The Future Redemption
In his prophecy, Yirmiyahu (Jeremiah) interrupts a description of death and exile with an uplifting message of consolation, declaring that Hashem (God) will bring the Children of Israel back from captivity to their land. Yirmiyahu declared that the future salvation of the Children of Israel will be so great that it will overshadow the past miracles of the exodus from Egypt. Israel's future redemption will stand out from their past redemption, since it will see the return of the nation of Israel to the land that they had already inherited, occupied and enjoyed. The miracle of the State of Israel and the extraordinary events we are experiencing today are in fact greater than those surrounding the ancient exodus.
