How Hebrew Words Heal Worlds ✡ "Sweet to the Soul" - ISRAEL365

Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Today's Israel Inspiration

King Solomon, author of the Book of Proverbs, teaches an incredibly valuable lesson: a word spoken can be as cherished to the soul or as healthy to the body as any spiritual or physical nourishment, as long as the words are said with care and conviction. We therefore learn from King Solomon of the tremendous importance behind a single word and how it can be used to heal worlds. Experts in the Hebrew language, the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies has tapped into new and exciting ways to teach God's Biblical language to eager students all over the world in such a way that you will find yourself filled with joy as they encourage you to discover the Hebrew expert within!

The Role of the Star of David in the Holocaust

During WWII, Jews across Europe were forced to wear different styles of Yellow Stars on the outer layer of their clothing to publicly identify them as Jews. Until this day, the images of the yellow Star of David badges elicit painful reminders of the atrocities which the Jewish people suffered during the Holocaust. Today, Jews and other lovers of Israel proudly wear the Star of David as a representation of their faith and loyalty to Israel. The Star of David has regained its status as a symbol of pride as opposed to a symbol of shame and persecution.
