Divine Protection ✡ A Pillar Of Cloud Shifted From In Front Of Them And Took Up A Place Behind Them" - Israel365

The angel of Hashem, who had been going ahead of the Israelite army, now moved and followed behind them; and the pillar of cloud shifted from in front of them and took up a place behind them
Exodus 14:19 (The Israel Bible™)

Passover: The Festival of Freedom

According to Rashi, a medieval Jewish Biblical scholar, the pillar of cloud that led the Jewish people in the desert during the day moved behind the camp, and obscured the Egyptians’ vision as they progressed in their bloodthirsty pursuit of the Jewish people. The cloud protected Israel as they fled and absorbed the arrows shot by the Egyptians at the fleeing nation. Today, the soldiers of the Israeli Defense Forces are a pillar of defense, shielding Israel from her enemies. May the God of Israel continue to protect His people through His modern-day pillar of defense, just as He did long ago.

The Greatest Passover Seder of All Time! ✡ "The Camps of Israel" - ISRAEL365

The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, coming between the camps of Egypt and the camps of Israel.

Today's Israel Inspiration

On the upcoming festival of Passover we celebrate God's awesome display of miracles during the Exodus. For the sake of Israel, a ‘pillar of cloud’ protected it from the shooting arrows of the Egyptians in hot pursuit. Today we celebrate the mighty sacrifices and bravery of the soldiers of the IDF, shielding Israel from its enemies. May the God of Israel continue to protect His people through His pillar of defense like He did for us long ago! Stand in solidarity with a soldier in need this Passover.

Celebrate Freedom with the IDF!

This week, Jews from all four corners of the earth are celebrating freedom, liberty, and redemption for Passover. What is freedom to an IDF soldier?

The Greatest Passover Seder of All Time!

Last year, 480 Israeli Defense Force (IDF) lone soldiers from 35 countries participated in what is being called “The greatest Passover seder in the IDF”.

Pillar of Cloud Defends Israel's Border With Syria - Israel Today

Pillar of Cloud Defends Israel's Border With Syria

Monday, December 05, 2016 |  Israel Today Staff

Amidst increasing ISIS activity on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, Israeli soldiers stationed there reported that over the weekend a literal pillar of cloud descended on the border.
The bizarre storm completely engulfed the Syrian side of the border, but stopped just at the boundary and did not enter Israel.
A number of soldiers are seen in the following video capturing the phenomenon on their cellphones.
The video went viral on Facebook, where not a few Israelis labeled the storm as “divine intervention.”
“Huge miracle! Notice how God stopped this enormous storm exactly on the border,” wrote Yifat Romano. “Thank you, Father!”
Netanel Tanaami wondered, “What more do you need to believe?”
“The Creator of the world is protecting us,” proclaimed Nissim Nahoum.
