When I read through Elaine Tavolacci's recent article about the Millennials God is raising up, I thought of the word "power".

We are in a time where we will see the power of God in such a mighty way as we've never seen before.

Elaine shares this awesome now word:

This remnant is being groomed for a mighty revival. They are ready to be used by God to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leapers and set the captives free. They know how to fight the lions and the bears. They know how to behead the giants. They've learned through personal experience that big battles require strong warriors. They refuse to stay in neutral gear.

Let's get behind, support and co-labor with this next generation God is raising up! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

A Remnant of Millennials is Rising Up!

For several years, the Lord has been showing me how He is raising up radical, Holy Spirit-filled Believers to bring an outpouring of His glory to this nation, and in the past few weeks, I have been seeing this come to pass. There are thousands of Millennials who are radical for Jesus, know Him as God, and are pressing in to do great exploits.

King David was known for slaying Goliath, whom the Israelites feared but were not able to defeat. David had already killed a lion and a bear before he killed Goliath. He had been through many personal battles but he always came out victorious. He was a king and a leader as well as a poet and a musician. He was a warrior and as we see in the Psalms, a man after God's own heart. He was determined and relentless against the enemy's plots, and would never retreat when faced with a challenge.

King David and the Cave of Adullam

There was a time when David was running from Saul, and the Lord sent him to the cave of Adullam. There were four hundred men in this cave who were in distress, in debt and discontented. David raised them up, taught them how to be invincible warriors, and trained them as a mighty army.

In 1 Samuel chapter 30, when David and his men returned home from war, they reached Ziklag and found it destroyed by fire, and their wives, sons and daughters were taken captive by the Amalekites. David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. They reached the breaking point and the people even turned against David, wanting to stone him. But then something rose up in David. He strengthened himself in the Lord, and he asked the Lord, "Shall I pursue this troop? Will I overtake them?" The Lord responded: "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all."

1 Samuel 30:6,8-10, "Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God... So David inquired of the Lord, saying, 'Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?' And He answered him, 'Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.' So David went, he and the six hundred men who were with him, and came to the Brook Besor, where those stayed who were left behind. But David pursued, he and four hundred men; for two hundred stayed behind, who were so weary that they could not cross the Brook Besor."

1 Samuel 30:18-20, "So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all. Then David took all the flocks and herds they had driven before those other livestock, and said, 'This is David's spoil.'"

Pursue, Overtake and Recover All That's Been Stolen
The Lord says, "I have called you and chosen from a young age. You have slain the lion and the bear and beheaded the giants. I will continue to train your hands for war, your fingers for battle, and you will become victorious over every assault that rises against you. You have worshiped Me in times of distress, yet you have not backed down in the face of adversity.
"Although the battle has been fierce at times and there are things that seem to be destroyed and lost forever, you will recover all that has been plundered from the enemy. As you continue to encourage yourself in Me, you will regain your spiritual momentum.
"When calamity comes in, as an ambush, stand steadfast in the armor that I have provided for you. Continue to resist all discouragement and stand immovable, knowing that I have given you the ability and the authority to overcome every assault that is raised up against you. Do not deviate from the truth but stand steadfast to your convictions.
"Stand on the promises that are available to you. Do not allow the enemy to intimidate you and don't be moved by his ineffectual strategies. Rise up as men and women of faith and take the position as the warriors that I have created you to be.
"Do not allow fear or bitterness to take root, and refuse to be moved by situations in the natural. Take every thought captive and trust Me for your provision. I will not fail you or lead you astray but you shall surely pursue, overtake, and without fail recover all that has been lost or stolen," says the Lord.

Firebomb Destroys Daystar's Jerusalem Studio - CHRIS MITCHELL/CBN NEWS

Some of the damage
Some of the damage (Daystar/CBN News)
The Jerusalem studio of Daystar, one of the largest Christian networks in the world, was firebombed over the weekend. The attack destroyed Daystar's new studio but the network plans to rebuild.
The fire began early Saturday morning when an arsonist threw a firebomb into the facility.
Daystar was in the midst of a major renovation and upgrade of its studio here in Jerusalem overlooking Mount Zion and the Mount of Olives. The fire destroyed the new work and much of the existing facility.
"The control room, I would say, is probably totally devastated," Dave Sharett, the contractor overseeing the renovations told CBN News. "The controls actually start here with the electric panel, the main electric panel and anything plastic is totally melted."
"It was a beautiful like living-room setup, real casual setup, nice chairs, stools, tables. Nothing survived. If it didn't burn, it melted," he added.
Sharett showed CBN News the destruction. "This is where we filmed from," he said while motioning towards the studio. "There were four cameras be back in this area here. And Marcus and Joni and their interviewee would be sitting here and then you would have this fabulous view behind them."
Marcus and Joni Lamb dedicated the Daystar Jerusalem studio in October of 2009.

DAVID JEREMIAH: Do We Trust This More Than We Trust God? CBN News
COMMENTARY  May 19, 2019
When our family moved from Indiana to San Diego, California, several decades ago, navigating on that road trip was a two-person affair: one driver and one navigator in the passenger seat. The navigator had a large paper roadmap unfolded, resting on the dashboard, from which directions were called out to the driver. Remember those days?
How things have changed! Today, one person can drive coast to coast or border to border with nothing but a smartphone or a car's built-in navigation system. It's all due to the government-run technology known as GPS—a few dozen satellites circling the earth sending out radio signals. GPS can tell us where we are within a few feet of our actual location and our phone's computer can create a path to our destination. Brilliant!
Here's the thing about GPS: We don't have to know how to get to where we're going. We set out in our car and just follow the directions we're given. In spite of the rare misdirection, we have come to trust GPS implicitly to direct us. Our job is to begin; the GPS' job is to get us where we'd like to go. We are free to enjoy the trip and not worry about the directions.
Can you guess where I'm headed with this analogy? Why are we so willing to trust an imperfect, man-made technology to guide our steps when we don't always put that same kind of faith in God? I know what you'll say: GPS gives us specific, moment-by-moment steps to take us to our destination. You're right—God doesn't audibly speak to us that way. But we still have biblical reasons to believe that He knows exactly where we are and the directions we need to get where He wants us to go.
Be honest: Which makes you more nervous? Leaving on a five-hundred-mile road trip with only your phone to guide you, or trusting God with a major life event (or crisis) you are facing? Most of us are pretty good at trusting God, but we need to move from good to great when it comes to living by faith.
I have a friend who, when his five children were small, would always lead a time of family prayer in the car before backing out of the driveway—prayers for safety, for "happy hearts," for good driving weather. Your family has probably done the same thing. When his children were teens, one of his sons was leaving on a trip with a friend, and the son prayed for their trip before leaving. The friend was amazed: "You pray about trips?" My friend's son answered, "Sure—we always did when I was growing up."
And why not? Isn't God interested in every aspect of our life—our daily bread, the hairs on our head, the steps we take? Of course, He is! When we stop to pray, it's an act of faith, an act of trust. We are to live every moment of our life by faith, which is why Paul writes, "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17). That's simply another way of saying, "Trust God with everything. Keep God involved in every dimension of your life."
The apostle James gives us an illustration of how not to do that—by living a life of faith in human reasoning instead of faith in God. In his example, some men made plans to go to another city and start a business and make a profit—without involving God. James said, "Instead you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that'" (see James 4:13-17). In other words, involve God in your business (and vacations and neighborhood and children's activities and hobbies and healthcare and finances—in everything!) as well as in your spiritual life because all of life with God is spiritual.
What does Proverbs 3:5-6 say? Trust in God; don't depend on your own understanding; involve Him in all your ways and He will direct your path. That's what it means to live a life of faith. Even when the way looks fuzzy and unclear? Yes. Because, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
How would your life be different if you lived a life of great faith instead of average faith? There's one way to find out.
