YouTube's shocking announcement that could end free speech

There is a massive problem with social media sites deciding what speech to control and which opinions to block. It is difficult to believe that these businesses will be partial and, especially since Facebook employees admitted that the company instructed its programmers to block right-wing news from its news feed. Similarly, YouTube will likely fail in remaining faithfully objective when it censors certain videos. And YouTube is partnering with the wrong organizations and governments to achieve its goal.
