A Taste of Jerusalem on Passover ✡ "Restore Unto Me the Joy" - ISRAEL365

Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation;
and let a willing spirit uphold me.

Today's Israel Inspiration

In Jewish circles, it's a very common practice to purchase a new article of clothing or, for women, jewelry before every holiday to add a special sense of newness to the already joyous celebration. It's an especially considerate tradition for husbands present their wives with gifts of jewelry and flowers each holiday, to ensure they enjoy the specialness of the day. This weekend only, you can save 25% on the entire jewelry collection on the Israel365 Store and gift your loved ones with a unique piece they'll always cherish!

A Taste of Jerusalem on Passover

The ancient holy city of Jerusalem amid the Passover holiday is truly abuzz with visitors from all over the world who yearn for a little taste of the Old City's magic!

Families Gather to Harvest Barley for the Omer Offering

As soon as the first day of Passover concluded, entire families gathered in a field in southern Israel to harvest barley that would be used the next day by men of the priestly caste to recreate the Omer offering of barley as instructed by God in the Bible.

Tambourines are Back in Stock!

Upon the miraculous exodus of the Israelite nation from their arduous lives of slavery in Egypt, the Egyptians, led by Pharaoh, attempted to pursue the Hebrews into the Red Sea. But with an almighty Hand, God destroyed the enemy, saving His nation from certain death. After witnessing yet another certain miracle, the women of the nation, led by Miriam the Prophetess, gathered their instruments and sang to their hearts' delight of the wonder of God's mighty Hand. Emulate Biblical times with this special instrument, and praise the Almighty for His never ending love and devotion to His beloved people!

Today's Israel Photo

A beautiful sunset over Lake Kinneret by Boruch Len. The Kinneret, or Sea of Galilee, is Israel’s largest fresh water reservoir and most important source of drinking water. No wonder that winter rain forecasts and water levels grab the nation's attention and often reflect the national spirit.

“Israel Will Be Saved”

It’s great to hear from you and make new friends from all over the world. Please send me an email and let me know how you are enjoying Israel365 (don’t forget to say where you are from!).

We are always supporting Israel, the beloved ones for their father's sake, with our prayers and part of our tithing. We are also looking forward to the day our Lord will stand up for Israel when the nations will try to destroy it, and all Israel will be saved! What a day that will be! Zach 12: 9,10 and Zach 14: 3, 4. In the near future we might come to Israel to see it, and visit our planted garden, if possible. --MATTHEW & MARGO KOSTER
