Fulfill Your Biblical Obligation ✡ "He Loves Him Who Pursues Righteousness" - Israel365

The way of the wicked is an abomination to Hashem,
But He loves him who pursues righteousness.

תּוֹעֲבַת יְהוָה דֶּרֶךְ רָשָׁע וּמְרַדֵּף צְדָקָה יֶאֱהָב

משלי טו:ט

Today's Israel Inspiration

The word 'tzedakah' is often translated as righteousness. Another, and perhaps more significant, translation of this word is 'justice'. According to the Torah, the essence of charity is a combination of righteousness and justice. It is not difficult to give money to people and organizations to which we feel close. There is no greater joy than investing in something you deeply care about. According Hashem, we are commanded to give to the poor not just out of righteousness, but out of justice! In the eyes of Hashem, it is our responsibility and obligation to ensure that the poor receive their dues whether or not we feel personally connected to them. In gearing up for #GivingTuesday on November 28th, Israel365 is beginning its fundraising efforts early! Start giving to the Land, and the People of Israel now. Why wait for #GivingTuesday, when you can give today?

“I Do Not Remember Life Without Israel365”

It’s great to hear from you and make new friends from all over the world. Please send me an email and let me know how you are enjoying Israel365 (don’t forget to say where you are from!).

Shalom Tuly, I really do not remember life without Israel365. It helps to keep me up to date and takes me to places I would not necessarily think to go. There is always something different or new to learn. I so much appreciate the efforts you and your team make for us....not forgetting the support you have of your wonderful family. God bless you all.
