A Small Sapling, A Big Miracle ✡ "A Vine Out of Mitzrayim" - ISRAEL365

Thou didst pluck up a vine out of Mitzrayim;
Thou didst drive out the nations, and didst plant it.

Today's Israel Inspiration

Asaph uses a refrain in this psalm which asks God to shine His infinite, glorious light upon his downtrodden people. He dreams of the return of the Lord to the people in a miraculous and overt manner. Just like God took the vine, representing the entire nation of Israel, out of Egypt and re-planted it in Canaan, so too should they receive God’s immediate deliverance in a complete and absolute fashion. Today, the Land of Israel is brimming with God's people and with the incredible efforts of Israel's pioneers and agriculturists, the vines of Egypt are growing with each passing week. But it's just not enough. Please consider planting a tree to truly help Israel flourish and restore the beauty of the Jewish homeland.

A Tour of Israel's Biblical Trees

There are many very old trees in the Holy Land. We look at an olive, an oak, a cypress, and a carob, all of which have stories to tell about history and cultural traditions in Israel.

Israel Photo Trivia

The Mount of Olives is a mountain ridge that lies adjacent to the eastern walls of the Old City of Jerusalem. In the days when the Second Temple stood, a special religious ceremony would take place at this very spot. Do you know the reason for their celebration? Write to us to take a guess.

“Israel365 is a Good Resource”

It’s great to hear from you and make new friends from all over the world. Please send me an email and let me know how you are enjoying Israel365 (don’t forget to say where you are from!).

Blessed to be able to plant one tree in my Israel! Currently visiting family in Australia. Hope to be able to visit Israel one day again before I die. Israel 365 is good resource. And beautiful. Spent time there in 1993-94 and 1998-1999. Sad about UNESCO votes. One day all will be made right again. No one can really take it away from us! Sharonah
