Change a Life, Change a World ✡ "The Land Will Yield Its Produce" - ISRAEL365

If you follow My statutes and observe My commandments and perform them, I will give your rains in their time, the Land will yield its produce, and the tree of the field will give forth its fruit.

Today's Israel Inspiration

Look closely at today's verse; are the blessings promised by God material or spiritual in nature? We see that only material rewards for abundant rain and food are noted, with no mention at all of earning spiritual merit for following God's word. Our Sages found this strange and explained it as follows: One who has food and security, and all of his needs met, will find it easier for continue fulfilling God's commandments, which clearly earns spiritual rewards as well. Join Colel Chabad, Israel's oldest charity, in bringing down blessings to the world and providing the poor of Israel with all their needs.

We Are Celebrating 50 Years Since Jerusalem's Reunification!
Countdown to Jerusalem's Golden Jubilee:
17 Days!
"Jerusalem of Gold", a stunning song written by Naomi Shemer, is considered the unofficial national anthem of Israel. The original song described the Jewish nation's 2,000-year longing to return to the Holy City of Jerusalem since the time of the destruction of the Second Holy Temple. Enjoy this beautiful rendition of "Jerusalem of Gold" and feel your heart soar!

Jacob's Sheep Are Back Home!

After more than a thousand years, Jacob's Sheep have finally returned to their native land of Israel. The flock of 119 sheep, who are believed to be the same breed of sheep that Jacob herded in Genesis 30, recently moved from Canada to Israel with their owners Gil and Jenna Lewinsky.

Today’s photo, by Joe Aminoff, shows little girls skipping home from school on the streets of Jerusalem’s Mea Shearim neighborhood. Isn't it incredible to see children running through the streets of Jerusalem, just as Jeremiah foretold?!

“Thank You for the Opportunity”

It’s great to hear from you and make new friends from all over the world. Please send me an email and let me know how you are enjoying Israel365 (don’t forget to say where you are from!).

Thank you for the opportunity to give to the state of Israel in this way. Had there been literature or a booth at Tel-Aviv airport on my departure last year, I would have donated at that time. I am sure that many visitors from outside Israel would feel the same upon departure and would donate more readily. -- Joel Silverman
