Major Eruption Imminent? Earthquake Swarms Reported at Mt. Hood, Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens - MICHAEL SNYDER CHARISMA NEWS

Major Eruption Imminent? Earthquake Swarms Reported at Mt. Hood, Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens

Is an eruption of one or more of the major volcanoes in the northwest United States imminent? (Public Domain)

Is an eruption of one or more of the major volcanoes in the northwest United States imminent? In recent days, very large earthquake swarms have been reported at Mt. Hood, Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. It is certainly not unusual for each of these volcanoes to experience earthquake swarms from time to time, but right now we are seeing this happen at all three volcanoes simultaneously, and this comes at a time when seismic activity along the Ring of Fire is on the rise all over the planet. If you have followed my work for a while, then you probably already know that I have been consistently warning that an eruption of Mt. Rainier is coming, and of course Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens are exceedingly dangerous volcanoes as well. If any one of the three were to erupt on a massive scale, it would instantly become the biggest news story of the year.
Mt. St. Helens
Many of my older readers remember the devastating eruption of Mt. St. Helens back in 1980 very well. This volcano is probably not as dangerous as Mt. Hood, and it is definitely not as dangerous as Mt. Rainier, but a full-blown eruption could still do an immense amount of damage to nearby communities.
Over the past couple of months, there has been a very disturbing series of earthquakes at Mt. St. Helens, and just within the last 30 days, there have been 103 quakes. In this article, I am going to share with you a series of maps that come from the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network via Google Earth.
Scientists tell us that the reason for all of this activity at Mt. St. Helens is because the magma chamber is likely recharging.
Multiple small earthquakes beneath the surface of Mount St. Helens the past two months suggest it may be recharging magma.
These tiny quakes which started March 14 have been happening at a depth of two and seven kilometers—or 1.2 to four miles beneath the surface. Over the last eight weeks, there have been over 130 earthquakes formally located by the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network and many more too small to be located, says USGS.
The small earthquakes beneath the surface may suggest Mount St. Helens is recharging magma. The magma chamber is likely imparting its own stresses on the crust around and above it as the system slowly recharges. The pressure drives fluids through cracks, producing the small quakes, per USGS.
Mt. Hood
Mount Hood is located only about 50 miles away from Portland, Oregon, and it is one of the most dangerous volcanoes in America. Over the past 30 days, there have been 96 earthquakes at Mt. Hood, and most of them have been centered on the south side of the mountain.
According to Wired, the majority of the earthquakes that are happening are at a depth of between three and five kilometers, and this could be a sign that magma is ascending.
Right now, the earthquake swarm at Mt. Hood is centered just to the south of the main edifice (see below) and most of the earthquakes are between 3 and 5 kilometers below the surface. This is likely the zone where magma is being staged as it ascends from its source.
Mt. Rainier
There haven't been quite as many earthquakes at Mt. Rainier over the past 30 days—only 37—but without a doubt it is potentially more dangerous than either Mt. Hood or Mt. St. Helens because it sits so close to major population centers.
For a long time, I have been warning about the apocalyptic consequences that a major eruption of Mt. Rainier would have. For example, here is an excerpt from one of my previous articles.
Mt. Rainier has been dubbed a "time bomb," "the most dangerous mountain in the United States" and "one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world" because it sits so close to Seattle, Tacoma and other major cities along the coast of Washington state. In the event of a full-blown eruption, countless numbers of people would literally be buried alive in a tsunami of super-heated mud. These tsunamis of super-heated mud are known as "lahars," and scientists believe that Mt. Rainier is capable of producing lahars that could move at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. I am so convinced that an eruption of Mt. Rainier is in our future that I even put one in my novel.
My wife and I once lived out near Seattle for about a year, and we know very well that Mt. Rainier looms in the distance as an ever-present reminder of the major disaster that is coming someday. This extremely dangerous volcano is clearly visible from the central part of Seattle.
It is hard to even describe the death and destruction that we could potentially witness during a full-blown eruption of Mt. Rainier. According to Wikipedia, super-heated mud from Mt. Rainier could potentially even "destroy parts of downtown Seattle."
If Mt. Rainier were to erupt as powerfully as Mount St. Helens did in its May 18, 1980, eruption, the effect would be cumulatively greater, because of the far more massive amounts of glacial ice locked on the volcano compared to Mount St. Helens[33] and the vastly more heavily populated areas surrounding Rainier.[38] Lahars from Rainier pose the most risk to life and property,[39] as many communities lie atop older lahar deposits. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), about 150,000 people live on top of old lahar deposits of Rainier.[8] Not only is there much ice atop the volcano, the volcano is also slowly being weakened by hydrothermal activity. According to Geoff Clayton, a geologist with a Washington State Geology firm, RH2 Engineering, a repeat of the Osceola mudflow would destroy EnumclawOrtingKentAuburnPuyallupSumner and all of Renton.[32] Such a mudflow might also reach down the Duwamish estuary and destroy parts of downtown Seattle, and cause tsunamis in Puget Sound and Lake Washington.[40] Rainier is also capable of producing pyroclastic flows and expelling lava.
Scientists assure us that someday Mt. Rainier will experience another massive eruption, and it will be an apocalyptic event unlike anything the northwest United States has ever experienced before. Let us just hope and pray that we have a lot more time until that happens, because nobody should ever want to witness death and destruction on that scale.
Unfortunately, the crust of our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and the west coast of our country sits directly along the Ring of Fire. It is only a matter of time until a major seismic event strikes, and it may be a lot sooner than a lot of people think.

Today's Israel Inspiration

Today's verse describes the joy of unexpected healing. While Job is in the midst of his suffering, it is almost impossible for him to imagine relief from his misery. He would feel so happy that his mouth would be filled with laughter. In hospitals across Israel, special teams of medical clowns show that laughter and healing go hand in hand. Israel's medical clowns team up with doctors, nurses and therapists, decreasing anxiety and helping painful treatments for sick children. Help support 5 highly-trained new medical clowns in medical centers around Israel. With your support, 7,800 more hospitalized children will have a pleasant experience, and benefit from improved therapeutic outcomes.

African King in Israel to Claim Lost Tribe Status: We are All Jews Under the Kingdom of God

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord will set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people, that shall remain from Ashur, and from Mitzrayim, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.” Isaiah 11:11 (The Israel Bible™)
On Sunday, the Israeli Religious Affairs Minister, David Azulai, received an unusual visit from a member of royalty with an even more unusual request: the ruler of the Republic of Togo, King Francois A. Ayi, came to ask that the State of Israel officially recognize the people of Togo as one of the lost tribes of Israel. His mission is not only nationalistic; it is Messianic, and includes all of Africa.
“My desire is to come to the Western Wall with my people next Sukkot and shout ‘Shema Israel,’” said the king.
In an interview with the Hebrew news site Kikar Shabbat, King Ayi explained the reasons behind his visit.

“A state that does not recognize God, and it has no religion – is a country that does not know where it is going. As a professor who studied other religions, I can tell you that there is no religion that has entered into my heart like the Jewish religion.”
Many might be surprised to learn that the King Ayi studied Christian-based constitution at the Provident Foundation Institute of Virginia, as well as the law of Biblical principles of governing. He received his Doctorate of Divinity Degree in Theology in Alabama, and became a professor at the National Bible Institute (now Washington Bible College) in Maryland.
“We in Africa have no Jewish Studies,” the king explained. “The meeting with the minister, who received me so warmly, will begin to open the doors to the tribes of Africa and the world, for those who want to know about Judaism and connect to the Land of Israel.”
King Ayi revealed that this meeting had been destined for quite some time.
“I didn’t just discover that I was a Jew. I have always been a Jew. We all know this. Before Togo became a republic, it was a kingdom called ‘The Jewish Kingdom of West Africa’. Our founding fathers came from Israel more than two thousand years ago via Egypt and Morocco.”
He brought some astounding proofs.
“We kept the Jewish New Year and all the Jewish laws. We do not eat meat and milk together, we have circumcision on the eighth day, and observe the Sabbath,” the king explained.
Publish the world's first-ever Israel Bible!
“My message,” he said, “is to bring all the kings and queens of Africa, since I am their king, to come and see what the God of Israel has done. So they can see the Biblical history and the truth. I want all the Jews in the world to come here and sing the Shema prayer.”
King Ayi has the ability to bring about this grand vision. During the second World Conference of the Council of Chiefs and Kings of Africa in 2002, King Ayi was crowned by his peers as head of the Organization of Kings and Queens of Africa.
When asked what brought him to the final decision to come to Israel, the king had a thoughtful reply.
“I feel that I must join with the Jews now in order to continue the tradition I received. I want to lead my people and all the people ruled by the kings under me to understand that the God of Mount Sinai is the God we seek today.”
King Ayi’s visit with the Israeli minister comes several months after the king met Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, one of the leading rabbis of the generation. When meeting the king, Rabbi Kanievsky recited the rare blessing said upon seeing royalty.
ברוך אתה ה’ אלוקינו מלך העולם שחלק מכבודו לבשר ודם
Blessed art thou, ruler of the universe, who has given of his honor to flesh and blood.
“The rabbi was like a father to me, he held my hand, and I felt that this person is sacred, his entire heart is devoted to Hashem (God),” said King Ayi of the fateful meeting. “He prayed for me and blessed me with the most amazing blessing of my life and it stuck in my heart.”
Minister Azulai responded to the king’s claims of being part of a lost tribe with caution, saying, “This needs to passed through the Chief Rabbinate for them to be accepted Halachically (according to Torah law) and then on the practical level.”
King Ayi was asked how he would respond to rabbis who doubted the veracity of his claims.
“If a rabbi says that a Jew who is  trying to come to Judaism is not a Jew – he should  go and read the Torah again. The Torah says that the lost tribes are beyond the River Sambatyon. In the end of days, all the Jews in the world will be revealed, and people from far away will return. Judaism is not only in Europe. It is all over the world.”
“While our aunts and uncles were being murdered in the Holocaust, many of our people – black Jews in Africa – were being killed as well. Many of the black Jews were taken to America as slaves, and some blacks in America are Jews. This has been verified by genetic testing,” the king said.
He concluded with a message of unity. “It’s time we know that we are one: there is no white Jew, green Jew, or black Jew. We are all Jews under the kingdom of God.”

This revolutionary app can ignite revival around the world and even solve significant church problems like a lack of tithing, according to a recent CNN article.
West African Christians use the Asoriba app to fellowship through church-wide devotionals and planned events. They can also tithe online, making the Ghana churches some of the wealthiest institutions in the country, CNN reports.
The donation feature is one that excites the developers the most.
"Clearly, the benefits and statics of going electronic as a church today is so glaring, however, the most exciting part of it is that, it's going to happen all over the world," the developers write in a blog post
By allowing members to tithe through the app, the developers say churches remove all hindrances from their members not giving their best to God.
Without the app, the developers propose the following situation:
1. Member goes to the bank. (Probably picks a car or drives there, time & fuel used)
2. Withdraws cash and place it in an envelope.
3. Wait till Sunday. (Between the period, he may use that money)
4. Deposits it in the offertory bowl and is prayed for.
5. His details are recorded. (Prone to error; some churches don't do this)
6. After church, money is counted at the back office (Issues of error and theft may occur)
7. On Monday or Tuesday, money is sent to the bank and banked.
8. Wait till the end of the month to get a bank statement.
"In Ghana alone, 20 percent of adults have mobile money (5 million mobile wallets), Kenya 58 percent, Tanzania 34 percent and Rwanda 17 percent. These numbers are rising speedily by the day," the developers write. "This means most people are increasingly using less cash each day. So on a typical Sunday, a member may not have physical cash to give, but electronic money. As a church you must make provision for this member to make such payments easily and instantly into you churches bank account. As your technology partner, Asoriba makes this possible via your Church's mobile app found on the playstore."
In the United States, only 9 percent of people prefer to pay with cash. In the American church, only 3-5 percent of Americans regularly tithe. But the U.S. is rapidly declining in Christianity, while African churches have begun to embrace Pentecostalism.
"Pentecostal churches are booming in Nigeria, indeed across much of Africa," The Economist reports. "(T.B.) Joshua's satellite television channel, Emmanuel TV, airs his prophecies live to millions worldwide. Admirers have included Ghana's late president, John Atta Mills; Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, ex-wife of South Africa's late president, Nelson Mandela; Julius Malema, a radical South African politician; and Morgan Tsvangirai, Zimbabwe's opposition leader."
Perhaps the app could continue the revival.
But the app is not only about church administration. The next step for the platform is to create a social networking function, which would make it the new Facebook for churchgoers.
CNN reports the team envisions creating a virtual space for users to engage with others of the same faith about sensitive topics, such as sex and marriage, which they may struggle to bring up with people in real life.
"We want people to express themselves, and we want to make it possible to have these conversations," Nana Prempeh, co-founder of Asoriba says.
