The Miracle That is Israel ✡ "Song of Zion" - ISRAEL365

For there our captors asked us for words of song
and our tormentors [asked of us] mirth,
"Sing for us of the song of Zion".

PSALMS (137:3)

Jerusalem Inspiration

By the rivers of Babylon, the Psalmist reveals the cruelty of the Nation's captors, as they taunt the newly exiled Jerusalemites, asking them to sing songs of Zion. The Hebrew word for captors, שׁוֹבֵינוּ, sho-vay-nu shares the same root as the Hebrew word לשוב, la-shuv, to return.  We take comfort, after 2,000 years of exile, that with the malady, God created the antidote; we suffered at the hands of our captors, but we did, and continue to, return to our holy Jerusalem.  Celebrate the miracle that is Israel with our beautiful 2016 Calendar, complete with Biblical verse and breathtaking Israel photos.

The Wall Bears Witness

In this very meaningful video, the Western Wall in Jerusalem is personified as a witness to bitter tears as well as joyful song.  Whatever brings a person there, he can be sure the stones are a reservoir for his heart's desires and his prayers go straight to the heavens.
