"Paul Cain Has Gone HOME! But - EXACTLY a Year Ago Today..." THE ELIJAH LIST

"Paul Cain Has Gone HOME!
But - EXACTLY a Year Ago Today..." Feb. 13, 2019

From the Desk of Steve Shultz:

Steve ShultzIt was exactly one year ago today, February 13th, 2018, that we published this short prophetic Word of the Lord through Prophet Paul Cain: "A Resurgence of the Fear of the Lord is Coming!" (Note: Paul's word was given on Feb. 2, 2018, but we published it Feb. 13, 2018.)

For the last 20 years or so of Paul Cain's life, I've been happy to call Paul a friend of mine. Paul and I did a few conferences together, and I was beyond honored that he would stay in touch with me over the years. No one knew that starting about 25 years ago, a young prophet told me that I would become a personal friend of Paul Cain. When that word came, there was no Elijah List at all, and I had no training in the prophetic YET—but then came that word for me.

So imagine my surprise when it just happened—Paul Cain became my friend—SUDDENLY!
Now speaking of SUDDENLY, check out this word by Paul Cain published a year ago today, just as it was announced that Paul went home to be with his LORD.

Such things are NOT a coincidence but they are prophetically significant! When these coincidences happen, we normally go to the last article we've published on that prophet—in this case today, Paul Cain. This helps us to see what God was saying EMPHATICALLY as Paul's journey on Earth was nearing an end.

Paul was a prophet and with that title comes this Scripture just below. ALL of the Bible prophets we have had to "receive as a prophet" long after their death. This will be the case with Paul Cain as well. Many will come to receive Paul Cain as a prophet only after his death, but there is a reward for doing so, here it is:

Matthew 10:41 (NKJV): "He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward..."

Now, go ahead and check out this very short prophetic word through Paul Cain, published exactly one year from the announcement of Paul's home-going—on what is about to happen, SUDDENLY!

ON 12 FEBRUARY 2019, OUR PRECIOUS FRIEND BROTHER PAUL CAIN WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

HE LIVED HIS LIFE FOR, AND TO THE GLORY OF GOD. HE WAS THE FRIEND OF FRIENDS TO THOSE IN LOWLY POSITIONS AND TO WORLD LEADERS AND OFFICIALS. HE LOVED THE LORD, AND THE LORD WAS TRULY THE MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION OF HIS HEART.

Paul Cain: "A Resurgence of the Fear of the Lord is Coming!"

Paul Cain's word below posted on the Elijah List one year ago today on February 13, 2018:

Word of the Lord through Paul Cain given February 2, 2018:

You are going to see some things that will leave some of you without words for days!
There is a resurgence of the fear of the Lord coming – and it will fall suddenly, unexpectedly, and unannounced.

A new day is coming! It is not an encore – this will be like no other.

This will be a hallmark of a huge wave of the Spirit that will sweep around the earth.
It will be about holiness and purity of heart – and it is a waste of time telling folks to get ready.

It will just come – SUDDENLY.

A revival with a hallmark of tears, but also profound intimacy, with the person of the Holy Spirit.

In his early ministry life, Cain drew crowds of 30,000 in Switzerland and Germany with his meetings. Cain's ministry at this time used a very large tent, like most other ministers' of the time, such as Billy Graham, Oral Roberts and Jack Coe. He traveled around the world, proclaiming the Gospel and ministered to many national and international leaders.

My husband, Samuel, and I have been married now for more than 21 years. We fell in love in college, and we fell in love hard. I am so very grateful! The Lord gave us such a once-in-a-lifetime type of love, the kind of love that has its roots in eternity, that withstands the tests of times, and that has the Lord's hand and His Word intermingled and interwoven in the very fabric of our relationship. I thank the Lord because, truth be told, we are very far from being perfect. If it were not for the Lord, where would we be? We will never claim to have operated in perfection, especially when it comes to the maturation of ourselves and our marriage.
Early in our marriage, people would comment that we looked so happy and didn't fight. That, of course was many moons ago, before we began our growth. We become very acquainted with the art of disagreement. We have gone through maturation periods that have stretched our faith, our trust and our very marriage. As a wife, I have run through the gamut of emotions. I have questioned myself, my worth, my relevance, my beauty, my appeal and my place, as well as my sanity.
I was so busy fantasizing and idealizing, attempting to recreate the past of a mate, that in the beginning I robbed myself of appreciating and honoring the great person, husband, father, provider, man of God and man of integrity that my husband had become. It became many times like it says in Proverbs 27:15: "A continual dropping on a very rainy day and a contentious [having a tendency to argument or strife; quarrelsome] woman are alike."
Picture that: It just doesn't stop. It keep pouring; it keeps storming. Wives, sometimes our "reminder," our "Why can't you? " or "Didn't you say you were going to do?" can eventually become a deluge for our husbands ...
Our attitudes can either reinforce or hinder our husbands. Wives, our husbands can either be "broken" and dismantled, or validated and healed, by the words we speak into their lives. As the Bible tells us, we were created to be his "help meet." So the way I see it, every time a husband sees his wife, he is to "meet help" and not hindrance. Proverbs 18:22 says we as wives are to be found a "good thing," someone favorable the Lord has given to our husbands. Therefore, we need to empower, elevate and show appreciation for our men, not emasculate them with our attitudes.
Ecclesiastes 9:9 says, "Enjoy life with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life which He has given you under the sun; because that is your reward in life and in your toil because you have labored under the sun."
