Who is Righteous? ✡ "The Land Allotted To The Righteous" - Israel365

The scepter of the wicked shall never rest upon the land allotted to the righteous, that the righteous not set their hand to wrongdoing. Psalms 135:21 (The Israel Bible™) כִּי לֹא יָנוּחַ שֵׁבֶט הָרֶשַׁע עַל גּוֹרַל הַצַּדִּיקִים לְמַעַן לֹא־יִשְׁלְחוּ הַצַּדִּיקִיםבְּעַוְלָתָה יְדֵיהֶם Hear the verse in Hebrew kee lo ya-NU-akh she-vet ha-ra-SHA al go-RAL ha-tza-DEE-keem le-MA-an lo YEESH-le-khu ha-tza-DEE-keem be-av-la-ta ya-DAY-hem Who is Righteous? Yerushayim (Jerusalem) is not only filled with righteousness, it even causes its its residents to be righteous and just. The Ramban (nachmanides), in his commentary (Genesis 14:18), points out that from time immemorial, the nations of the world have recognized the uniqueness of Yerushalayim. Physically, Yerushalayim is in a prime location at the center of the country.  Spiritually, they knew it is aligned with the heavenly Temple where God’s spirit dwells on high, and is the site He selected for the Beit Hamikdash (Holy Temple).
