Meet 100 Israelis ✡ "Love Your Fellow As Yourself" - Israel365

You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against your countrymen. Love your fellow as yourself:
I am Hashem.

לֹא־תִקֹּם וְלֹא־תִטֹּר אֶת־בְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ אֲנִי יְהוָה

Today's Israel Inspiration

The late Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion made the following speech in 1944 to a gathering of youth in Haifa: “Ours was a tiny nation inhabiting a small country, and there have been many tiny nations and many small countries, but ours was a tiny nation possessed of a great spirit; an inspired people that believed in its pioneering mission to all men, in the mission that had been preached by the prophets of Israel. This people gave the world great and eternal moral truths and commandments. This people rose to prophetic visions of the unity of the Creator with His creation, of the dignity and infinite worth of the individual because every man is created in the divine image, of social justice, universal peace, and love: ‘Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.’ This people was the first to prophesy about ‘the end of days,’ the first to see the vision of a new human society.” Just as Ben-Gurion described, Colel Chabad has kept the vision of preserving the dignity and worth of every individual alive. By caring for the hungry and elderly in Israel, Colel Chabad promotes the commandment of "loving your fellow as yourself."

Treating the Children of Israel with Love and Respect

With Israel’s birth rate the highest in the developed world, day care centers in the Holy Land are filled to capacity. Though Israel’s population explosion is a miracle and a blessing, the need for quality child care centers is a pressing issue.

God's Land

The Torah is more than a book of laws; it is the legacy of the Jewish people. It tells of the creation of a nation chosen to be the emissaries of God. The Torah begins with the story of creation so that there can be no question that the Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish People. From the beginning, God intended for the People of Israel to do His holy work from the holy Land of Israel, and that from there their light would emanate. May our study of the Israel Bible strengthen each of our appreciation for the Land of Israel.

“I Stand With You”

It’s great to hear from you and make new friends from all over the world. Please send me an email and let me know how you are enjoying Israel365 (don’t forget to say where you are from!).

My contribution, if you will, is to pray for your situation. And I will do that faithfully and stand with you. God is over all and knows all.  May He supply every need that you have and replenish every vine and bring life back into the vines that survived this evil attack.  God, put a hedge of Your protection around this field and assign an angel to oversee its restoration. I am a lover of Israel and the Jewish people, have visited ten times, and feel a part of me is still there. Bless you, Phyllis Highfill, Tulsa, Oklahoma
Shalom,
