Down memory lane. Walk With Me, Steve Martin. Victory Community 1975-1980. "All things in common".

Victory Church became Victory Community around 1975 and lasted until 1980, in LaSalle/Peru, Illinois. This video, recorded by Steve Martin, tells the story of the beginning — and the end —as we based our living community on Acts 2, where people "had all things in common." Headed by Pasters Stan and Dixie Buren, and elders Bob Smith, Dave Johnson, George Rhodes, and Byron Pappas. We owned one church building and four homes on the same block area, before it disbanded, and half the members moved to East Lansing, Michigan, to become part of Shiloh Fellowship/New Covenant Christian Church. Founders there included Erik Krueger and Ron Milton. Videos recorded and shared by Steve Martin, Love For His People Ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina.
