How to Let Your Christmas Joy Come Completely From Holy Spirit - RUTH LOPEZ WHITFIELD CHARISMA NEWS

How to Let Your Christmas Joy Come Completely From Holy Spirit

RUTH LOPEZ WHITFIELD  CHARISMA NEWS
It's that time again. What Andy Williams and other classic singers crooned to be "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year." Malls and stores are filled with holiday decorations, music, assorted Santas, endless sales people wooing you to buy their products and scrumptious smells of holiday food. But is it really the most wonderful time of the year?
I watched and listened as a guest on the Fox News channel said she hated the season, and especially the Christmas carols. You see, what brings joy to one is an irritant to another. She said it reminded her and others as well of what they don't have. Seeing the happy faces of family and friends getting together just emphasizes the loneliness many feel during the holiday season. Jewelry stores show people with that special someone giving and receiving the gift that lasts forever—diamonds. What if you are one who is away from loved ones and comes home after work to an empty apartment? It's lonely.
Everyone around you seems to be having a wonderful time, but you are left with the realization that you are missing out somehow. The sadness seems unbearable. We trained ourselves in this society to look for happiness in the wrong places. We look to what we have or receive and when that doesn't do it we look for that special someone to make us happy.
Joy is not found in the season, and fulfillment doesn't come because it's a certain time of year. People searching for it there end up being disappointed and disillusioned.

When I was a young child, I was taught, like many children, that Christmas Eve was special because Santa was coming and would leave me my heart's desire. I remember looking out of my bedroom window to the sky to see if I could get a glimpse of Santa, his sleigh and reindeer. I was told I had to fall asleep so that he would come. I may not have been the most obedient child, but that night, I was extra good. Christmas morning came, and I bounded out of bed to see what Santa brought me. I loved Santa. I adored him. After all, he loved me whether I was bad or good, because he left me presents. The most important part of Christmas was Santa and the presents. That is still true for some people.
The worse part was the story of baby Jesus. Anything having to do with Jesus was dark green, grey and brown. Santa was red, white, glittery and joyous. Jesus was so sad. He was born in a smelly stable because there was no room at the inn. Then Herod ordered babies killed, and Mary and Joseph fled with Jesus to Egypt for protection. How could God let this happen? God knew everything but still let that happen. As a child, my adoration went to Santa, not God. I did not see or feel God's love, but I did feel Santa's.
So deep was my faith that when some classmates of a different faith said that there was no Santa, I fought them tooth and nail. I organized my fellow Santa believers, and war broke out in our second-grade classroom. Our teacher came to our defense and assured everyone that Santa was indeed real. Even at that young age, I fought for what I believed (a characteristic that remains with me at the ripe old age of 78).
When I met the Lord as my Lord and Savior and grew in intimacy with Him, I grieved over my childhood adoration. It was sincere, but it was misplaced. I struggled for years with whether anything I had been taught was really true. Is the Bible true? Is Jesus real? Does God really love us so much that He sent His Son to pay the price for our sin? I realize that not all children respond the way I did, but it made me extra cautious during the Christmas season when sharing holiday traditions with my children. I made sure we emphasized God's gift to the world, and differentiated between fantasy fun and God's truth.
For many, it's been a rough year. They have lost jobs, homes and loved ones. After all, we live in turbulent times. We never know what will happen from one day to the next. But we can trust in these truths: God remains faithful, and His Word is true.
You'll not find joy in a season, in things, in people or in a person. That only comes in the Holy Spirit. He alone will bring total fulfillment, satisfaction and joy. Whether it's the holiday season, winter or tax season, God has provided us with one who will never leave us or forsake us and who will fulfill every desire of our heart. This Christmas, look up and thank God for His indescribable gift because you won't find joy in anything but Him.
Prayer Power for the Week of Dec. 17, 2018
This week as Christmas approaches, ask the Lord to order your steps so that you don't become overwhelmed by what needs to be done. Make sure you set your priorities to take time for Him first, then step by step, do what He requires each day. Continue to pray for revival, for directions in how to be a blessing to others during this time, and for our leaders. Remember our military, our allies and Israel. Read: Isaiah 7:14, 9:6; Galatians 4:4.

Dutch Sheets: "Prepare for Victory! 2019 will Bring a Great Surge of Power and Momentum"

The Elijah List Dec 17, 2018

Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
Once in awhile, I make a comment on who I pay the most attention to when they prophesy.
Not every prophet is on the same level both in maturity and also in accuracy. But Dutch Sheets is one who I listen to VERY CAREFULLY!
Though he may not consider himself to be so, he is truly an ISSACHAR prophet—knowing the times and seasons and TIMING of the Lord.
It's a prophet who, when giving the next year's prophetic word, also prophetically summarizes the LAST year we are closing out. That is why I love this word so much and that is why I follow Dutch Sheets so closely.
This is a Word from the Lord you SHOULD forward to as many friends as you can! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

I believe 2017-2018 will go down in history as "turning point years" for America. Certainly, there have been other crossroad seasons in our nation's 240 years of existence: but these two years have been epochal. The exposing of the Deep State, certainly not complete but at least begun; the confrontation and interruption under the leadership of President Trump of the left's mad dash to globalism, secularism and amoralism; halting the suicidal weakening of our military; the determination of millions of Americans to recapture our roots and our destiny; and the beginning of shifting control of America from government back to the people starting with the courts. All these events have made this season pivotal.
A Prophetic Warning from Jefferson
America's judicial system has long been its Achilles heel. This shift alone could be instrumental in saving America. Thomas Jefferson warned of the dangers of an out-of-control judicial branch 200 years ago!
"The Constitution is a mere thing of wax in the hands judiciary, which they may twist and shape into any form they please. It should be remembered, as an axiom of eternal truth in politics, that whatever power in any government is independent, is absolute also..."(A letter to Judge Spencer Roane, 1819). (Photo via Dutch Sheets)
"You seem to consider the judges as ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions, a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy...The Constitution has erected no such single tribunal, knowing that to whatever hands confided, with the corruptions of time and party, its members would become despots. It has more wisely made all the departments co-equal and co-sovereign within themselves..." (A letter to Mr. Jarris, 2810).
Jefferson's warnings proved to be prophetic. A despot is a tyrant or oppressor with absolute, unlimited power. This certainly describes what has happened in our judiciary. Many left-leaning judges in America are trying to rule over and change our nation with their usurping and unconstitutional decrees.
Mercifully, the turning of the judiciary has begun. Thank God for the tenacity of President Trump and the Republican-led Senate in this regard. The curse is being reversed.
Awakening and Reformation
America also entered a "new era" of spiritual awakening and reformation in 2017-2018. When speaking of these two spiritual breakthroughs, I always make a distinction between them; it is possible to have one without the other. When the Great Commission of Mark 16:15-18 is being fulfilled with great momentum—salvations, deliverances, healings, Holy Spirit baptisms, etc., we consider this an awakening or revival, as this saves, transforms and restores individuals.
Can't You Talk Louder, God?
On the other hand, when Matthew's Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) is accomplished, discipling nations according to the teachings of Christ—this is reformation which saves, transforms and restores regions and nations.
In the Charismatic Movement of the 60s and 70s, millions were saved, healed and baptized in the Holy Spirit (awakening). YET, there was no discipling of our society and nation (reformation). The result of this failure, ironically, was a gain in salvations but a loss in Kingdom influence (the honoring of God and His ways declined in society). We actually regressed spiritually in every aspect of American life. It has always amazed me that a nation could experience one of the greatest outpourings of Holy Spirit in history, yet when all was said and done, we lost ground spiritually!
Thankfully, another great awakening has begun in America. And I have great hope that the coming season of revival will produce far different results. There are a growing number of Christians who believe the Church is Christ's Kingdom government (Ekklesia) on Earth and, as such, has both the assignment AND ability to disciple nations according to His commission in Matthew's Gospel. (Photo via Dutch Sheets)
Influencing the Seven Mountains
This current emphasis by Holy Spirit on influencing the 7 mountains of society (Family, Religion, Arts and Entertainment, Government, Business, Education and Media) is an example. This teaching, first taught in the 70s by Bill Bright of Campus Crusade For Christ and Loren Cunningham of Youth With A Mission, did not gain any real momentum at the time. Believers simply did not have the faith or frankly, the theology necessary to embrace such a radical concept. Thankfully, this has changed and many now embrace the teaching.
The importance of this understanding cannot be exaggerated. It will fully restore America's purpose and destiny, not only as an international voice of the Gospel (Mark's commission), but also as a discipling light to the nations (Matthew's commission).
As we enter 2019, prepare yourself for an even greater surge of spiritual power and momentum. The best days of the Church and of America are not in our past—they are in our future.
Be encouraged...and prepare for victory! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)
Sincerely,

God's Entire Purpose for Israel in One Sentence - REVIVE ISRAEL/TAL HARONI CHARISMA NEWS

(Pixabay/Skeeze)
Here's how I would summarize the plan of God in one sentence: God created and destined the world to be perfect in His sight, so that everything would reflect His goodness and bring Him glory.
When God thought of you, He saw you in your fullness. He saw you in your perfect state. He saw something worth dying for.
His plan is to bring us into our full potential. By experiencing the ups and downs of life, we discover more of who we are and where we are falling short of the glory of God. Through it all, we grow into the knowledge of God and become more and more the original self He created us to be.
Yeshua came to lift us above the things this world tells us to be. He came to reveal who we really are and redeem us. He redeems our human nature, our past, our family culture and basically, anything that goes against our God-given identity.

National Redemption
Yet, His plan is greater than you and I; it's greater than anything we can hope or imagine. God is also in the business of saving and redeeming nations. Have you considered what your nation will look like in its' full state of redemption? What was the original plan of God for your nation?
Eventually, everything that has breath will praise the Lord (Ps. 150:6), including your nation, tribe, tongue and people (Rev 7:9-10). Though we've been taught in school how nations were formed, and about the political developments that took place in order for it to happen, God was always involved. Just as God has a unique calling for every individual, He also has a specific calling for every nation.
Most of the time we find it hard to see the God-given call over our nation. I look at the people driving on the highway, and it's a far cry from reflecting God's goodness on earth. I look at the corruption in our government, in our army, and it's hard to believe God has not given up already.
Yet, if God created it, it has a calling. Let's not let our history or our unredeemed culture define our nation's calling. God is working the redemption of our nation through the believing remnant in every nation, tribe and tongue.
Israel the Missing Piece
For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, lest you be wise in your own estimation, for a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
"The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will remove ungodliness from Jacob" (Rom. 11:25-26).
What if the mystery Paul is talking about here, the fullness of the Gentiles, is actually the redemption of every nation? What if it's not about the exact number of people coming into the kingdom, but about every people group reaching a full measure of transformation?
If this is true, then we can't ignore Israel. After all, this is where it all started. With one group of people, one family, one nation chosen by God to show the world His glory, His mercy and His righteousness. What if the missing piece is Israel?
I see it as a cycle—God wanted to have all nations in His kingdom. He never wanted anyone left out. He wants everyone to see and experience His glory. So first, He showed who He is to Israel, and then at the right time He opened the way for everyone else. But the people of Israel had to be "hardened" in order for each and every nation to discover God.
Now, it's all coming back: the nations, the Gentiles, as they begin to enter into the fullness of their redeemed cultures. As they walk in their God-given fullness, they call the people of Israel back to their God-given calling. When the nations reflect God's goodness, the people of Israel can be redeemed too. This is how we will see the world fully redeemed, and walking in its full potential as God intended it to be.
