Subject: A Letter of Gratitude and Deep Appreciation

We would like to express our deepest, sincerest, and heartfelt gratitude — a gratitude that

simply cannot be measured in words alone.

On May 27, 2026, a tragic and painful incident occurred when an explosive drone struck a

vehicle carrying members of the emergency response squad from Moshav Goren, who had

been called to assist in firefighting efforts. In this difficult incident, we lost soldier Rotem

Yanai of blessed memory, while two of our reserve soldiers — Tamir and Yakir, residents of

Moshav Goren — were moderately and severely injured.

Amid the immense pain, one truth stands clear and powerful:

The helmets they were wearing saved their lives.

Only one month before this incident, the emergency response squad in Goren received new

helmets generously donated by you. At that moment, no one could have imagined the tragedy

that was approaching — yet your donation transformed from protective equipment into

something much greater: a lifesaving gift.

You may be geographically far away, but in moments like these, we understand just how

close you truly are — to our hearts, to our community, and to our fighters.

Our sons and daughters stand on the front lines day and night, protecting border communities,

residents living along the frontier, and the homes of us all with their own bodies and courage.

Knowing that there are people who see them, support them, and stand alongside them gives

us strength, hope, and security.

On behalf of the families of the fighters, the residents of Goren, and everyone living this

complex reality along the border, we want to say:

Thank you for becoming part of a story of saving lives.
