What the Summer of Violent Shaking Means Prophetically

Turn on your television, go to the mall, meet a friend for coffee, go to church, everywhere, everyone is aware this summer has been and continues to be a summer of shaking. (Dominik QN)
Turn on your television, go to the mall, meet a friend for coffee, go to church—everywhere, everyone is aware this summer has been, and continues to be, a summer of shaking. Someone will let you know about the latest attack, whether in Kabul, Afghanistan; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Dallas, Texas; or Munich, Germany. The attacks are seemingly more often, more publicized and more unexpected.
Shopping malls, peaceful protest rallies, random traffic stops—you name it, something unexpected is happening in the least expected places. If the shootings were not enough, we have weather patterns bringing intense heat which is producing wildfires, droughts and evacuations. Let us not forget the mosquitoes and the many exposures of people who have been involved in corruption being brought to justice and not being brought to justice. This is a summer of shaking. Can we agree on that?
Most would say yes, this summer has been a shaking, and many are trying to explain what the shaking is for, what brought on the shaking and what God is doing with the shaking. Depending on your biblical worldview, the shaking could be the judgment of God on the nations; it could be the consequences for our sin; it could be the days of Noah, which usher in the second coming of Christ; or it could be something else. I would like to present to you a potential "something else" thought as to what has brought about this summer's shaking. In no way am I saying this is the final word on the subject, but I do believe it is a word on the subject of this summer's shaking.
Last week I was reading through the book of Nehemiah and I stopped at a friend's house for our children to play. While there, I shared with her this revelation and she added insight to it, which confirmed to me that what I was sensing was more accurate than I first thought. So, here is what I think the summer of shaking is possibly about.
In the book of Nehemiah, we see that Nehemiah was cupbearer to the king and he got word about the condition of Jerusalem, so he asked the king for permission to leave his post as cupbearer and go to Jerusalem. Nehemiah's request was granted and resources were sent from the king and his kingdom to help rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and repair its broken down gates. My first thought is that Jesus, the cupbearer to the King, our Father, has gone to His Father, making intercession for us, and the kingdom of God has released resources for the rebuilding of the walls and gates around nations. I believe the shaking we are experiencing this summer is because heaven has heard Earth's cry for help.
Once the kingdom Nehemiah worked for agreed to resource the project to rebuild Jerusalem, Nehemiah and the people began to rebuild the walls and repair the gates. Not long after they started this project, Sanballat and Tobiah, began to mock, ridicule and try to dissuade them from rebuilding, but Nehemiah and the team could not be persuaded otherwise. My second thought is, Dutch Sheets and the Appeal to Heaven team, Lou Engle and the Azusa Now team, and the many pastors and leaders who met in Washington, DC for the Call prayer rally, along with intercessors worldwide and prophetic voices like Lana Vawser, Cindy Jacobs, Doug Addison, Kris Vallaton and many others who are not known to the public, have been the ones who have kept building with their words, despite the enemy's mocking and ridiculing.
Finally, Nehemiah 4:7-8 it says, "When Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabians, the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites heard how the restoration of Jerusalem's walls was progressing and how the breaches had begun to be sealed, it made them extremely furious. So they all conspired together to fight against Jerusalem in order to cause it chaos." I believe this is why we are having a summer of shaking, because we have been rebuilding the walls of protection around our nation and nations of the world. This rebuilding we have been doing in prayer and prophesying has made the enemy very angry because heaven sent resources to help us build. I believe what we are seeing around us is evidence of the walls we are rebuilding and the gates we are repairing.
The final scene before the wall is built and the gates are repaired, according to the book of Nehemiah, is a company of people who can pray, prophesy (build) and can wield the sword (Word warriors). I believe the Word warriors are being released for the finishing of the rebuilding of the walls of protection around our nation and other nations of the world. The enemy is increasing his attacks because he sees how much progress we have made on the walls and the gates.
Jesus is our cupbearer. He drank the wine of the wrath of God so we could be redeemed, revived and renewed. Keep praying, keep prophesying, keep speaking life. The evidence of an enemy in the summer of shaking is proof we are nearing completion of the rebuilding of the walls and gates around our nation.

Everything that has come down was put within us. Now we are waiting for it to come out of us.
Jesus instructed His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they were endued with fire. Acts 1:8 says it this way, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you shall be My witnesses..." What came down was the Holy Spirit, in the form of tongues of fire. Those tongues of fire are in our mouth. They are not coming down again. Jesus said in John 16:7, "Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you." Just as the dove came down and rested on Jesus at His baptism in Matthew 3:16, the same Holy Spirit came and rested upon people in the upper room in Acts 2, but in the form of tongues of fire.
Many people are looking up, waiting for something to come down. We pray out of Matthew 6, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done," as though it is something outside of us. We are looking up for God to send something down, but the Lord is looking down, waiting for something to come out—of us. I wonder if the reason we are not seeing a breakthrough is not because something has not come down, but rather because something has not come out. In the past season we would sing, "Holy Spirit, rain down," but I believe the song of this season is, "Holy Spirit, break out." Break our walls down. Christ in you, Christ in me, is the hope of glory! He must come out from us.
While I was in worship on Sunday night at Bethel Church in Redding, CA, the spirit of God spoke to me and said, "You have been given tongues of fire. Your words light up the nations!" The Lord has given us tongues of fire and in the midst of darkness, our words of life bring light and truth to build up the nations, not tear them down. The very next thing I saw was choirs of nations, singing, "great are You, Lord." it was a picture of whole nations lifting up their voices in one song to the Lord. I was calling to the various nations, to join in the song of the Lord.
Isaiah 60:1-3 says, "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For the darkness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord shall rise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you. The nations shall come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising" (MEV).
I believe now more than ever before, we have a mandate from heaven to let our tongues of fire out, so the nations can sing "great are You, Lord." As we speak life, we light up people's lives, we light up nations with hope, peace and joy, and we bring healing through the fire of our words of life. We have been given tongues of fire. In the past many have used their tongues to burn up what they deemed wrong, but today we are being commissioned to use our tongues of fire to light up the nations with the light of the life that comes out of our mouths. You have tongues of fire. Light up the nations!

Why God Chose You - LISA GREAT CHARISMA MAGAZINE SPIRITLED WOMAN

You might be surprised.

Why God Chose You

Spirit-Led Woman
Have you ever wondered why your spouse chose you? There are millions of people in the world and they chose you and you chose them. Have you ever wondered why the judges for the Miss Universe pageant choose who they choose?
What are they looking for, I mean all the girls are skinny, beautiful, in bathing suits and evening gowns, why did they chose that one? Have you ever asked yourself how some people get chosen, while others are still in line waiting for their chance to be on the team, be in the band, or get their break in Hollywood?
Maybe you have never wondered why some people get chosen, but I know based on the best-selling book, Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren's record sales, that you want to know what you were chosen for, even if you don't know the why.
Many books have been written on why you were created, what you are on earth for, how to discover your gifts, calling, anointing or any other thing you may be looking for. But none of this is relevant and can actually leave you more frustrated than fulfilled, not because these things are not important, rather they are not the reason for you being chosen. The Bible is full of Scriptures that tell you why you were chosen and it is not to do something, it will not tell you what you were chosen to do, but it will tell you what you were chosen for.
The point of the Bible is to lead you to a man, whose name is Jesus. If you read the Word of God, but don't ever enter into a relationship with the God of the Word, you will live a frustrated, unfulfilled life, no matter how outwardly successful you look or may even feel. The church is riddled with sermons about how to be something, how to do something, but very few sermons will tell you what you were chosen for. Now this is mainly because they assume you already know this, but the reality is, most of us, the people preaching the sermon included, do not know what they were chosen for. But God does, for He chose you!
Here are three things you were chosen for, now there are many more, but these three will give you the idea:
1. You were chosen for nearness with God
Psalm 65:4 "How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You ... To dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple."
2. You were chosen for access to God
Psalm 84:10 says, "For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness."
3. You were chosen to dine with God
Revelation 22:17 says, "The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost."
Throughout the Bible we see that we were chosen for intimacy with God. Genesis 1 is the best description of where we came from and Revelation 22 is the best way to describe where we are going. While everything in between is an invitation to come closer to a living, loving, God. The God of the Bible does not choose you because He needs you; He lacks nothing, but He chooses you because He wants you.
You are chosen for nearness, for access and for dining. He wants to commune with you, interact with you, come close to you. Jesus died not so we have to stand at a distance, but so we can come so close to Him. He chose you because He wanted to do life with you, He wants to be with you.
Most people struggle with intimacy because they have been rejected more than they have been wanted, but from before you were in your mother's womb (Psalm 139), He wanted you. So, He waits for you to come to Him, for He chose you, keeps choosing you and will not stop choosing you, for this is what you were chosen for.

Prophecy: A Storm Is Coming - SPIRITLED WOMAN, Lisa Great

Prophecy: A Storm Is Coming

Spirit-Led Woman
The year A.D. 2015 according to the Gregorian calendar, or 5775 according to the Hebrew calendar, is the Year of the Whirlwind. It is a year when everything is about to change, there is acceleration of events. For some it is going to be very exciting times, whereas for others it is going to be very challenging times. The line is being drawn in the sand and you will be on one side or the other, when the winds blow.
I live in the Midwest, and here we have a warning signal that goes off on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 PM, as a test to make sure the signal is working and so people know what the warning signal sounds like. I believe God is sending warning signals to His people all over the world right now, telling them a storm is coming. We see it on the news with the rise of various terrorist organizations, we see it in our falling gas prices, we hear about it through events in Ferguson, Missouri; Paris, France; and Malaysian airplanes. Jonathan Cahn wrote about it in his book called TheHarbinger, Mark Biltz speaks of it in his book called Blood Moons, and the Bible is talking about in Luke 6:46-49.
The Bible tells us that we are to be able to understand the seasons we are living in. I believe we are living in the best of times and the worst of times. I also believe our choices determine which of these times we are and will be living in. But God is giving us plenty of warning signals that the storm is coming, so we can make adjustments in preparation for the storm. If we can see the dark clouds forming, the wind picking up and can smell the rain, it is time to prepare for the storm.
I have known for a while and have been speaking that a storm is coming, but I never could pinpoint what it was going to do. Some people speak only judgment, while others speak only glory and good things, I was torn between the two thoughts, knowing it was both, but I was unable to discern what the purpose of the storm was. Then today as I was reading my Bible, the Lord revealed to me that the storm is coming to reveal our foundation. Luke 6:46 says, "Why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say?" This is not a rhetorical question, Jesus is making a statement of truth: Many call Him Lord, Lord, but very few actually do what He says. Jesus is asking us, right now, today, why do you call me Lord, Lord, (master, owner, authority) and not do what I say?
As I was meditating on this question, the Lord spoke to me and said, "It takes courage to follow Me." Many people follow leaders, pastors, other people they can see, but very few are following the Lord, for to follow Him takes courage. Jesus went on in this passage to describe two houses, one was built on a foundation, the other was built on the ground. To lay a foundation, you have to dig deep down to the rock, but to build on the ground, no digging is required, all you have to do is start building. Both are houses, both look the same on the outside, but when the storm hits, one will stand and the other will collapse.
A storm is coming, what you have built your house on will be seen, for the storm is coming to expose what is under the house, which most cannot see. Without discernment you cannot know what something is built on, for it looks like a house to the naked eye, but the storm is coming and some houses will stand and others will collapse.
The foundation that will withstand the storm is relationship. A love relationship with the Lord casts out fear (1 John 4:18), builds trust and produces obedience. The only foundation that will withstand the coming storm is one of love, for if you have not love, you are nothing (1 Cor. 13:1-3). Without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6) and faith works by love (Gal. 5:6), so you have faith, hope and love, but still the greatest of these is love (1 Cor. 13:13). A storm is coming, but love wins!
