The Divine Strength Within ✡ "Hashem Saveth" - ISRAEL365

And that all this assembly may know that Hashem saveth not with sword and spear; for the battle is Hashem’s, and He will give you into our hand.

Today's Israel Inspiration

When King David went out to battle against the enemies of Israel, he did so with a heart set on winning the battle as an emissary of God. He prayed passionately and his heart was filled with an intense love for God, willing to do whatever was needed and whatever was right. Although the words “shield of David”, best recognized as the “Star of David” are never mentioned in the Bible directly, the words in this Biblical quote give direct inference to God being the shield and protector of Israel. Further, King David stated that the battle being fought was not won by swords and spears, but through God's might, proving the Almighty as the true strength and protection for Israel. Wear this message proudly with your very own Star of David pendant!

One of the most well-recognized landmarks in ancient Jerusalem, the Tower of David proudly stands watch over the Holy City. As we prepare to enter a new week after an invigorating Sabbath, David's Tower is a symbol of everlasting strength and the will to succeed.

Every night when I pray for peace in South Africa, I also pray Shalom for Israel and Jerusalem. I am a pensioner, with a very small pension, so I cannot plant a tree in Israel. But YHV knows the future, maybe soon I will! I am going to try to learn Hebrew. Shalom, Hester (hettie) de Bruin Whelan
