"British Isles/UK and Europe: It's Time to Reap What You Have Sown!"

Recently, the Spirit of the Lord said to me: "It's time for the UK and Europe to reap what they have sown."

At first glance, such a statement might produce some fear and trembling because of how we are religiously bent to think. Often, when we consider the concept of sowing and reaping, we think of how nations have sown bad things, and thus, should brace themselves for the judgment or wrath of God.

While God does have the right to judge nations, we need to also consider that the word "judgment" also includes "evaluation." And remember, our God is the One who doesn't want any people – or nations – to perish (see 2 Peter 3:9). I believe He is evaluating nations right now and He wants you to know that He has seen the seeds you've sown into the earth!

It's a Fullness of Time Moment!

Even now, I prophesy, "British Isles and Europe, it's time for you to reap what you have sown into the nations of the earth!" What have you sown? I believe the Holy Spirit told me, "They have sown revival and reformation into the four corners of the earth."

The King James Version of Galatians 6:7 uses the terminology of sowing and reaping. I like how the New Living Translation puts it: "...You will always harvest what you plant." Europe and UK: for many years, you have been planting and seeding Heaven's agenda as you have sown revival and reformation across the globe. God sees and God remembers.

I was born in the USA and I presently live in Texas. While I believe in a healthy love for one's homeland and nation, I also believe it's vital to express our appreciation to other nations for how their spiritual investments have impacted our nations. I write as a citizen of the United States right now, desiring to give honor to how your nations have touched the planet!

I'm grateful for the correspondence that Evan Roberts had with Intercessor Frank Bartleman in Los Angeles, as I have no doubt that what God was doing in Wales (Welsh Revival) in 1904 somehow jumped over the ocean and had a measurable impact on birthing the Azusa Street Revival of 1906. Wales, it's time for a fresh outpouring!

I'm grateful for the Smith sisters for praying a mighty outpouring of God's Spirit into the Hebrides Islands back in 1949 during the Lewis Awakening/Hebrides Revival. God sees Scotland, and I believe His movement in that nation is evidenced by the powerful prophetic community that is being raised up there!

I'm grateful for how Evangelist Steve Hill (Brownsville Revival) was touched by the power of God at Holy Trinity Brompton (in 1995) and that touch of God was powerfully released on Father's Day 1995 in Pensacola, FL.

England, it's time. There are an increasing number of churches that carry the fire of the Holy Spirit throughout the country. My friends with the Ramp (a youth and young adults ministry based in Hamilton, AL) have received a mandate to build a church in Manchester. The Lord says, "Look around! Consider the activity of My Spirit, both overt and covert, for this activity is evidence that I am moving and My movement will only increase."

Justified by Grace

I'm grateful for what God exported out of Germany through a priest named Martin Luther. Because of his impact, we recognize that through the Blood of Jesus we have direct access to God Himself. We are justified by grace through faith.

I'm grateful for the reformation culture exported out of Geneva, Switzerland under John Calvin, which gives us a powerful picture of a city under the influence of Kingdom ideas.

I think of George Jeffreys, the Welsh evangelist who operated in signs, wonders and miracles and founded Elim Pentecostal Church. It's interesting how this evangelist had a direct impact and influence on German-born evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke.

Time prevents me from going through revival and reformation history, person by person, recognizing the global, spiritual impact of European and British leaders on the nations of the earth. For all you've sown, it's time to reap. So, how do we respond to this prophetic word?

Here are Some Strategies to Pray Through and Act Upon:

• We agree with prophetic words through prayer and intercession. We do not agree with the secularism and darkness we see having influence on these nations. We don't pretend the problems aren't there in the name of faith; we simply pray based on what God is saying about Europe and the British Isles.

Don't pray the problem; pray the solution.

• We volunteer to be "sent ones," released into the harvest. By and large, this does not mean you are called to "minister" in a church setting; you are called to be the Church in whatever sphere of influence, job, trade, or educational institution you've been assigned to. The Lord is building His Church; it just looks a whole lot different than we think. You are filled with the Holy Spirit to go to the people and places in your sphere of influence and function as a prophetic problem-solver. For as you deliver solutions to the problems and crises that have stumped everyone else, you will be given platforms to reveal the "Source" of your supernatural solutions: the Holy Spirit, Christ in you! (Photo via Pexels)

• We make room for the Holy Spirit in our local church gatherings. It's impossible to see culture shift without a local church that maintains an open atmosphere to the supernatural movement of the Spirit. I prophesy, Europe and UK – may the fire of God burn strong in your churches! I even see some of the ancient landmarks of faith, the cathedrals and beautiful sanctuaries of old, coming alive again with the fire of God.

• I see intercessors and prophets becoming key voices in this season, as you will be receiving prayer strategies from Heaven that you are called to prophesy and decree over your cities, regions, and nations.

• The Spirit of the Lord will sovereignly remind you of past promises and prophecies for your cities and nations. These words were never meant to become "forgotten things," they are Heaven-sent strategies to help us effectively pray and war in the spirit for the destinies of our nations.

• I specifically see people praying over the ground in these nations, declaring: "Spring up, oh well!" (see Numbers 21:17). The Lord is saying, "My Bride will once again sing the 'song of the well'" in Europe and the British Islands." (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Nearly three-quarters of a century has passed since the Red Army liberated the notorious Auschwitz death camp on January 27, 1945, a date now marked by the annual Holocaust Memorial Day here in Britain and elsewhere.

It is held with the intention of ensuring that it never happens again. But alas, anti-Semitism is back to haunt us, proving the point often made that we never learn from history.

In the UK, we face the dreadful possibility of having a Prime Minister with strong anti-Israel sympathies if the party currently holding onto power by the skin of its teeth does not get its act together.

In the US, they have witnessed the ghastly spectre of a congresswoman who took “swearing in” quite literally as she launched a profanity-laced tirade against President Trump on taking office.

Democrat Rashida Tlaib and Representative Ilhan Omar are the first two Muslim women elected to Congress, with the latter having already expressed her opposition to Israel.

Anti-Semitism has also been cited among issues affecting the Women’s March movement in America. In fact, it is on the rise worldwide, with left and right forming an unholy alliance against God’s chosen people.

On the other hand, there is increasing support for Israel from unexpected quarters. Take Brazil, for instance. Its new president, Jair Bolsonaro, has boldly declared his intention of following the US lead in moving his embassy to Jerusalem. And Wilson Witzel actually requested the sound of a shofar to accompany his inauguration as a Brazilian state governor, so strong is his support for the Jewish state.

So what does this mean? Nations, communities and individuals are lining up for battle (whether knowingly or not) in anticipation, no doubt, of the day of judgment when the sheep are separated from the goats (see Ezekiel 34.17, Matthew 25.31-46, Joel 3.2) on the basis of how they treated the Jewish people.

In the midst of all this, the silence from most leaders of the Christian church has been deafening – just as it was in Germany and elsewhere during the Shoah. I guess this is largely because of the dangerous and heretical Replacement Theology that has certainly swept through much of the British church.

We should be witnessing stirring calls from our pulpits to stand with the Jews, but somehow they don’t see the connection. That’s because they have been disconnected from the roots of their faith, and have forgotten that we worship the God of Israel, who has sent his Son as Messiah, first for the Jews and also for the Gentiles.

We owe them everything – the Law, the Prophets, the Patriarchs, the entire Bible (Luke being the only Gentile author) and most of all Jesus, who will soon return as the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Rev 5.5).

That the Jewish state is once more under severe threat was illustrated by the surface-to-surface missile fired into Israel by Syrian-based Iranian forces on Sunday. Fortunately, it was successfully intercepted.

Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of the late evangelist Billy Graham, is currently suffering severe side-effects from cancer treatment which she believes could be a message for Israel.

Recalling that God had some of his prophets live out the message he gave them, she wonders if her current life and death battle relates to the Jewish nation, reborn just a week before she came into the world.

“The warning I feel deep within is that Israel is in danger of a surprise attack in this, her 70th year,” she writes, urging them to return to the Lord (Joel 2.12-14) and us Gentiles to pray for the peace of Jerusalem “and for the whole House of Israel”.

If we truly love Jesus, we will love the Jews – as many of our Arab friends testify on finding peace and reconciliation at the cross. Wake up, church!

Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass

The LORD is indeed faithful to those whom He’s called to serve Him. We can say that without any shadow of a doubt. As many of you know we collect humanitarian aid to send out to needy Jewish families making Aliyah from Russia. The amount of aid we’ve collected recently has shown us The LORD’s faithfulness towards His people Israel. 

Recently we’ve had a lot of aid arrive from Southern Ireland, people from as far away as Tralee on the south western tip of Ireland have donated second-hand clothing to bless the Jewish people. Help for Jewish families has also arrived from Kilkenny, Athlone, and Drogheda. Until now I’ve been collecting the aid in my own car. Please pray that we might obtain a van to collect larger loads.

Aid which recently arrived from Southern Ireland

It’s ironic that the Irish government has recently voted to boycott Israeli products from Judah and Samaria, and yet we have small pockets of Irish Christians collecting aid for the Jewish people. Please pray for us as we share about both Ezra UK’s Aliyah work, and the Aid to Israel program here in Ireland.

Bangor Worldwide Convention

From August 27-31  I’ll represent Ezra UK at the annual ‘Worldwide Convention’ in Bangor Co Down Northern Ireland. Around 70 Christian organizations will be represented at the week-long convention. The event draws thousands of Christians interested in supporting various Christian ministries. Pray that the LORD will use our team to inform Christians of the need to support the Aliyah of the Jewish people home to Israel. Pray also for good conversations with those who don’t really understand the LORD’s promises to His people Israel.

Fine-sounding words are not enough. Actions speak much louder. The apostle James berated those who boasted about their faith when it wasn’t matched by their deeds (James 2.14).

Britain’s new Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson has said the United Kingdom “will always be Israel’s friend” and spoke of how the Jewish state is a “beacon of light and hope in a region where there is so much hatred and hurt”.

In addressing the Conservative Friends of Israel’s annual parliamentary reception, he also hailed “the wonderful blooming of democracy that is Israel”.

I was heartened by his resounding praise for the Jewish state, and do not doubt his sincerity, but he is part of a government that in recent days has refused to follow U.S. President Trump’s lead in recognising Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and which also continues to desist from applying a full ban on the Hezbollah terrorist organisation.

Both these actions encourage Israel’s enemies to believe they have our support for their bloodthirsty Jihad (holy war) against the Jews, illustrated once more on Monday with the brutal stabbing to death of a 29-year-old Israeli rabbi at a bus stop in Samaria. Itamar Ben-Gal leaves a wife and four children. This followed last month’s murder, also in Samaria, of a 35-year-old rabbi and father-of-six in a drive-by shooting outside Nablus (the biblical Shechem, home to Joseph’s Tomb and Jacob’s Well.) Ten children in the area are thus left fatherless in the space of a few weeks.

At best, we are sending out mixed messages, the modus operandi of Palestinian politicians who have often been caught saying one thing to their Arab audience and quite another to the English-speaking world. (For examples of this, see https://www.palwatch.org/">Palestinian Media Watch)

Oh yes, I know that diplomats are charged with seeking peace and should try, if at all possible, to accommodate all parties, but appeasement will only ever succeed in putting off the evil day of reckoning which, when it comes, will be much more difficult to unravel. The current Israeli-Palestinian conflict is itself an example of the persistent failure of short-term deals made to keep the ‘peace’ with Arab parties ever since the Balfour Declaration was published 100 years ago.

Instead of getting on with it and immediately implementing its declared goal – the resettlement of Jews from the diaspora in the Promised Land – we dithered and dallied for decades in a fruitless effort to please all parties. The enemies of Israel saw it as weakness, which they exploited to the hilt with violence that had us chasing our tails looking for a way out of the awesome responsibility we had been given.

Now, just days after marking Holocaust Memorial Day in Parliament and all over the country, we hear of rising anti-Semitism in Britain, Ireland and France.

The Community Security Trust, in their annual report on anti-Semitism, said there were 1,382 such incidents in Britain in 2017 – the highest since it began gathering data in 1984.

In Paris, an eight-year-old boy was attacked in the second assault on Jewish children in the area in three weeks, drawing condemnation from French President Emmanuel Macron, rightly concerned at the prospect of losing yet more citizens as a result. France has Europe’s largest Jewish community, but many have made Aliyah (emigrated) to Israel in the wake of increasing anti-Semitism in recent years.

The Irish Parliament, meanwhile, is considering a Bill that would boycott goods produced by Israeli companies based in Judea and Samaria and the Golan Heights, with up to five years’ imprisonment awaiting offenders.

Quite apart from the fact that such a boycott would also harm Palestinian workers, it is a shocking form of anti-Semitism which, not surprisingly, provoked anger from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu along with reported intervention from the United States. The parliament has now postponed voting on the Bill, which is likely to be re-visited in the summer.

From Britain’s point of view, the situation is aggravated by worrying in-fighting among the ranks of the Conservative-led government – mostly over Brexit – which could open the door to a Labour Party having its own problems with anti-Semitism.

The Bible says: “When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a ruler with discernment and knowledge maintains order.” (Proverbs 28.2)

The Irish, like the South African government, have clearly fallen into the trap, set by Palestinian propaganda, of seeing Israel as an ‘apartheid’ state. South African diplomat Clinton Swemmer told the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva that apartheid, once used to describe black disenfranchisement in South Africa, now applies to Israel because of its policies towards Palestinians.

He said: “Israel is the only state in the world that can be called an apartheid state.” But as Dan Diker, of the Jerusalem Centre for Public Affairs, points out, Swemmer is speaking for many who know little or nothing about Israel and never lived through apartheid. “There is not even one point of similarity (between apartheid South Africa and Israel),” Diker said, adding: “Our parliament, Supreme Court, universities, bathrooms, hospitals and everything else in Israel are fully integrated.”

At the end of the day, the word of God is clear, “For the Lord has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling…” (Psalm 132.13)

The Father Showed Me Three Incredible Things: Promises Fulfilled, Tears of Joy and Joy Restored.

A Vision of the Promises

The first vision was a huge, crystal dome. It was called hope. Inside the dome was a huge, incredible array of crystal, glittering lights—like fairy-lights. The dome was filled with a wondrous, almost fairytale, glow. It was filled with WONDER. Oh beloved reading this, it was the most beautiful dome I had ever seen. There was peace, joy, wonder and new life bursting inside that dome.

I said, "Father what are the fairy-lights?" He said, "Each glowing light is a PROMISE to My precious sons and daughters that have been delayed or hijacked by the enemy. These are My promises of My goodness, My kindness, and My OVERWHELMING faithfulness in the land of the living."

"Daddy, but why are they here?" I said.

"Because, My beloved child, in these past few years one of the major strategies of the enemy has been to contend so violently for My children's hope. To try to literally hijack and delay the fulfillment of My promises on earth; many of My children have become heartsick with so many of their dreams and hopes being deferred."

I said, "Oh Father, how do we get it back?"

"First, let Me show you something..." said the Father.

A Vision of Tears of Joy

I looked and saw an enormous glass vat. It reached to the ceiling and was filled with rainbows and a see-through liquid, like water. The Father spoke again: "This vat is filled with My children's tears. They are tears of joy."
"Oh Daddy!" I gasped, "They are the tears of joy that have been stolen and delayed because the promises have been so delayed in this past season."

The Father was so anguished and said, "The enemy saw that much ground was being taken, so in this past season his strategy became more violent against My champions. He knew that those who have loved and served Me so faithfully would never, never give up. So he strategically contended for every promise; to circumvent, delay and hijack My promises of goodness in the land of the living.

"Many, many—SO MANY—of My children were used to miracles manifesting in their lives. Yet, these same champions in the past few years have been crying out to Me saying, 'Father! I have stood. I have been faithful, but what used to so easily manifest—the miracles that would come overnight—there is just barrenness and continual contending and fighting in the spirit for what never seems to manifest.'"

The Father said, "Beloved. Beloved of My heart, this was a targeted strategy of the enemy. He could not keep the answers from you forever, but in this past season, in the spirit realm, the powers and principalities have been contending violently for every promise. For they knew that this would wear down My saints."

A Vision of Joy Restored

It was once again full of wonder, but each time I was drawn to it, a huge eruption of SHEER JOY would come from my heart: "Oh Father! He has stolen our joy!"

"That, My child, is the joy of My promises fulfilled on earth; My promises and My miracles; My kindness and My goodness in the land of the living. For the ultimate strategy of the enemy was to erode My children's strength."
"Because Your joy is our strength." I murmured. I sighed, "But Daddy, we're meant to have that anyhow just by being with You." Oh the Father is so wonderful. I could sense Him laughing at me. We had had certain conversations earlier in the day.

"Yes, My beloved Princess. That, you know is true." Oh, He was still laughing: "But as your Father—your Daddy—the Lover of your souls, I understand that you live on the earth and so many times you see through a glass darkly and hold on to Me by faith. So it is My utmost JOY to answer your cries for My promises and My miracles. Oh what joy it gives Me when I see your tears of joy and your wonder.

"For I Am goodness; I Am kindness; I Am compassion and I yearn to see My children thriving and joyous. I love to give My children good things. I watch them, even as you watched your own children open their presents and took SUCH JOY IN THEIR JOY. I am your Father and I take such joy in your joy."

"So Daddy, how do we get this back?"

He said, "Remember Daniel? When Gabriel called on Michael, there was a 21-day delay.

As My children release the hosts of Heaven in this season, you will all see a restitution of these three things I have shown you (Promises Fulfilled, Tears of Joy and Joy Restored). For it is time to DEMAND them back in the spirit realm. For I tell you that ENOUGH is ENOUGH. The time of transition is upon you, the last snares are being broken, the victory is assured, and miracles are about to break forth in the land of the living."

A New Day and a New Season!

"I told you I would break through for you so that others may have hope."

I said, "Daddy, You mean the three-year battle with my book rights?" (A personal testimony of mine.)

"Yes, beloved child. The battle was fierce. There were many days it seemed impossible, but they are back in your hands just as I promised they would be."

"Oh yes, Daddy. It was such a miracle."

"And you signed with Harper Collins."

"Oh yes, Daddy," I said, "The rights came back just in time. One day later and it would have been too late. Two incredible breakthroughs after three years..." I could feel the Father smile.

"And so now for My children: When this battle is over, miracles after miracles will break forth and the sounds of wonder and laughter and tears shed of joy will be My children's heritage!"

God says to you: "So pray beloved ones, pray. Release the hosts of Heaven to tear down these strongholds in the enemy's camps. For even as for Daniel, your answers are on their way! There will be joy, peace, hope renewed, wonder, promises fulfilled, delays finished and aborted situations resurrected!

"It's a new day, a new season with new strength, new vigor and new focus! For I Am the I Am; the Restorer of the breach and the Binder of the broken-hearted; your compassionate, loving King of all kings. I Am the Lover of your souls. Oh how I yearn for you, beloved. Your Abba, your King, longs for you."
