"How Great Thou Art"

ACM Girls' Night Out

Uploaded on May 11, 2011
"ACM Girls' Night Out: Superstar Women of Country" at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 4th, 2011. The event/concert honored great female artists who have helped to shape the industry for those that followed.

Carrie Underwood & Vince Gill's duet (a jaw-dropping performance), brought the audience to their feet, for a standing ovation a full minute before the song ended. Another highlight was Gill's beautiful guitar solo, from 1:34 - 2:57, playing a full verse instrumental.

lyrics "How Great Thou Art":

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
