Darren Canning: "The 123 Season - The Promise Has to Come to Pass!" - THE ELIJAH LIST

Darren Canning: "The 123 Season - The Promise Has to Come to Pass!"

Oct 24, 2017  THE ELIJAH LIST
Steve Shultz     From the desk of Steve Shultz:
If you have been in times of waiting, either for a season or for years...you really need to grasp this fresh word by Darren Canning of Canada.
In this, he share about the waiting time, and how God's promises DO come to pass while we faithfully serve and grow in the process.
Darren shares this edifying word:
When God speaks, what He says is done in His mind. God has all of time in His hands. There is no wrestling within the mind of God with what is in the beginning and what is in the end. When He says that it will come to pass, it is like He is saying, "IT HAS COME TO PASS." His gaze just stretches a little further along than our own.
Amen to that... Enjoy this word by Darren! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Psalm 123
Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He has mercy on us. Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us! For we are exceedingly filled with contempt. Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorn of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.
It's a 123 season. Many times, I have seen this number combination on a clock, billboard or license plate. Every time I see it, there is an excitement as if something fresh was about to begin. For me, 123 is the essence of Get Ready, Get Set and Go. This word from the Lord to me comes with an expectation that something new is about to begin – like a new door is going to open or a new feeling in my life is about to emerge. It is a springtime number or a new beginnings number.
"And so, even while we wait for the consummation of the promise, we do so because He convinces us that what He said WOULD happen."
Many of us have been prophesying for a long time that there is a revival coming to the nations that will be unprecedented. The prophet Bob Jones died in the 1970s and had an encounter with Heaven before the Lord sent him back to his body. While in Heaven, the Lord told him that He was sending Bob back to the earth to prepare the generation God was going to use to bring in the one billion soul harvest.
Prophesying Hope in the Midst of Adversity
It seems that the Christian voice is the minority voice in North America, so to prophesy reformation and revival in the face of the Antichrist spirit of our time can be draining, especially since many of us have been doing so for more than 20 years. There are times when I stand and a spirit of prophecy comes upon me and I begin to declare, "Reformation is coming."
If I'm to be honest with you, sometimes I feel conflicted doing this. This prophecy (which I declare and form by faith over the dry bones of modern man), doesn't seem to be coming to pass. I feel like a motorcyclist who is using the kick-start but it doesn't seem to be working...yet.
But God has convinced me that He is real. He has convinced me that He can do anything He says that He is going to do. When God speaks, what He says WILL come to pass. Even though we may grow frustrated, we just have to continue to wait upon the Master's hand.
Psalm 123 (written above) is very interesting to me. It seems to be about the merging of anticipation and waiting. The servant may have to wait a long time, but the Master is the Master. The servant's function is to serve. He/she has no choice but to wait. That is their job and just because the servant is waiting doesn't mean the Master will move any more quickly.
The Master moves when He wishes. We must be there when He wishes us to serve.

It is in the waiting that we truly become servants. The servant must serve when the Master is present and when He isn't present. The promise is that because we are servants we will always have something precious to do for the King. However, the servant that grows weary and leaves his/her post, isn't a good servant because sometimes service is more about waiting than anything else.
We are not the masters of our own fate or the captain of our own destinies. This function in our lives belongs to the King.
He is gracious and loving and brings us into fullness, but we must wait for our times and seasons.
ElijahList Prophetic Resources
The generation that we live in will not be passed by, but we who are born to intercede and declare must continue to do so until we see the harvest.
I want to be found faithful like Anna, the prophetess: "Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem." (Luke 2:36-38)
"When God speaks, what He says WILL come to pass."
Virgins were often married at about 15 or 16 years of age in ancient Israel. Some say that they were betrothed (or promised in marriage) as early as 12 years of age although they would wait longer to consummate the marriage. If Anna was married at 16 she would have been a widow by 23. For over 60 years she potentially fasted and prayed for the coming of the Messiah. The Lord impressed upon her that she would actually see His coming. She did not give up, although one wonders if she ever wavered in her longing.
The consummation of that longing was the infant child in her arms. She held Him in her oldest years. She held the promise in her arms! She most likely did not see Him become a man. She did not likely see Him on the Cross or His resurrection. However, she beheld the promise and believed in her heart.
There is something about the Word of the Lord in our heart that keeps us from wavering in the waiting. When we have heard His voice, it convinces us of the truth of that which is spoken. And so, even while we wait for the consummation of the promise, we do so because He convinces us that what He said WOULD happen. (Photo via Unsplash)
Perhaps you have heard Him speak a promise. Maybe you have even heard that revival is coming to the nations. I declare that in the waiting, you shall be refreshed. He will speak again. You will be found faithful in the temple when He appears. You are stronger than you think. Keep going, keep pursuing, keep the faith.

A New Door Has Opened by Doug Addison - Identity Network

A New Door Has Opened by Doug Addison - Identity Network

A Door Opened in the Spiritual Realm

I released a prophetic word in May about sudden changes coming and the Wind of Change angel. During the weekend of May 30, a new door opened in the spiritual realm that is going to usher in a new season of radical changes for the good.

We had two earthquakes in Southern California and I not only felt both of them, God spoke to me during the shaking.

The first one was on Friday May 30, a 3.8 that was centered in San Pedro (Saint Peter, the rock). I heard the Holy Spirit say to "prepare for something new." It occurred at 8 PM and 8 represents new beginnings. God is going to "rock" things and radical change is on the way.

I felt compelled to "prepare" so I bought some earthquake preparedness items. On Sunday, June 1 just before 8 PM and just as I was installing earthquake straps on our new television, another earthquake rocked the Los Angeles area. These were very mild earthquakes and there was no damage. It was a prophetic sign of something new coming. This is not a judgment word. The first earthquake was 3.8 and the second one happened as I was strapping down my "tell-a-vision". This is symbolic that God is bringing new visions and a new foundation for the way to bring these new visions into reality.

Because the earthquakes both initially registered 3.8, I was drawn to Revelation 3:8 that says:
"I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name."

Doors represent new opportunities and seasons. New strength and spiritual authority is coming to those who are weak and have been holding on to prophetic words and promises. The new door has opened and we can expect to see things pick up. I want to share a few things I have learned about responding to something of this magnitude.

Things Often Looks Opposite

As God is on the move and opening news doors, keep in mind that things quite often look like the opposite just before a breakthrough. I keep mentioning this to people because it is crucial to understand this right now. As God is releasing something new in your life don't be surprised if the enemy comes and tries to distract you.

A mesmerizing type of spirit is working overtime to get you to look at your problems and not solutions. Old thoughts and behaviors may have recently surfaced and during a time we should be excited, we end up feeling discouraged!
We have to be careful that we don't come into agreement with the attack of the enemy.

"Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." Matthew 18:18-19 NIV

Here's some good news: stay the course and you will break through the fog. June gloom will lift and July through September will have a different feel and spiritual freedom will come.

Limits are Being Removed

God is limitless so what you can do through His love, power, and strength has no limits as well! You have access to everything you need to succeed. You have peace with God, the power that raised Jesus from the dead is in you and you have the Holy Spirit and God's network of angels. You God's word and promises and you have friends and people who love you and can pray with you! Yes, you have lots of resources so be sure to utilize them.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 NKJV

"… but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26 NIV

The Outcasts are Coming! The Outcasts are Coming!

I have been talking for a number of years about a move of God coming on those who have been outcast from Christianity. There is a group being held in reserve right now that will do things in the Spirit that will be astounding. Currently they don't fit in and they don't realize who they are just yet. Many of them seem hopeless. Some have grown up in church but got wounded and are drifting in life. Most of them feel deep inside there is something more for them to accomplish on Earth but they don't know what it is.

A few years ago God showed me that this group and this new movement coming is similar to Isaiah 44:

"For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams. Some will say, 'I belong to the LORD' others will call themselves by the name of Jacob; still others will write on their hand, 'The LORD's,' and will take the name Israel." Isaiah 44:3-5

There's a commitment level coming on a generation of people who have been living in a dry time. They will soon come on the scene and have an amazing commitment to the Lord. My entire ministry and life calling is to help these individuals who are "spiritual outcasts." They are already starting to rise up. They are not really in a particular age bracket but they are the best of the best being saved to come on the scene at the right time. What God is doing right now is starting outside of church buildings and it may look strange at first to those who don't have spiritual "eyes to see" as Jesus said.

If you know someone who fits the outcast description, maybe your children, grandchildren, or someone you love is seriously adrift, here's a promise from God to you for them:

This is what the Lord says: "Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded," declares the Lord. "They will return from the land of the enemy. So there is hope for your descendants," declares the Lord. "Your children will return to their own land." Jeremiah 31:16-17 NIV

The new is here! Expect to continue to see things happen at an accelerated pace. We are moving into a time that we can accomplish more with less effort. Keys for this new time are to stay at peace and let go of doubt and fear. Ask God to show you what you should focus on specifically for this time.

This is an amazing time to be alive!

Blessings,

2014: The Year of God's Goodness - MATT SORGER (Charisma Magazine)

2014 will be a year where the body of Christ walks into the manifest goodness of God. The Lord spoke to me that He was closing old doors and opening new ones.

The doors of your past, He is closing and sealing with the blood, never to be opened again. And He is opening a new door in front of you, a door that will lead you into the goodness of God. This year will be a year where you not only believe by faith to see the negative turn for your good, but you will walk into the manifestation of it. This will be a year where the goodness of God is manifested in your life.

Let Go of Offenses

It is vital to let go of all offense and unforgiveness and have a clear heart and spirit. The enemy seeks to stir up offenses to clog you up and hinder you from receiving the blessings God has for you. Choose to release and wipe the slate clean. You will be free to enter the new doors God opens.

An Invitation That Requires a Response

God is extending an invitation that requires a response. He is inviting us to the banqueting table in 2014. In Luke 14:16-23, a man is giving a great supper and inviting many to come. But those invited begin making excuses why they can’t make it. They are distracted by things such as land, possessions, and family. These are all good things!

But in this story they keep people from responding to the master’s invitation. So the master has his servant go into the streets to compel the blind and lame into the supper because he wants his house to be full. The issue with those who had temporal possessions was they lacked a felt need and their attention was taken by other things.

The poor and lame have a very strong felt need and they are the ones who respond to the invitation. It’s an invitation to sit at the supper table and feast. At a table you relax, fellowship and eat. It’s a place of communion with others. God is inviting us into a deeper place of fellowship with Himself. He’s inviting you to recline at His table. God’s inviting us to the table of goodness. But it requires a response.

A Table in the Presence of Your Enemies

Psalms 23:5-6 declares, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over. Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place” (AMP).

God is going to set a banqueting feast of His goodness before you this year. And it will be right in the presence of your enemies. God doesn’t always remove your enemies. Sometimes He leaves them there so they have to watch you get blessed! There will be nothing the enemy can do to stop it. The only things following you will be God’s goodness, mercy and love!

A fresh anointing is being released. God’s presence will be your insulating dwelling place. As God’s goodness, mercy and love overtake you, you will also be overtaken by His presence. You will not have just enough. But you will know God as the God of More than Enough! You will overflow with His anointing and you will be able to help those around you.

A New Infilling of God's Glory

As God manifests His goodness in your life you will also receive a deeper revelation of His glory. When Moses cried to see God’s glory in Exodus 33:19, God responded by saying He will make all His goodness pass before him. He also said He would proclaim His name and in doing so reveal His true character and nature to Moses. God reveals His glory, His very essence, which includes His mercy, grace, loving-kindness, truth, forgiveness and holiness. (Ex. 34:6-7) God’s glory is His goodness. His goodness is His nature.

Worship in Spirit and Truth

True worship attracts the glory of God. In 2014 God is aligning our perspective to accurately perceive the true nature of God. Circumstances will not dictate to you who God is. You will know God through His word. You will align your perspective and thoughts up with the reality that God is good. As you exalt His goodness and true character, you will also attract the tangible glory of God to your life.

In 2 Chron. 5, the priests lift up their voice in unity with the instruments and declare three specific things about God. God is good. His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever. Right after they make this declaration of worship, the house of God is filled with the tangible cloud of God’s glory. Exalting God’s true nature accurately will attract His glory and you will be a habitation!

Five Manifestations of God's Goodness for 2014

Psalms 107:1-2 declares, “O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!”

God’s goodness will bring the following 5 things.

Psalm 107:9: He will satisfy the longing soul and fill your hunger with GOOD. God will satisfy and fill the hungry with His goodness.

Psalm 107:16: He will break the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron apart. Deliverance is coming in 2014. This will be a year of God setting the captives free!

Psalm 107:20: He sends forth His word and heals and delivers from the pit and destruction. God’s goodness brings healing and deliverance. Align your thoughts and belief systems with God’s goodness and see His healing and freedom breakthrough.

Psalm 107:29: He hushes and stills the storms. God’s goodness causes the storms of distraction, conflict and turmoil to be calmed in your life. You will enter into a season of God’s peace and rest.

Psalm 107:35: He causes the wilderness and dry ground to become pools of water. God is sending His presence in a fresh way that will cause the dry grounds to be saturated with His living water. Every dry area of your life will be refreshed.

In 2014 God is making all things new. He is causing our faith, our vision, our experience of His presence and anointing, our prayer lives, everything. He’s causing it all to become like new!
