Hello Steve,

How are you? It’s good to hear from you.

Things are changing very fast and with far reaching impact.

I did my late Bar Mitzvah last year and after that, I was blessed to become the shomer of an original handwritten Torah scroll.

We received it as a gift from a rabbi in Yerushalayim.

It is a scroll that came out of Europe during World War II to save it from the Germans. And now it is the first scroll to go out from Yerushalayim into the Netherlands after the rebirth of Israël in 1948.

We think it is one of many signs that the time of the Messiah is very nearby. Yerushalayim is again the center of the world. And the Word of Adonai is going out of it to the Gentiles.

We are so grateful and therefore the only task left is announcing the Kingdom of Adonai Eloheinu.

On July 9, 2017, Peter wrote back in an email after my word to him about this being such a joy.

It is!! Every day we open this scroll and read it in His original version The Lord opens new perspectives of the Messiah and what He did and who He is.

If one reads the first sentence of the Book, everyone reads:
"In the beginning, God created ...... etc"

But, if you look further into it, in the original version, you can read it also as: "By giving the Head (or the most important; which is Yeshua) God created ....." or another way to translate it is: “The Son confirmed the Creation of God through...

Love For His People Note:

Peter and I have been good friends since we met each other at a Vision for Israel/The Joseph Storehouse Sukkot Celebration, with Barry and Batya Segal, in Jerusalem. It must have been in the fall of 2006 or 2007, during the Feast of Tabernacles. Either at Ramat Rachel in southeast Jerusalem or Yad HaShmona just west of Jerusalem. (Do you remember, Peter, the time and location?)

Peter was heading up the work of the humanitarian ministry in The Netherlands while I was the USA Director of the same in Charlotte, North Carolina. I remember Peter helping me count the offering after one meeting, and we had a joy trying to put the different foreign currencies into separate envelopes for proper accounting. Seeing all the nations represented in Jerusalem was the real joy!

Over the years we have stayed connected as best we can. And yes, my good friend Peter, we will see each other again in Yerushalayim. Sooner than later!

We bless Yeshua HaMashiach!

Shalom,
