Whom Do We Fear?

 

My friend from a Muslim country sent me this photo today and said how fearful it is for a believer (see below) especially one who supports Israel, to live among them. He himself was born and raised there.

I personally have no idea how this must feel, having lived, born and raised, these 71 years in the USA. And yet I believe that time is coming for those who do stand for the Living God of Israel and His people in their Land.

 

My first response to his WhatsApp message for this verse from the Torah (Bible). It is the Lord whom we must fear (have profound respect, and yet actually know that He will not tolerate hatred and evil forever.

 

Leviticus 19:32

‘You shall stand up in the presence of the grayheaded and honor elders, and you shall fear your God; I am the Lord.”

 

Growing up in a  Midwest home of eight kids, cared for by a good father and mother, church going, they built a strong foundation in my life, and a deep love for the Lord. That has only grown stronger over the years.

So, I enouraged my friend to stand strong. His times, and his wife and daughter, are in Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) hands. He will never leave him or forsake him.

Though the evil one will continue to seek, to kill, steal and destroy, until his judgment day comes, all who believe in the Lord will need to give an account. May we be faithful and true to Him and His Word to our final days.
