Israeli Nationalists Thank Muslim Leader For His Friendship - Israel Today

Israeli Nationalists Thank Muslim Leader For His Friendship

Wednesday, June 14, 2017 |  Israel Today Staff
The following is a portion of a press release from Turkish Muslim teacher Adnan Oktar, whose recent Ramadan gathering in Istanbul was attended by several leading Israeli nationalist figures.
This year’s event once again demonstrated that people of different cultures, identities and views could come together in an atmosphere of love and peace.
The guests of this special event were Jewish rabbis and Christian priests, politicians, the esteemed members of the Turkish Assyrian, Armenian, Jewish, Greek Orthodox and Catholic communities, as well as of the Jaffari, Alawite and Bekhtashi communities, the religious orders of the Nakshibendi and the Kadiri, the followers of the Treatise of Light (Nur), and National Vision (Milli Görüş) Movement.
One of the nicest gestures was the video message sent by Likud Party Knesset Member Rabbi Yehuda Glick to Mr. Adnan Oktar in celebration of Ramadan. Rabbi Glick began by saying, "My dear friend, honorary Mr. Adnan Oktar, champion of religious tolerance, champion of love to all human beings, champion of God in the world..."
Glick continued: "From the city of Jerusalem, chosen by God to be a city of peace, allow me to wish each and every one of you, blessings of success in bringing of God's light to all... We shall see on the Temple Mount, that House of Prayer, that unite all nations to One and Only God. From Jerusalem, allow me to wish you all Ramadan Kareem, from Jerusalem, the city of peace, city of Shalom."
During the day of the banquet, the Israeli delegation made a visit to the Jewish Museum of Turkey at the Neve Shalom Synagogue in Istanbul. Additionally, they toured the Bosphorus with the representatives of Mr. Adnan Oktar.
One of the guests, Mr. Yishai Fleisher, the international spokesman for the Jewish community in Hebron and an Israeli radio show host and writer, participated in Mr. Oktar’s live broadcast on A9 TV. He addressed Mr. Oktar saying, “I think that by you bringing us here today to Istanbul, you are part of that vision of connecting the peoples of the Middle East.”
Mr. Oktar replied, “People are more religious in Israel, that is a blessing for the entire region and the Islamic world. They are not aware that Jews are people of love. We all will be students of the King Moshiach, the King Messiah. The love for Moshiach brings blessings to Israel, this is a vital matter. God protects Israel from all troubles. If anyone attempts any harm against Israel, we will bring heavens down on them.”
Mr. Oktar made a request from the Israeli youth asking thousands of Jewish youth to come together and pray out loud for Moshiach’s coming.
Regarding Israel's presence in the Middle East, Mr. Oktar added, “God promised you to live on that land. You are a blessing for Muslims, but they can’t appreciate this.”

Marco Rubio destroys Anti-Israel hecklers, politicians at Friedman hearing… Israel Video Network

rubio-israel-email
“When David Friedman’s (Trump’s ambassador to Israel) confirmation hearing took place the other day, a gaggle of anti-Israel hecklers gathered to… well, heckle. And be unemployed. Most of the whinage came courtesy of an organization called J-Street. Rubio wasted no time in ripping them to shreds…” – Team Crowder
J-Street has been known for embracing murderers of Jews, and being blatantly anti-Israel.

David Friedman will restore the proper concept of right and wrong when discussing the Arab-Israel conflict.
Marco Rubio makes it patently clear why David Friedman, the incoming Ambassador to Israel, is the right person who will be confronting the anti-Israel State Department norms.

What Is God Saying to America in 2016? - J. LEE GRADY CHARISMA NEWS

The church must continue to build the bridge of racial reconciliation in 2016.
The church must continue to build the bridge of racial reconciliation in 2016. (United Methodist Church)
I've been accused of being a prophet, and I cringe every time because (1) I don't like the title, and (2) I'm not comfortable with the way some Christians put prophetic people on pedestals. The gift of prophecy is certainly needed today, but we should never turn prophets into celebrities or follow them like gurus. Nor should we cheapen prophecy by turning it into a Christian form of fortune telling.
True prophecy is the holy proclamation of God's will and purpose in a particular situation. It is possible to discern what God is saying to a specific church or even a nation. And I believe He is saying some very specific things to the United States. I do not claim to know every detail, nor is the list below complete. The Bible says "we prophesy in part" (1 Cor. 13:9)—and that's why other prophets should add what is missing.
I believe God is most definitely saying these things to us today:
1. We shouldn't look to politicians from either party to save us. At this point, unity among conservative Christian voters looks impossible—especially since most black churchgoers and a big percentage of Hispanic Christians will vote for the Democratic ticket. The bigger question is this: Regardless of whether we have Clinton, Rubio, Trump, Cruz, Carson or even Sanders, will the "right" president deliver our country from its problems? We've had both liberals and conservatives in the White House over the past three decades, but neither party has stopped our morals from sinking or our families from disintegrating. Only a sovereign intervention from heaven can help us now. We can vote our consciences, but we must look to God to heal America.
God is saying: "Ask Me for a spiritual awakening, not a political victory."
2. The church must be equipped to heal broken people like never before. The family has been fragmenting at an alarming rate over the past few decades—and the number of young people who grew up with a father and mother in the home has dwindled to a minority. This will have huge implications for the church in the next few years, and if we are not trained to handle the pain, the church will lose the battle. It is time for every church to prepare an army of healers. Christian marriages are in crisis. Sex addiction is rampant. The transgender movement, along with the Supreme Court's decision to redefine marriage, now poses huge new challenges for kids and teens today—and we cannot meet this test without the Holy Spirit's power. The church must train counselors to deal with divorce, abandonment, abuse, domestic violence, gender confusion, sexual perversion and all the other problems associated with family breakdown.
God is saying: "Heal the brokenhearted and give them My compassion!"
3. Aging churches must embrace change—and discard outdated religious baggage. A huge number of Bible-believing churches have already become irrelevant to the culture because they have refused to update their styles and reconfigure their methods. Our gospel is unchangeable, but our methods must adapt to the needs of people. We only have a window of time to make these changes; old wineskins will soon become useless. Denominations must be open to innovative leadership and new ideas—or their lamps will go out. It is a time for drastic measures. Churches that seek God for His new direction will enter into a new season of fruitfulness and growth.
God is saying: "The season of spiritual barrenness is over, if you seek Me. I will break the yoke of dead, dry religion and release a fresh anointing so you can reach your cities."
4. The church must build the bridge of racial reconciliation. God is serious: He wants us to root out racism in the evangelical churches of America. He is not happy that we have dragged our feet on this! Government programs and political speeches don't have the power to heal the problems we saw in 2015 in Ferguson, Baltimore, Charleston or Chicago. The church has been given the "ministry of reconciliation" (see 2 Cor. 5:18), and reconciliation will only work when black, white and Hispanic church leaders engage the enemy together.
God is saying: "A banner has been unfurled over this year, declaring Psalm 133:1: 'Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!'"
5. We must open our hearts to foreigners. Our national discussion about immigration, refugees and Muslims has exposed a spirit of bigotry and hatefulness, even among followers of Jesus. Today the world looks at the United States and wonders if we really are still a nation that believes all people are created equal. Our racism and nationalism have erected more walls than bridges. If we truly want to be Pentecostal in our theology, we must embrace the foreigners who are drawn to Christ by the Holy Spirit. This doesn't mean we throw out immigration policies, or allow terrorists to enter the U.S., but it does require us to make room in our cold hearts for the people God is bringing into our communities.
God is saying: "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations! Open your doors to everyone I am sending to you!"
6. We must focus our prayers on the Islamic world. In the 1980s, Christians prayed for seven years for the collapse of Soviet communism. But when the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, most believers were shocked that God answered those prayers. The same doubt exists today; many Christians focus only on the evils of ISIS rather than considering the possibility of a massive move of God among Muslims. We must pray expecting the Islamic Curtain to fall. Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, even Yemen—unbelievable spiritual shifts will take place in these nations in response to the prayers of God's people!
God is saying: "Is anything too hard for Me? My Word will not be chained. I will pull back the veil of Islam and shine My light in the darkest places."
7. We should expect a spiritual awakening to break out among young people.I've never been more convinced that we are going to see a fresh wave of the Holy Spirit's power to hit this country—and I'm looking for it to erupt in our high schools and on our college campuses. It will take a miracle—since God is not exactly welcome in these secular environments. But when one fire starts blazing, others will catch. I fully expect to see America's college students praying, fasting, preaching and worshiping so radically that something akin to the Jesus movement of the 1970s happens again. The music of this next movement will grab the world's attention. The testimonies of transformed lives will end up on the mainstream news. Social media will provide the platform to spread this campus revival quickly.
God is saying: "I will call a new generation to serve Me, and they will boldly proclaim My gospel—even in the strongholds of secularism. I will have radical followers even in the Ivy League schools."

Rick Joyner Offers Prophetic Insight on Trump's Trajectory

Is our government intentionally allowing in Islamic State militants?
Perhaps, says Rick Joyner. But the militants are entering the United States through the southern border, meaning the influx of immigrants are not from Mexico or other southern regions.
"Our president cannot be this naive," the prophetic voice says of the immigration.
The person to stop it? Donald Trump.

Perception - Now Think On This by Steve Martin

Perception
- Now Think On This
by Steve Martin

“Beware of the false prophets! They come to you wearing sheep’s clothing, but underneath they are hungry wolves! You will recognize them by their fruit. Can people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every healthy tree produces good fruit, but a poor tree produces bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, or a poor tree good fruit. Any tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire! So you will recognize them by their fruit.” Matt. 7:15-20 CJB

As a kid growing up Roman Catholic in Cedar Falls, Iowa, I tried to make the morning Mass before grade school as often as I could. St. Patrick’s Church was just a block away from the St. Patrick’s Grade School where I went for eight years, and so I’d go to the 7:30 am Mass before class started at 8:15 am.

Part of me wanted to get closer to the Lord; another part wanted to skip a lot of years in Purgatory, for so I was taught back then. “Mass a day kept the years away!” Not until I personally received Jesus as my Lord and Savior years later did I realize you can’t get to heaven by good works, but only by accepting the saving grace and redemption of Jesus’ sacrificial work on the cross, suffered on our behalf.

Often in the early morning hours, before and after the Mass started, I would see an old lady cleaning the altar, moving around quietly and without hype. Dressed in what looked like a long black robe, with a black head covering, I perceived her to be rather weird and and even spooky. As a 10-year old boy, having watched a few too many TV shows such as the Twilight Zone and such, what I “saw” and what was reality didn’t match up.

One Saturday morning, being brave enough to check things out further, I followed her home as she slowly walked, stooped over, to her house a few doors down the street from the church. (Going to Mass on a Saturday especially took off a lot of Purgatory years!) The old house where I discovered she lived was probably older than her. With two wooden stories, having creepy shaded windows, and needing a paint job bad, it fit perfectly with my perception of the inhabitant.

What I didn’t expect was for her to stop, turn around, and smile at me when she discovered my following. She then spoke, asking me how I was doing. Being dumb founded and totally surprised at her kindness, I briefly replied, and headed quickly home to my house. Thinking back now, in a way this moment reminded me of when Scout Finch met Boo Radley for the first time in the movie, Too Kill A Mockingbird. What she had expected and what was reality was about the same as the understanding I then received too.

Jesus often said that we would know people by their fruit – what they did rather than by what they said, or what they wanted you to think who they were. Getting a proper perception of one’s character cuts out any false image that one may try to convey. The biblical truth remains - a bad tree will not produce good fruit.

In our world today, there are many personalities and organizations that “advertise” as being one thing, when in reality they are the complete opposite. Stripping away the glitz and glamor, removing the falsehoods put out in deception, reveal the actuality that lies below the surface. Planned Parenthood’s murderous abortions are one prime example. Another are politicians who say one thing repeatedly, but then are proven wrong when the actual truth, later caught on tape or revealed in previously undisclosed documents, exposes their real tree’s fruit. We need to develop good perceptions, so we are not among those who fall for the lies of the devil himself.

They say you can’t judge a book by its cover. In many instances that is true. Wrapping words around a fancy digital image needs our closer inspection. Same holds for what we see, hear and feel if we don’t have the spiritual eyes needed to see the truth. Being sensitive in allowing the Holy Spirit to show us what He sees will enable us to know what is right and wrong, going beneath the outward appearance to see what really lies under the surface.

Many will be deceived by the lack of integrity, honesty and humility in these times. Preparation for the revealing of the false messiah, and the anti-christ is growing rapidly. We need the proper perception to understand and act accordingly in our daily lives. The Holy Spirit will be with us to give us that, as we draw near to Him, and spend time with Him daily. Our lives will depend on this.

Israel's capital - Jerusalem

The dilemma of Israel's capital

Friday, September 27, 2013 |  Aviel Schneider, Israel today
Israeli politicians love to praise Jerusalem as “the eternal capital of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.” But these lofty words are not backed up with deeds. Despite an official decision in 2008 to move all government ministries to Jerusalem within eight years, little if anything has been done.
“They only talk about Jerusalem, nothing more,” Jerusalem attorney Amnon Lorch told Israel Today. “Netanyahu himself has a private beach house in Caesarea, rather than in Jerusalem. Officials prefer the cultural and nightlife in Tel Aviv.”
If the government fails to establish its offices in Jerusalem, it should not be surprised that the world does recognize the city as the capital of Israel.
