How America is slowly abandoning Israel and Jews

The thought of America abandoning Israel and their massive Jewish population of around 7 million people, is inconceivable, given that just a few short years ago, such a thought would have been regarded as fantastical.
When trying to examine how such a thing could happen, it’s helpful to turn to the familiar adage of “what came first, the chicken or the egg?”
Did this troubling new antisemitic sentiment emerge as a result of October 7 and the ensuing, unavoidable Israel-Hamas war, waged to defend the homeland? Or, was it always there, well-hidden but potentially able to rise to the surface when provided with the right triggers?
There seems to be a mixture of both, but another important element, greatly contributing to this disturbing phenomenon is connected to the evolvement of today’s society, where influencers have been able to reach massive audiences through social media, sowing the seeds of blame and suspicion, mixed in with national self-interest.
That disastrous recipe yields the growing trend, we’re now seeing, accounting for a manipulated reaction to alienate those now viewed as the greatest threat to America. Amplified by the likes of Nick Fuentes, Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens and a long list of many others, Americans are starting to listen.
Reminded that your high gas and food bill is all due to a war that America should not be fighting, the daily message is getting louder by the day, and as the uncertainty of a full-fledged conflict with Iran lingers, more questions are being asked.
Just recently aired, on N12, Israeli evening news, a 20-minute segment related the reality of a weary America who no longer sees the upside of remaining Israel’s close friend and ally.
The waning support was repeated as CNN’s Harry Enten displayed the numbers, showing that Israel is losing support from both the Democratic and Republican parties – a 36-point change in 4-years’ time.
A brief clip of “Morning Joe” host, Joe Scarborough, had him say “he never thought that in his lifetime he’d see the day when a majority of Americans were in favor of ending economic and military support to Israel.”
In the midst of a renewed fervor to prioritize American issues and concerns, a spotlight has been shone on Israel, causing it to look more as a liability than the asset it’s always been regarded.
Now, as a tough economic situation plays out, coupled with a sudden revulsion towards war, the fringe voices, once considered extreme and radical are now making sense to many who are searching for a convenient scapegoat.
Easier to just allow that “fall guy” to absorb the years of bad management and lack of timely confrontation of rogue regimes, it comes in handy to focus on a country that is characterized as bleeding American resources.
Unable to see the logic of going to war with Iran, a growing number of Americans are buying into the claim that their president has been completely manipulated to fight alongside Israel when it’s not in their best interests to do so.
Separated by a large ocean, being attacked by long-range missiles from the country who, for decades, has been shouting “Death to America,” is not what keeps Americans up at night.
It is the skyrocketing prices of healthcare, the impossibility for young people to purchase a home, a cost of living that has become unbearable, the dramatic increase in violent crime, the lack of effective policing, the damaging effect of open borders and, finally, troubling societal changes.
But let’s be fair. None of these are related to the worldwide threat, emanating from the desire for Islamic dominance or how a nuclear-armed Iran would be a gamechanger.
Those are the real dangers which should cause people to lose sleep, but why consider a serious looming threat when pointing the accusatory finger at an easily-hated group is so much simpler? It also takes the onus off of each individual, relieving them from their own failures and need to find solutions to avoid their own war on terrorism.
But when a formidable military machine, as provided by the U.S., is incapable of rendering the final blow to a maniacal despotic regime, either due to political considerations, such as upcoming elections, or the fading popularity of a president whose support is ebbing, all-out confrontation becomes much more calculated and measured.
And that is what we have been seeing. Thinking this would be a quick in-and- out operation, it, instead, turned into a months’-long game of chicken, where each side tests the other to see who blinks first.
Consequently, blaming Israel became easy for the temporary quagmire in which the U.S. now finds itself – uncertain of how to proceed, so as not to alienate MAGA voters who were, up until recently, faithfully devoted to Trump and his every decision.
Suddenly, they aren’t necessarily on board, as they doubt the wisdom of the path he has taken. They believe their hopes for a better future are being sidelined by Israel’s need for support to fight a brutal enemy.
Missed by them, is that this same brutal enemy is coming for them, (The Big Satan) just as soon as they’ve completed their mission of destroying “The Little Satan.”
It’s a perplexing quandary which couldn’t have been better timed for antisemitic podcasters and influencers who have found an opportunistic and clever method of making more money than they ever dreamed. They increase their listening audience, while providing more of the angry vilification which can never be enough.
It also works well for the Woke devotees, who desperately need an oppressor for the many victims who they pretend to champion. Equally useful for the followers of Democratic socialism, Human Rights groups and world organizations, such as the U.N. and the International Court at the Hague, everyone gets to pile on against the despised country that has no right to exist.
But as unpredictable as this all sounded just a few years ago, it was recorded thousands of years ago by the Jewish prophets who got a glimpse of what would happen. Israel would be abandoned, as foretold in Zechariah 14, stating every nation would be gathered for battle against them.
That includes the U.S., where we’re already seeing the evidence. Now, Americans will have to decide how to respond to the country that hates both Jews and Christians. For now, they seem to be on the side of abandoning the Jewish homeland and the 7 million among them.
