Today's Israel Inspiration

On December 17, 2001, David Rubin and his then 3-year-old son Ruby were driving home from Jerusalem when a hail of terrorists’ bullets struck their car, seriously injuring them both. Surviving by sheer miracle, David felt an obligation to help others. "Terrorists had intended it for evil, but God turned it around for good," he says. Just as in today's verse when King David recognizes and thanks the Almighty for saving him many times, David Rubin went on to start Shiloh Israel Children's Fund to ease the trauma of terrorism in children, as his way of thanking God for saving him and his young son from the evil of terror.
