Refreshing Waters are Israel's Treasure ✡ "Hashem Will Open Unto Thee" - ISRAEL365

Hashem will open unto thee His good treasure the heaven to give the rain of thy land in its season, and to bless all the work of thy hand; and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow.

Today's Israel Inspiration

One of the blessings for keeping God’s commandments in the Holy Land is the promise of rain “in its time”. While the Land of Israel is dependent on rainfall for water and irrigation, rain is only valuable if it falls at the right time. Rain when it is not needed can be a curse and ruin the crops, while even a small amount at the right time can be the source of much blessing. As the Land of Israel does not have a significant water source, rain “in its time” is a most significant blessing.

Israel Just Brought this Ancient Plant Back to Life

Methuselah, the Judean Date Palm – links the past to the present through agriculture and archeology. One of the world's most ancient species, it is being revived after 2,000 years at the Center for Sustainable Agriculture in Israel.

Did God Have a Hand in Trump's Win?

Donald Trump’s upset victory in the presidential race seemed to defy the laws of nature, reason and sense. Several rabbis have an explanation, however: it was, quite simply, the will of God.

It gives me a great feeling of peace to plant trees in Israel.  I have been fortunate in that I have actually experience the joy of planting a tree with my own hands. Having you plant trees for my family and friends is very special.

What is the Last Secret to Be Revealed Before the Messiah?

An Israeli rabbi is working to bring back an essential element of the Temple service, the return of which was predicted by a great Jewish sage to be the last step before the Messiah.

Yesterday's Photo Trivia

Yesterday's photo by Igor Farberov showed the ancient port of the city of Jaffa, out of which modern day Tel Aviv has grown. The Old Jaffa Port is where Jonah set off in the Biblical story of Jonah and the whale.

“I Look Forward to Seeing Pictures in the Land”

It’s great to hear from so many of you - stay in touch and let us know where in the world you are enjoying Israel365!

I really enjoyed the Ein Gedi video today. Needing to rest and be still and the video really ministered to me. I did not get to see Ein Gedi when I was in Israel so this was a wonderful treat. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how much I enjoy your emails. I have kept the one with the video of the young man singing Psalm 23. I look forward to seeing pictures taken in the Land. My heart is there and so are my prayers.- Sharon Norris

Shalom. Many thanks for interesting articles and God bless. Niel
