"I want to investigate who this 'Yeshua' is..." ONE FOR ISRAEL

Dr. Erez Soref, President of ONE FOR ISRAEL
Shalom!

It is always such a joy to hear of people being drawn to Yeshua. We recently received yet another message from someone who had been watching our evangelistic videos and had been greatly challenged by them.

He wrote to us, "Your videos helped me understand who Yeshua really is".

Discovering his friend was Messianic, Yossi* immediately began to berate him for his faith. However, he ended up apologizing, and started to investigate the New Testament for himself. He shared with us how negatively he had previously seen the Messianic faith, and how dangerous he had thought the New Testament was. He wrote,

"It was very hard for me to believe what was written there because it was in stark contrast to what I had grown up with. But your videos helped me understand who Yeshua really is. But what really convinced me was the verses in Jeremiah 31:31-33 that you shared in one of your videos."

He ends his message saying,

"I want to investigate and understand who this "Yeshua" is that everyone hates. Sorry for the sudden outpouring. But really really thank you. I hope there will be more of you around the world, especially in Israel. May God be with you."

Please pray for Yossi* in his journey to faith in Yeshua!
(*Yossi is not his real name)

MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE BIBLE COLLEGE...

The photo above is of our Bikurim (Firstfruits) students with our staff at the end of another day of study! Our one year Bikurim Program is designed to give newer or younger believers a solid biblical basis for life and ministry. They learn how to study the Scriptures in depth, and develop a theological base firmly built on the Word of God. We aim to be challenging and interesting, to provide practical training for ministry, and to create the opportunity for fellowship and unity as Jewish and Arab believers study God's word together.

NEW PROJECT COMING SOON!!
Here's a sneak peak...

"To The Jew First": What Does It Mean And Why Does It Matter?

There are two problems that Gentiles used to wrestle with back in the first century, and even though the Bible gives us wonderful solutions to these two problems, they still plague many people today!
What are these problems, and what help does the Bible give to us to solve them? Continue reading...

The Significance of God's Name: "The Lord Of Hosts"

Adonai Tzavaot, the "Lord of Hosts" is one of the names of God, used 235 times in the Bible. The first time it appears is in the story of Hannah and her husband Elkanah, in Hannah's struggle with barrenness. The literal meaning in Hebrew is "Lord of armies":  Tza-va (צבא) is the word for army - and what today refers to the Israeli Defence Force. Tza-va-ot (צבאות) is the plural. Multiple armies. But is it necessarily a military word? What does it mean, when we call God "Lord of Armies"? Continue reading...
