5777: A Year of Generosity ✡ "Holdeth Me Up" - ISRAEL365

If I say: ‘My foot slippeth’, Thy mercy, O Hashem, holdeth me up.

Today's Israel Inspiration

King David, the composer of the Book of Psalms, endured numerous hardships throughout his life as a warrior of Hashem. Constantly in the face of danger as he fought against Israel's enemies, David always called out to his Creator to protect and save him even in the most difficult of times. This showed David that God's mercy and kindness were always with him and this inspired the poet to write today's verse, which is a deeply inspiring message of the high degree of attentiveness and love which God consistently gives to His creations.

“Israel is a Wonderful Place”

It’s great to hear from you and make new friends from all over the world. Please send me an email and let me know how you are enjoying Israel365 (don’t forget to say where you are from!).

Thank you for your messages. They are uplifting and I look forward to reading them every day. Israel is a wonderful place and Judaism is a beautiful religion. Your dispatches have helped me to reestablish a "connection" with Israel, a place that I sorely miss since going there many years ago. Thanks (To-da!). -Eriik Nikula
Shalom,
