Join the Fight to Restore Jewish Prayer to the Temple Mount! ✡ "As the Earth Sends Forth its Growth" - ISRAEL365

For as the earth sends forth its growth and as a garden sprouts forth its seedlings, so will my Lord, God, cause righteousness and praise to sprout in the presence of all the nations.

Today's Israel Inspiration

There is a wonderful story about Israel’s first Chief Rabbi, Abraham Isaac Kook who in 1924 was invited to a tree planting ceremony and given the honor of placing the first sapling.  The ordinarily dignified Rabbi became very emotional as he bent low to the ground. Suddenly, Rabbi Kook threw away the shovel and passionately began digging with his bare hands. “How could I use a shovel?” he explained, “when there should be nothing separating a man from the Holy Land he is planting on!” Join us at Israel365 and plant your roots in the soil of the Holy Land.

Beautiful, Green Israel

This beautifully filmed video shows the breathtaking results of Israel’s incredible “afforestation” efforts, which made it the ONLY country in the entire world which has more trees today than it did 100 years ago.

YOU Can Join the Court Case to Restore Glory of Jewish Prayer to the Temple Mount

In a court battle reminiscent of the American Civil Rights Movement of the ‘60’s, a case in the Israeli Supreme Court is intended to end discrimination against religious Jews on the Temple Mount. Anyone interested in bringing the Third Temple is invited to sign on as an official claimant.

Fulfill the Biblical Commandment of Eating Matzos

Thousands of years ago, when God redeemed the Israelites from bondage in Egypt, He commanded them to eat Matzo along with the Paschal lamb on their departure from Egypt. We continue to eat Matzo every year on this holiday to commemorate the redemption of the Israelites from Egypt and the beginning of their journey to the Land of Israel. This year, partake in the remembrance of the ultimate redemption story by feasting on Matzos along with the Jewish people.

Today's Israel Photo

While the rest of the world has been cutting down its trees, Israel is planting forests in the desert! Today’s photo is of the Yatir Forest, Israel’s largest forest, which sits - miraculously - on the edge of the Negev Desert. Yatir is mentioned in Joshua 21:14.

“I Thank Hashem”

It’s great to hear from you and make new friends from all over the world. Please send me an email and let me know how you are enjoying Israel365 (don’t forget to say where you are from!).

Dear Rabbi Tuly, You are very welcome and thanks for appreciating. I wish I could do more to help the Holocaust survivors but in my current status as a student and am constrained. I thank Hashem for giving me everything and I am more than happy to share with those who survived one of the most darkest episode of our human history on earth - the deliberate, callous, and cold-blooded systematic extermination of the Jews in Europe by  Nazi Germany under Hitler. Thank you for your blessings. Best wishes and warm regards, Zachary.
Shalom,
Rabbi Tuly Weisz
