Nov. 16, 2016  THE ELIJAH LIST

"Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations... Instead of bronze I will bring you gold, and silver in place of iron. Instead of wood I will bring you bronze, and iron in place of stones. I will make peace your governor and well-being your ruler. No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise. The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory." Isaiah 60:15, 17-19

 Rebuilding America

America is in a massive rebuilding process. Old structures and systems are toppling, as God is establishing the new. Things can quickly get messy when old structures are being torn down; debris is scattered and what used to be standing is no more. Likewise, I believe the Bride of Christ is also in a season of rebuilding. 

As we deal with the issues that rise to the surface and allow the Lord to purify our hearts, we will become prepared and ready for the change that God is desiring to bring. 

Things will look worse in the beginning before they can get better, but the tearing down of the old is vital so that the new foundation can be established.

As it has been said, the Lord has chosen Donald Trump to be His wrecking ball. God is going to use this next president to bulldoze a system that will no longer be efficient in this season. The Lord is raising up Trump in this specific hour; He has placed within this man a warrior's spirit that will refuse to fear and be intimidated by politics or human agenda.

I hear God saying:

"I have given Donald Trump the ability to set his face like flint (Isaiah 50:7) and not be afraid of the mess or stirring up the tradition of man.
 "With any tear-down, at first, there is debris everywhere. However, after hard work, a new structure is built where the rubble once was. My hand is on Donald Trump and on this country, and I have raised up a leader for such a time as this.I have given him a strong backbone and have placed a fearless spirit within him. Trust what I am doing through this man, and continue to keep your hearts in a posture of prayer and intercession.

"There will be a religious spirit that will attempt to rise up. It is very important to have eyes to see and ears to hear what I am doing in this season. My plans and purposes shall surely come about. Trust the process and do not fear, even among the greatest shaking. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.' (Isaiah 55:9).

"I am laying down a new foundation. There will be much resistance, as many will be opposed to the change. Do not fear what feels like the shaking of the Church, government, and those in authority. Once more, I am shaking everything in this world that can be shaken (Hebrews 12:26-27). However, know that I am in control; the end result will be good. For I know the plans I have for you, and this nation. They are plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

 "This is a strategic time in America, and I am calling you to let your roots go down deeper into Me. Stay close to Me during this hour. Press into Me like never before, people of God! If you look only at what's happening in the natural, you will be shaken. Keep your eyes locked on Me. Trusting Me with all of your heart, and leaning not on your own understanding. In all of your ways acknowledge My Name, and you will see goodness manifest, even in the mess."  

Keep Your Eyes Focused On Jesus

We have had a great victory in this country. Yet even in the victory and celebration, do not be lulled back to sleep. There is still much work to be done. The enemy is not happy that godly principles are being defended. While we are not to fear, we are to be wise and in tune with what is going on in the spirit realm. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that you may stand strong.

"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

I sense that the Lord's heart is urging us to walk in love and unity during this time of great transition, even when many feel vulnerable and raw. "Above all, guard your own heart, for it is the wellspring of life" (Proverbs 4:23).

God is wanting to encourage us during this time of great change, shaking, and rebuilding. As we abide in Him, we have nothing to fear! The Lord is in the process of rebuilding. We will see and know restoration as we embrace the change and align ourselves with what He is doing in this season. Our greatest hour is upon us! What an exciting time it is to be alive, for the best is yet to come.

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn" (Isaiah 60:1-3).
