Sixteen Jewish community centers in the U.S. and several Jewish schools in London received bomb threats Monday, according to the JCC Association of North America and media reports.

The American JCCs receiving the threats were in California, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, South Carolina and Tennessee. The community centers received phone calls from what authorities believe is the same source, with a prerecorded message warning of a bomb planted on premises. In London, Jewish schools in the Roehampton, Ilford and Brent neighborhoods were affected, The Jewish Chronicle reported. The JCCs and schools were evacuated following the threats, allowing police to search the facilities for explosives. No bombs were found.

David Posner, director of strategic performance at JCC Association of North America, said the umbrella organization "thanks federal and local law enforcement for their quick and thorough response."

"JCCs continue to work with [local and federal authorities], as they do all year long, to ensure the continued safety of JCC members and all those who participate in JCC activities, as well as the safety of JCC buildings," Posner said.

Foreshock? A Significant Earthquake Just Hit the New Madrid Fault Seismic Zone

Could the earthquake that just struck the New Madrid Fault seismic zone near the town of La Center, Kentucky, be a "foreshock" for a much bigger quake yet to come? Very early on Sunday morning, a magnitude-3.5 earthquake hit western Kentucky, and it was felt in parts of three other states as well.

In fact, it is being reported that the quake could be felt all the way over in Miller, Missouri, which is 267 miles away. The New Madrid fault seismic zone is six times larger than the more famous San Andreas Fault zone in California, and it covers portions of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. Scientists tell us that the New Madrid fault is about 30 years overdue for a major event, and because of the nature of the Earth's crust in that part of the country, a major earthquake would do significant damage all the way to the east coast.

A big Hollywood blockbuster was named after the San Andreas Fault, but the truth is that the New Madrid Fault has the potential to do vastly more damage. That is why what happened in a remote section of western Kentucky very early Sunday morning was so alarming:

An earthquake near La Center, Kentucky was felt in parts of Illinois and Missouri early on Sunday morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Paducah and the USGS, a magnitude 3.5 was recorded about 8.7 miles north of La Center and 24.2 miles west of Paducah. It happened around 1:12 a.m. and had a depth of about 8.3 miles.

Quite often, there are "foreshocks" that warn us that a major earthquake is coming to a particular area, and many are wondering if this event qualifies.

Most Americans don't tend to think of the middle of the country as an area that is in danger from earthquakes, but the truth is that some of the worst earthquakes in U.S. history have taken place along the New Madrid Fault. The following comes from the USGS:

The New Madrid seismic zone of southeast Missouri and adjacent States is the most seismically active in North America east of the Rockies. During the winter of 1811-1812 three very large earthquakes devastated the area and were felt throughout most of the Nation. They occurred a few weeks apart on December 16, January 23, and February 7. Hundreds of aftershocks, some severely damaging by themselves, continued for years. Prehistoric earthquakes similar in size to those of 1811-1812 occurred in the middle 1400's and around 900 A.D. Strong, damaging earthquakes struck the southwestern end of the seismic zone near Marked Tree, Arkansas in 1843 (magnitude 6.3), and the northeastern end near Charleston, Missouri in 1895 (magnitude 6.6). Since 1900, moderately damaging earthquakes have struck the seismic zone every few decades.

Those earthquakes in 1811 and 1812 tore thousands of very deep fissures in the ground, they caused the Mississippi River to actually run backward in some places, and they caused sidewalks to crack in Washington, D.C., and church bells to ring in Boston.

In our time, the U.S. Geological Survey has admitted that the New Madrid Fault zone has the "potential for larger and more powerful quakes than previously thought," and we have seen the number of significant earthquakes in the middle part of the country more than quintuple in recent years.

If a magnitude-7.0 or magnitude-8.0 earthquake were to strike along the New Madrid Fault today, the damage that would be done would be absolutely unimaginable because of the nature of the Earth's crust in this region. According to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, earthquakes along the New Madrid Fault "shake and damage an area approximately 20 times larger than earthquakes in California."

Due to the harder, colder, drier and less fractured nature of the rocks in the earth's crust in the central United States, earthquakes in this region shake and damage an area approximately 20 times larger than earthquakes in California and most other active seismic areas. Even though large earthquakes occur much less frequently in the NMSZ than in California, the long term average quake threat, in terms of square miles affected per century, is about the same because of the approximately 20 times larger area affected in the central United States.

Are you starting to get an idea of just how devastating this kind of disaster could be?

Once upon a time, our continent almost divided along the New Madrid Fault. Of course that didn't happen, but a massive scar formed deep underground, and this area of weakness has remained ever since. The following comes from Wikipedia:

The faults responsible for the New Madrid Seismic Zone are embedded in a subsurface geological feature known as the Reelfoot Rift that formed during the breakup of the supercontinent Rodinia in the Neoproterozoic Era (about 750 million years ago). The resulting rift system failed to split the continent, but has remained as an aulacogen (a scar or zone of weakness) deep underground, and its ancient faults appear to have made the Earth's crust in the New Madrid area mechanically weaker than much of the rest of North America.

This relative weakness is important, because it would allow the relatively small east-west compressive forces associated with the continuing continental drift of the North American plate to reactivate old faults around New Madrid, making the area unusually prone to earthquakes in spite of it being far from the nearest tectonic plate boundary.

One day, I believe that a major seismic event in the area of this deep scar will literally divide the United States in half.

What that will do to our country is the kind of stuff that apocalyptic novels are written about.

And it is also important to keep in mind that there are 15 nuclear reactors along the New Madrid Fault zone, so if a massive earthquake did strike the region, we could be looking at Fukushima times 15.

So yes, I am always concerned whenever a significant earthquake hits the New Madrid Fault.

Tennessee is poised to become the first state in US history to adopt the Bible as its official state book, with legislation proposing the measure on its way to the governor’s desk for approval.

Its sponsor, Republican senator Steve Southerland, quoted a Jewish friend when giving his reason for introducing the bill. “The Holy Bible is a history book,” he said, reported The Tennessean.

“The very founding of our nation – the very form of government that we have today – was put forth by men of faith, based on their faith, based on what they read in Holy Scripture,” said one of the bill’s supporters, Republican senator Kerry Roberts.

Roberts added that he was tired of those who are trying to make America into a secular nation, declaring, “This book has done more to bring us to where we are today than any other book in the history of mankind.”

They are not the only recent voices to emphasize the Bible’s role in the founding of the country. Last month, evangelical pastor Rafael Cruz, father of presidential candidate Ted Cruz, said in a speech that the American constitution was founded on the Torah, or Hebrew Bible.

“The Torah is embedded within the constitution. That was the inspiration for the framers,” he proclaimed while speaking to a pro-Israel Christian group. He referenced Exodus 18 as the guideline for the creation of a constitutional republic.

Thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. Exodus 18:21

Though the Bible forms the basis for American values and morality, America’s laws separating church and state mandate that, at least in form, the Bible, and any other religious works, stay out of government.

Opponents of the Tennessee bill argued that the move would violate these laws.

“I understand that it’s hard to vote against the Bible – no one wants to do that,” said Democratic senator Jeff Yarboro. “[But] we have an obligation to follow the Constitution.”

In contrast, while Israel has not adopted the Hebrew Bible as its “official state book”, its presence in every aspect of life in the Jewish state, in particular its national symbols, is undeniable. Israel’s official state symbols pay homage to ancient Biblical parables and concepts, including its national emblem, which features the seven-armed menorah which stood in the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem.

Israel’s national tree, the olive tree, is one of the seven species associated with Israel in the Bible.

Its national colors, blue and white, are derived from a verse in the Book of Numbers, which exhorts Israelites to wear a “cord of blue” on the tassels of their four-cornered garments:

Speak unto B’nei Yisrael, and bid them that they make them throughout their generations fringes in the corners of their garments, and that they put with the fringe of each corner a thread of blue. Numbers 15:38

While the Bible’s precepts have fed the roots of both Israel and America, forming one of the strongest possible arguments for friendship between the two countries, the US is currently struggling to decide how it wants to relate to the Word of God.
The question is sure to come into play in the upcoming battle for America’s presidency. Bible-minded voters have made it clear that the religious and spiritual values of the candidates are anything but a side issue.

The South Carolina House has passed a bill blocking Islamic sharia law from being recognized or approved in the state, after years of debate over similar legislation.

The legislation voted upon was explained as “A bill to amend the code of laws of South Carolina … so as to prevent a court or other enforcement authority from enforcing foreign law including, but not limited to, Sharia Law in this state from a forum outside of the United States or its territories under certain circumstances.”

On Thursday, the legislation passed with 68 for the bill and 42 opposed.

Sharia law is the legal and political system mandated in the Koran and other Islamic texts. It include laws governing religious practice, such as praying and ritual washing. But sharia also rules what Westerners see as non-government social practices — divorce, child-rearing, free-speech, clothing or sexual behavior, for example — and it also rules government responses to crimes, such as theft and murder.

Sharia law relegates women and non-Muslims to a lesser status, and grants men enormous authority over wives, daughters and sons. It allows for the primitive treatment of women and non-Muslims, and allows fierce punishment — sometimes, “honor killings” by fathers — for refusing to complying with sharia mandates.

The bill was sponsored by Rep. Chip Limehouse. He told Breitbart News following the bill’s passage:

“This goes to demonstrate that the South Carolina House of Representatives is committed to preserving and protecting the American way of life here in South Carolina.”

“Sharia Law has been used as a defense in American courtrooms,” he adds. “We are working towards making that defense not an option for radical extremists from any country.”

“In South Carolina, we’ve had cases where people have tried to use [the rules of] Sharia Law as a defense, and we are speaking very clearly from the South Carolina House,” Limehouse said. “Shariah Law can not and will not be used as a legal defense in the state of South Carolina.”

Because the bill was passed at the beginning of the current legislative session, Rep. Limehouse said he was optimistic that the Senate would have enough time to pass the bill. In order for the bill to become law, it must now be passed by the South Carolina State Senate and signed by Governor Nikki Haley.

Tea Party and conservative grassroots organizations are credited with initiating the movement to ban sharia rules through the state legislatures. Conservative leaders Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin, and Michele Bachmann have publicly advocated for the need to enact nation-wide legislation against the threat of sharia.

Underground sharia courts operate in Muslim communities throughout Europe and alsoin the United States. Last year, Breitbart Texas reported that a “voluntary” sharia court had already been established in Texas.

Several countries in Europe, including the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, have many underground sharia courts within migrant communities. In the U.K, the government has formally deputized at least one sharia court to decide non-criminal issues among people who agree to use the court, even as public concerns rise that immigrant women are socially pressured to accept the courts’ authority

U.S. opponents of sharia courts point to Europe for evidence that western democracies can gradually cede more de-facto legal authority to self-segregating Muslim communities, so enabling the self-segregation of Muslim communities into no-go zones within cities.

Several states–including Alabama, Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana, North Carolina South Dakota, and Tennessee–have passed “foreign law” bans against sharia. More than a dozen other states are currently considering similar legislation.

What if your child or grandchild's public school forced them to write out the Shahada—the Islamic conversion creed—while "having skipped Christianity"?

What if your child's study guide had a section called "Origins of Islam" that included statements such as, "Around the age of 40, the angel Gabriel told Muhammad that he was to be a prophet of Allah"?

Stated as fact, not belief.

Yet, according to reports and numerous contacts to the ACLJ, that is exactly what is happening.  In fact, children are being forced to learn how to convert to Islam and recite that "Allah is the only God."

It's Islamic indoctrination right here in our schools.

In Tennessee, these are realities facing parents of middle schoolers. Parents and concerned citizens from at least three counties have contacted us at the ACLJ with concerns about what their students are being taught.

As Fox News reports, parents like Brandee Porterfield are speaking out about what their children are experiencing:

Tennessee parents are voicing their concerns about a middle school history assignment in which students were asked to write "Allah is the only God."

Brandee Porterfield joined "Fox and Friends" this morning, saying she has no problem with her seventh-grade daughter learning about Islam as part of world history, but believes time should also be devoted to Christianity.

"They did this assignment where they wrote out the Five Pillars of Islam, including having the children learn and write the Shahada, which is the Islamic conversion creed," she explained.

Porterfield said she spoke with the Spring Hill Middle School teacher and principal, who said there would not be similar lessons on Christianity and Judaism.

She said she reviewed the state standards and there are upcoming lessons on Hinduism and Buddhism. 

Unlike the lessons on Islam, however, Porterfield said students would not be expected to memorize a creed dealing with those religions.

Maury County school officials refuse to acknowledge the blatant constitutional violations at issue here, merely stating that they "covered some sensitive topics" that "caused some confusion."

That's outrageous.  The indoctrination of students with the precepts of converting to Islam and forcing them to recite "Allah is the only God" aren't "sensitive topics"; it's unconstitutional.

School officials claim "By the end of the year, students will have studied Buddhism, Hinduism and other religions," but there is no indication as to what will be covered or for how long.

School officials indicated that in contrast the class would pay mere lip service to Christianity. As the Daily Caller notes:

[I]t appears that Tennessee students don't study Christianity per se. There is not, for example, one class day dedicated to the basic Jesus story.

[School officials] promised that students would eventually come across a reference to Christianity when history teachers reach the "Age of Exploration" in eighth grade. Then, students will hear about Christians persecuting other Christians in some countries in Western Europe.

Outrageous.

But the problem could be much bigger than one school and one assignment.

Our client in neighboring Williamson County said that as part of the middle school class work on Islam—in addition to the worksheet his son was asked to fill out (two portions of which are above)—his son was forced to recite things in Arabic without even being told what it meant.

And this isn't just an issue in one state. Earlier this year, we reported that public school students in Madison, Wisconsin were given an assignment to "pretend you are Muslim,"  while public school students in Florida were instructed to recite the Five Pillars of Islam as a prayer, make Islamic prayer rugs, and perform other Muslim rituals. Suspiciously, the textbook discussing Islam had chapters missing. Which chapters? Those on Christianity and Judaism.

To put this in perspective, imagine the outcry from the ACLU, Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), and other leftist and angry atheist organizations if a study guide stated, "Jesus is the Son of God," and forced children to recite the Lord's Prayer. These organizations would be beside themselves claiming indoctrination of our public school students.

But where are these organizations now?

At the ACLJ, we're taking direct action. We're in direct contact with a number of parents and concerned citizens, we're taking on new clients, and preparing critical demand letters and open records requests to these schools and school districts.

Religious liberty must be protected and Islamic indoctrination must be stopped.

It is a clear constitutional principle that public education may not indoctrinate young minds into a religion. Teachers and schools may teach what different faith traditions believe and how that has affected world history and geography. But a school cannot censor Christianity and promote Islam.

One such action is informing you, our readers, that Chuck Pierce is truly one of the most accurate prophets I've ever known. Pay attention!!

This was prophesied Sunday, February 22, 2015. We have transcribed it word for word, and then we've given you a video link so you can listen to it for yourself in context.

I live in Oregon, and many of my family and friends live in both Oregon and Washington. Some may ask, "Is this about an earthquake?"

I can only tell you that from my reading, it SEEMS to me, Steve Shultz, to say that! If it is not about an earthquake, it would be about "earthshaking events" in Oregon and Washington.

It IS called an ALERT and it IS an ALARM and when it says, "Wake up and watch," that means, WAKE UP AND PRAY AND KEEP PRAYING!

In addition, this word includes cities, regions and countries such as: Tennessee, New England, Japan, and Africa.

Now a specific note: When this word refers to "this month" it is speaking of the Jewish/Hebrew month of Adar that just began on the evening of February 20, 2015 and goes through March 20, 2015.

So be alert and PRAY!!

"I say to Tennessee, 'Watch, for this is a time that there will come a movement from the NE portion. You need to watch the movement.'

"I say to, 'New England, you need to awaken now because if you will awaken now I will cause a new generation to rise up in here.'

"I say to Japan, 'This will be a month that you must stand firm because of the shaking... so I say to you.'

Find Your Way Through the Movement... Find Your Footing

I decree there's a shaking loose of promises that have fallen in the ground. And you're going to be walking this month and all of a sudden you're going to say, "I just stepped into a place of glory that I saw several times back," and then all of a sudden you'll decree a thing and it will happen.

Now I want you to decree. You decree: "I'm coming into my promise." You decree that though the enemy has blocked you, though you have done things you shouldn't have done, this month you are shifting to go up, and you will see a manifestation.

There is going to be a meeting of Heaven and earth. You need to know. You need to find your steps this month.

Hear what I'm your saying to you: Find your steps this month. There is going to be Heaven and earth colliding and shaking around us. Find your footing.

It's not going to be like where it's been, starting now. A new season has blossomed. Find your way through the movement.

God says, "Right now, I have begun a movement. You find your way through it. This is what it looks like. It's not going to be like other seasons."

You will not be controlling how the movement affects you. You'll just have to get in it.

...You get ready. Things will start moving all around you. Some of you are going to move in your jobs. Some of you are going to move where you live. Some of you are going to move in your life. Some of you are going to move in your house. Some of you are going to move in your nation. Things will be sliding and shifting this month, and God says, "Find your footing. Find your footing. Find your footing."

Something has stirred up. What Firstfruits is about is shifting into alignment with God's will in Heaven. Once we do that, let me tell you this month, something is going to shift around you and you are not to get frustrated in all the changes around you, but you will find your footing and you'll be stronger in the latter than you were at the beginning.
