Protection in the Holy Land ✡ "And I Will Be With You" - Israel365

Then Hashem said to Yaakov, “Return to the land of your fathers where you were born, and I will be with you.”

Today's Israel Inspiration

In this week's Torah Portion, we read about the experiences of Yaakov in Lavan's house. As Yaakov’s wealth increases, Lavan’s sons become jealous of their cousin. Yaakov realizes the climate is turning against him and tells his wives it is time to leave, with or without Lavan’s permission. Yaakov also tells his wives of his dream that an angel of God appeared to him among the flock, telling him it is time to return to his homeland. God implies that He will only remain with Yaakov if he returns to the Holy Land, and will no longer protect him in Lavan’s house. Rachel and Leah encourage their husband to do what he thinks is best, since they, too, have no place in their father’s home anymore. At the Israel Institue of Biblical Studies you can continue your Biblical studies with Israel's top scholars - from the comfort of your home!

Shalom, since the beginning of Israel365 I have enjoyed following Rabbi Weisz. Anytime that GOD has enabled me to help the Jewish people through prayer or financial support it gives me a great feeling inside to know I can make a difference by helping out! May GOD continue to bless and protect ISRAEL, the Jewish people and the family of Israel365!
