Hebrew Music Monday ✡ "Growing Up and Bettering Himself"

Today's Israel Inspiration As our verse describes, the righteous Samuel grew up in the service of God, and found favor in all those around him. He went on to annoint the first Kings of Israel, Saul and David. Today in Israel, foster children are placed in loving homes to "grow up and better themselves." Yet as their childhood ends, they are out of the system and on their own. At 18, they enter the army as lone soldiers, with no home to return to on days off, no extra finances to bolster meager army stipends, and no one to call for support.
