UPDATED: Gaza Fires 100 Rockets at Israel; Three IDF Soldiers Wounded

Most of the rockets fired by terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday failed to cause any damage or casualties in Israel, thanks in large part to the Iron Dome anti-missile system.
But one rocket that did find a target ended up hitting the power line via which Israel provides Gaza with most of its electricity.
Extensive damage to the line means large parts of the Gaza Strip are now without electrical power, a situation that the Palestinians will no doubt try to blame on Israel.
The Israeli government ordered the Israel Electric Company to fix the line, but only after the current violence subsides so as to not put any of the workers' lives in danger.

During its retaliatory strikes on terrorist targets in Gaza, Israeli forces destroyed what they are calling a "unique" Hamas terror tunnel.
The tunnel, which extended two kilometers, went into Egypt before turning back into southern Israel to bypass Israeli border defenses.

Three Israeli soldiers have reportedly been wounded during multiple barrages of mortar shells and short-range rockets fired by terrorist forces operating out of the Gaza Strip.
At least 50 mortars and rockets have been fired into southern Israel today.
Israel has so far responded with targeted artillery and aerial strikes on terrorist positions in Gaza, but officials are hinting that the volatile coastal enclave could be facing a far more severe Israeli response if the escalation continues.
