In the cities of the hill-country, in the cities of the Lowland, and in the cities of the South, and in the land of Binyamin, and in the places about Yerushalayim, and in the cities of Yehudah, shall the flocks again pass under the hands of him that counteth them, saith Hashem. Today's Israel Inspiration Today's verse is a prophecy told by Jeremiah who relayed God's message that despite the unimaginable destruction experienced by the Jews who lived in that time, and having witnessed the horrific burning of the Holy Temple, there would once again be a day when the people of Israel will inhabit all the corners of the Holy Land, from north to south, east and west.
