OUTRAGE: Hamas Terror Tunnel Found Beneath 2 UN Schools in Gaza

JERUSALEM, Israel – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says it's time for the United Nations to "reconsider the continued existence" of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA).
Netanyahu made the comments against the backdrop of the recent discovery of a Hamas terror tunnel constructed beneath two UNRWA schools in the Gaza Strip.
"A Hamas tunnel has recently been discovered under two schools in the Gaza Strip. Hamas is using schoolchildren as human shields and this is the enemy that we have been fighting against for many years, an enemy that is committing a twofold war crime. On the one hand, it first attacks innocent civilians and then hides behind children," Netanyahu said, adding that he'd instructed the Foreign Ministry director general to file an official protest with the U.N. Security Council against Hamas regarding the tunnel.
He told cabinet ministers he'd discussed UNRWA with U.S. U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley last week and thanked her for the strong stance she's taking on behalf of Israel at the United Nations.
"Since World War Two, there has been – and continue to be today – millions of refugees. And these millions have the U.N. High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), while most of the Palestinian refugees are settled and have a separate commission. This is UNRWA; it has its own institutions and considerable incitement against Israel," Netanyahu explained.
UNRWA Perpetuates the 'Refugee Problem'
"I regret that UNRWA, to a large degree, by its very existence, perpetuates – and does not solve – the Palestinian refugee problem. Therefore, the time has come to disband UNRWA and integrate it into the UNHCR," said Netanyahu.
UNRWA spokesman Christopher Gunness responded by saying only the U.N. General Assembly has the authority to decide UNRWA's fate, noting that in December "a large majority" extended the agency's mandate this past December by three years.
Gunness said UNRWA condemned "the existence of such tunnels in the strongest possible terms."
UNRWA employees discovered the tunnel on June 1 during the construction of an extension of one of the buildings, while students were on summer vacation.
Like other Hamas attack tunnels, it runs from inside Gaza toward the Israeli border and about 2-3 meters (yards) under the schools.
According to Gunness, UNRWA reached an agreement with Hamas "…to seal the tunnel under its premises as an immediate priority" after "robustly" intervening and protesting to Hamas.
Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum called Netanyahu's remarks "baseless accusations," saying Hamas has nothing to do with the tunnel and warning UNRWA "to withdraw its accusations against Hamas" to avoid jeopardizing its relationship with Hamas.
Meanwhile, Israel's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordechai said, "It is clear as day that the Arab world in its entirety now understands that the terrorist organization Hamas is destroying the Gaza Strip and eliminating any prospects of a better future for Gazans. Perhaps it is time for the residents of Gaza to understand it themselves," the Israeli daily Israel Hayom reported.

From Applause to Outrage: A Wide-Range of Reactions to Pence Commencement Speeches - CBN News

From Applause to Outrage: A Wide-Range of Reactions to Pence Commencement Speeches

Pence Faces Mixed Reactions from Notre Dame Students
Penced faced wide-range of reactions at Notre Dame's Commencement Ceremony Sunday. What were students reacting to? Vice President Mike Pence taking the stage as guest speaker.
Rather than politely hearing out the former Indiana Governor, students upset with Pence's conservative stances chose to demonstrate via a rather rude statement.
In Our Hands: The Battle for Jerusalem. Get Tickets
"By standing together in solidarity and walking out, we hope to take back some of the celebration for ourselves," said Brian Rickets, a graduate and of the college's student body President Emeritus.

However, others said that Vice President Pence still deserves respect for his upstanding character, despite political disagreements.
"Even those who disagree with Mike Pence recognize him as a man of principle. I do as well," Notre Dame's administrator told Fox News.
Pence Quotes Scripture in his Address to Grove City College Graduates
"The Bible says, 'to whom much is given, much will be required.' I believe that you leave here today with one particular responsibility. That's what I came here to tell you," Vice President Mike Pence told the graduates of Grove City College, class of 2017, earlier today.
"You leave here with a responsibility to lead. All of you, without exception, are called to be leader, no matter where you go from here."

The Vice President, an unashamed Christian, encouraged the graduates to lead with character and courage.
"Your education these past four years has prepare you to lead. You hold within you all you need to leave this place and succeed. All you need to add to it is courage," Pence said.
He captured the brave stance he's taken for morality and virtue he's embodied in his new role as a national leader.
"You must inspire those around you by being salt and light in every walk of life," he said, referencing Matthew 5:13-14.
"You must aspire to be men and women of character."
Pence also encouraged the graduates to embrace humility, as Christ did.
"Servant leadership, not selfish ambition, must be the animating force of the career that lies before you. For it's written, 'whoever must be first of all must be servant of all.'"
Quoting C.S. Lewis, he said, "Courage was not one of the virtues, it was actually a form of all the virtues."

Outrage Over Bar Mitzvah Boy Found Wearing 'Christian' Prayer Shawl - Israel Today

Outrage Over Bar Mitzvah Boy Found Wearing 'Christian' Prayer Shawl

Thursday, March 16, 2017 |  Israel Today Staff
Local newspaper Hashavua described it as a “great embarrassment” when a 13-year-old boy who was about to read from the Torah to mark his bar mitzvah was found to be wearing a tallit (Jewish prayer shawl) with “Christian” inscriptions.
A spokesman for the Merom Israel Synagogue in Bat Yam where the event was taking place said the family was not particularly religious, so did not notice the “Christian” wording.
According to the synagogue, the entire bar mitzvah would have been for naught had the boy read from the Torah while wearing this particular prayer shawl.
The synagogue provided the boy with a replacement prayer shawl and the service continued.
Religious figures in Bat Yam are now hunting for the store that sold the prayer shawl, after the boy’s family refused to get involved by revealing its name.
The report did not say which “Christian” scripture or inscription was discovered on the prayer shawl, but numerous stores in Israel sell “Messianic” tallits.

Outrage on the Temple Mount, Er, Haram al-Sharif - RON CANTOR CHARISMA NEWS

Outrage on the Temple Mount, Er, Haram al-Sharif

RON CANTOR  CHARISMA NEWS
Standing With Israel
Earlier this week, in Israel, a tour guide was leading a group of American students on the Temple Mount—you know, the place where the first and second temple stood (according to any historian with an ounce of integrity).
In his teaching, Israeli archeologist Dr. Gabriel Barkay used the suddenly controversial term, "Temple Mount." He was confronted immediately by Islamic thug guards.
You see, the Islamists on the Temple Mount not only deny that there ever was a temple there, but they demand that you deny it as well.
According to the TimesofIsrael.com: "In passing, he once again referred to the site as the Temple Mount; its Arabic name is Haram al-Sharif, the Noble Sanctuary. Incensed, the guards interrupted once more, ordered 72-year-old Barkay to stand and marched him over to a cluster of Israel police officers who were standing beneath a clutch of pines."
Not long ago, UNESCO, the joke of an organization within the U.N. that promotes education, science and culture (but apparently not history), passed a resolution that proclaimed that the Western Wall and the Temple Mount were solely Islamic sites and denied their Jewish connection.
Islamic guards had been following Dr. Barkay and his group to make sure they didn't say anything inappropriate such as Temple Mount. Now, standing with the police, the Islamic thugs wanted Dr. Barkay expelled from the Temple Mount ... I mean, Haram al-Sharif. Of course, he was breaking no law, just hurting their feelings; and therefore, he was able to continue.
You might wonder, if Israel is a Jewish state, why are there Islamic guards harassing people on the Temple Mount? After Israel defeated Jordan in 1967, the WAQF (the organization that oversees the Temple Mount) was created under Jordanian oversight, which then employed Palestinians to run it. This is a direct contradiction to how Jordan treated Jerusalem's Old City from 1948 to 1967. They destroyed every Jewish symbol, monument and synagogue. Now they cry foul if a Jewish person simply utters a prayer on the Temple Mount. And we put up with it.
This thuggish aggression against Jewish and Christian tourists is not new. Many tour guides will tell you they have suffered a similar encounter. Instead of defending the tourists, the United Nations, against all logic and intellect, agrees with the Islamists that the Temple Mount is really and only Haram al-Sharif. Of course, the Islamic block of nations has sway in the U.N., so truth takes a back seat to myths that are meant to weaken Israel.
The funny thing is that we have no direct evidence that Mohammed ever even visited Jerusalem, but we have tons of evidence of the two different Jewish Temples that stood there.
And to be clear, Yeshua will return to the Mount of Olive directly facing that area. He will enter, and I am quite sure He will acknowledge it as the Temple Mount as He sets up His kingdom.
"Then the Lord will go out and fight those nations as He fights in the day of war. On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is to the east of Jerusalem" (Zech. 14:3-4a).
