Jerusalem Inspiration Shani Winter was only six months old when she survived a terrorist attack in the center of Tel Aviv in 1997. Her mother, Anat Rosen-Winter, was killed along with two others, and 48 people were injured in the attack. A photograph of a policewoman carrying Shani from the wreckage became widely known and was published in many newspapers. Seventeen years later, Shani enlisted in the IDF, accompanied by the same police officer.
