How Christians Lose Credibility With Israelis

When Israel is forced into military action such as Operation “Pillar of Cloud” in Gaza, the churches are always quick to respond.
For Israelis, outlandish condemnations by mainstream Church leadres send a clear message that Christians are opposed tothe Jewish state. There is no differentiation between Catholics and Protestants; from an Israeli point of view they are speaking for all Christians.
Many Israelis are unaware of the worldwide support for Israel among born-again Christians who stand on God’s Word and promises to the Jewish people. Negative statements against Israel by senior clergy are reminiscentof Church history and cause all Christians to lose credibility in the eyes of the Jews. And once lost, such credibility is difficult to win back.
