Did you know that the windows of the holy Temple were constructed in an unusual way? The window frames became narrower on the inside (I Kings 6:4), which as builders could tell you, hinders sunlight from entering. It teaches that the House of God did not need any light from the outside. The light of the Temple flowed outwardly to benefit the world. Today an inspiring light flows forth from the incredible volunteer work of Karmey Chesed ("Vineyards of Kindness"), caring for the poor and needy of Israel.

Good day, thank you very much for all the Israel updates. Once a month on aWednesday evening our congregation in Bellville, Cape Town, South Africa, prays for your country and the people of Israel. It is awesome to receive Israel information via Israel365. I have visited Israel before and it is a dream of mine to go back to visit Israel again. Thank you for the daily Scripture as well as the beautiful pictures. May God bless and protect His holy land and His children. S. Theron |
