to bringing God's 'Kingdom' through schooling. Then we have newly-announced Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, EPA’s Scott Pruitt, CIA’s Mike Pompeo (whose family attends Eastminster Presbyterian Church), and Ambassador to UN Nikki Haley. They are all Christians!

The number of believers in the upper echelons of the Trump administration is quite incredible. Share this to encourage others!
